When it comes to understanding, applying, and seeing the power behind scripture come to light, context totally matters. Which means true knowledge of God's word also matters. Satan knows the scriptures in and out, and since he is our relentless enemy, we have to at least know what he knows in order to effectively fight Him. That's how we can know if he is using God's word against us, just as he tried to do with Jesus when tempting Him in the wilderness.

Get to know God's word, read it, study it, practice it! It's your weapon against a very clever enemy.
