One of the biggest struggles most leaders have to deal with is in getting performance out of their teams. Earlier on in my career I used to think that if someone wasn't performing up to par, it was their fault. 

As I began studying and learning about the power of systems, I discovered that I had been wrong all along. The truth is, we're ALL a product of our environment. Meaning that if you put an A player in a poor environment, you're gonna get poor performance.
