Bazaar Chats M16A1 Rifles In Afghanistan

Archival images have shown varying examples of M16A1-patterned rifles in use by Soviet forces throughout the conflict in Afghanistan during the 1980s. We discuss some of these images and their possible origins with Caden, an SR researcher. These rifles appear to have been issued in limited numbers and haven't turned up en masse throughout the country in recent years when examining primary source material.
