well. Today is a fun episode and it's a two-part episode because guys Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson, they had such a short relationship. But somehow this was getting to be like a three hour episode. I'm imagining if I kept it all one part. You didn't want to rush. You said I didn't want to rush because I think that there's a lot to unpack with this. There was something new every single day with this couple. I totally forgot how public they were.
And I want to really just take our time, talk about it and not feel like we have to. Yeah, be speaking very quickly. So it's going to be part one and then Part 2 is going to come out I think. Part 2 will come out Wednesday, December 6th. So we'll have one main episode, and then we'll be back on the Patreon. Patreon. The whole story is Patreon exclusive. This is a big one. This is huge. I feel like this is one of the couples people have been waiting for.
And this one is, yeah, I forgot like, so back in 2018, my friends were obsessed with this couple. Like, totally. They had my friend Hannah, especially in a chokehold, and she didn't even like Ariana Grande. And then suddenly she was obsessed. Yeah, I know. She was really excited to hear that we were doing this couple and I what a time, Honestly feels like a fever dream looking back at this couple it was. Crazy I had.
You weren't obsessed, though. I think I was intrigued, But when they broke up, it kind of meant nothing to me, you know? Yeah, I think a lot of people were hesitant to think that it would work out. Oh yeah, Because you know, boy. Did they move the nature? Yeah, they moved fast. And that would be one of my 3 words I would use to describe them. I also would say excessive and OK, but I also had some honorable mention words. And how about you say them next time?
OK, that's a good idea. Because you can get. You said you had 6 words and we usually do three. So what if, like Part 2, you get your next three words? That's a good idea. I'll save them. So fast, showy and excessive? Yes, and regarding show them being a showy couple, they were huge. They did not waste any time expressing their love and passion all over social media. It was like a new update every
single day that summer. And I let's let's keep in mind this question that we sometimes ask ourselves with these celebrity couples, was this a publicity stunt? Oh God. Because this whole timeline this summer in 2018 is simultaneously occurring with the ramping up of the promotion for Ariana's fourth album, Sweetener. And so I hate that. I hate. To question. It makes me question everything.
But it was totally making the publicity for her album so much bigger than it was because everyone was talking about them as a couple. It's almost like, I mean, I love, I really like them together. But Taylor and Travis Kelsey, like, now his podcast is blowing up. Oh, I didn't. Know he had a podcast? Yeah, him and his brother. And so sometimes he'll talk. About regular people do it, I
know. Yeah. I think he's like probably one of the top podcasters now because he'll talk about Taylor on the podcast and. Like too much. NFL also is getting major publicity like people are watching the games and his his jerseys went up by I think like 400% or something. So there is a huge monetary gain with some relationships. But this is the question is do you think it's quote fake? They don't really feel that way about each other, blah blah blah. Or is it?
Just like she knows she needs PR. She has an album coming out soon. No matter who she would be dating at this time, she would have done this. That's a good question. I think the thing that makes it odd is just how quickly this all happened. But I. Just wonder if maybe it is real, but then this is just the time in her life she chooses to. Well, we'll see. We'll see. She just chooses to share a ton. Yeah, I think it's a little bit. Of advantageous, I think they
were really dating. I think they were really hooking up and stuff, but I don't they got tattoos, so I don't think it was. But yeah, that's. True. That would be insane. If that was just for a fake relationship. I think the motives behind it are questionable. And OK, I mean it worked. All right. I will have to stop the episode right there.
