It's totally optional to subscribe, but if you're interested. You can check. Out our Patreon by searching significant lovers. Patreon online, hope you. But today is a Mel episode. And who are you doing, Mel? Today we were talking about Friend of the Pop Vanessa Hudgens.

This is our third Vanessa Hudgens episode. Could be our last. Well, she does have a fiance now, so maybe we'll cover her. In the future. But as you guys know, we adore Vanessa Hudgens. Well, at least I do. I would say of like all the, like, beautiful women in Hollywood. I would say she's probably the most beautiful in my opinion and just has a really great contagious energy that I

literally like. Especially when I think about Vanessa Hudgens, I feel like it gives me a lot of inspiration in my own love life because I'm like, wow, she was with. Zac Efron for years. And then she was with Austin Butler for even longer. And then she manages to still find love again. And it's like, yeah, because she's Vanessa Hudgens. And so I try to, when I have my heart broken, think of myself as Vanessa Hudgens. And it does help. I do that, too. I think about people for inspiration.

Yeah. I mean, she's turned it around many times. And then she I think it's really not in the history books that she had. A brief romance with Josh Hutcherson. Wow, Pita in The Hunger Games as well as many other films. It was a very short relationship. I didn't workout. And I also have been thinking a lot about like rejection and like when you're so excited about something, then doesn't workout. It's so easy to internalize that.

But I think when you talk about other people's relationships, it's really easy from the outside to be like, well, there's nothing to, you know, let's say Vanessa broke up with Josh. Yeah, there's nothing to really. Feel like Josh shouldn't feel bad. He's still a great person, yeah, but it's so hard to tell yourself that when you're on the receiving end of rejection. So this is a lighter episode, though. It's a fun one. And it's it was cool to research

because I really didn't. I knew that they had like something, but it was seemingly like a rumor and I didn't know a lot about it. Yeah, I'm really interested. I feel like I've known both of them. Well, not literally known, but known them for. So long. So I always liked Josh Hutcherson. So he's a. Cutie Yeah, he is. He is really cute. But yeah, we've talked a lot in depth.

We've already covered Vanessa, her relationship with Zach, and her relationship with Austin, so I'm not going to get into her back story. But Josh Hutcherson? Yeah, he was born October 12th, 1992 in Union, KY. I had no idea. He striked me as someone who would. Be like an industry plant. Really. Yeah. He seems like someone who, like, probably like, was born in Hollywood. I don't know why. Interesting. Because he had success so early.

Yeah, his mom, Michelle, was a dental Delta Airlines employee. Oh, wait, the three words I would use to describe. Oh yeah, this couple would be sweet, silly and casual. Cool fun. Yeah, we need one of those. You know who? Else is from Kentucky, Jennifer Lawrence she. Really. The last episode we talked about Caitlin or was yeah, Caitlin suggested that they could have been a couple. You know what that is convincing me?

Yeah, because I don't. I mean, I think, I think the time, the opportunity has passed. I think she's with somebody now and he is too. But I think when you're from somewhere like Kentucky, it is nice to have someone who. Yeah. Who relates to that experience? I know it might be tough when you're spending all your time and. LA or New York and you don't know anyone else from where you're? From Kentucky is a very diverse state, though, in that it borders like so many different

states it does. But some parts of Kentucky are very much like Ohio, and some parts of Kentucky are a lot like Tennessee or like the South. Where you get all this knowledge, Mel? Because I've briefly had dated someone. From Kentucky. Yeah. I mean. It seems like there's cool stuff going on there. Anyway, I don't know. His mom, Michelle, was a Delta Airlines employee, later became Josh's assistant, and his dad, Chris, was an EPA analyst. His parents were actually high

school sweethearts. That's. That's sweet. Oh, Josh. Oh, Josh boy Joshua and his younger brother is named Connor. I don't know what he does. Oh, Connor. I'm a very early age. Josh wanted to be an actor. Frequently annoy his parents about it. A lot of kids are like that. I was kind of like that too. At age 8, he went into the Yellow Pages and somehow contacted a talent agent himself. He was so cute as a little kid. And, you know, so I don't think his parents were really stage parents.

But from age 10, he met with an acting coach who then encouraged his mom to fly him to LA to audition for pilot season. Despite Josh having really no professional experience besides like one commercial and something else, I forget like some church thing. And then him and his mom lived in an apartment complex for three years in LA while he auditioned for things. Didn't give up. Yeah, I think he did land parts pretty quickly. OK. And did a lot of like small

roles and commercials. But it is very perplexing to me that his mom. Would do that for him, because I just feel like I don't. That's a huge life change. I know to move your. Taste year old son. Yeah, the odds of them actually becoming successful are so slim. Alright, I will have to stop the episode right there. Thank you so much for listening to the teaser.
