And it's our second episode. Yeah. I'm intrigued. I'm excited. I really don't know much about their relationship. Yeah, I felt like they they were, they were like necessarily super surprising, but in a way they kind of were like it just it was very casual and I feel like people didn't really talk
about it enough. Yeah, I was weirdly obsessed with Cara Delevingne. Like, back in. 2011, 2010, 2012 whenever like that's. Exactly what they wanted. To be my God, yeah, I would like, make collages with her in them. Yeah, like, I was obsessed because I thought she was so cool. She fit in with the whole like, indie Tumblr vibe, you know? Did you watch? Pretty Little Liars. No, I didn't. So I was gonna ask you, because I did. I don't know.
Ashley Benson. She's most famous for her role in Pretty Little Liars. PLL What? Was her character like in that series? Her character was in the first season. She was kind of like, she was popular. She kind of like had ditched the other friends the past year or so to hang out with this other girl, Mona, who was like, cool now. And she also, I think, had an eating disorder and stole things.
I think that was like her thing, her secret because they all had, like they all had secrets, you know? But that became like less of a plot point as it went on. But she was kind of funny. Like, I think her character evolved to be more like down to earth And the comical one, I would say, yeah, I don't know. I used to love Little Liars. Then it got like, so insane. I mean, maybe it was insane finish. It all did. You. No, I never did.
I think I watched like some clips on YouTube, but it got so crazy. I don't know if anyone listening watched it probably, but yeah. I know. I think I tried to watch like one episode or something and I couldn't follow so. I read the books too, which they didn't really like. Stick to the books, but I used to be, like, obsessed. Yeah. So I'm I'm kind of invested in this episode. Yeah, yeah, 2. Two former people that used to. Yeah, yeah. Follow.
Yeah. Although I was more into um, Aria, Lucy Hale, Lucy Hill, yeah. I feel like Lucy Hale doesn't hang out with the rest of the girls. If you look on Instagram, it's like Shane Mitchell and. Shane Mitchell's beautiful. She's so good. And Ashley Benson and then the other one. I played Spencer. I don't know her name. Troy and. Yeah, they always are. Like a little threesome. I'll get into it guys. So Ashley Benson as we talked about, so she's from Anaheim Hills, CA. Disneyland, right? California girl. Yeah, California girl. Her mom's name is Shannon. That's my. Middle name? Wow. She's. A mom. Her mom, Shannon. Her dad. His name is Jeff. He owned grocery stores. Mine. Still some. You know, they're upper middle class. Yeah. She's an older sister. Shailene. Her family's. Like that name? Yeah, I like it. Too, her family's very Christian
and conservative. And some people in Reddit do think that her mom is a little bit homophobic. So, you know, I can't speak to that. I don't know if that's the case, but she is a little bit less, like, vocal about being queer than Kara is, so maybe that has to do with it. But also she is like love is love. So she does post the like private stuff. Her name? Nickname. Did you know this? It's Benzo. I didn't know Benzo. So if you're saying. Can we refer to her as that?
That's what I'm talking about. I have a feeling like based off of like her mom's Instagram that I went through that like there was maybe a little bit of stage parent fish just looking at pictures of her from when she was young. And I don't know if that's really the case, but she began dance at three years old. And from dance she did a lot of modeling and like dance catalogs. And then from that at age 7, she was signed by Ford Models.
And then from there she did like a ton of commercials and like a ton of modeling, she said. At the time, it wasn't cool to be on TV every week. I was working on commercials and all the kids would see me. I got bullied and I hated it. But I was really proud and it made it me more determined to get on TV. My parents said if I did I could be home schooled. That's why I tried and tried and tried and when I did, it was the best day of my life, which. I find it so hard to believe that.
But maybe it's true. Like maybe the other kids just resent child actors and. Also, like, don't believe it. I feel like in elementary school, like being on TV seemed like the coolest. Thing in the world. Like even if you were literally walking into a store and you were on like the security camera TV, like, yeah, I thought that was so. I know what you mean. So I find I still think it's cool to be on the security camera we always. On TV, on TV.
So and like even if someone was like in a local like they would air our talent show on like the local TV and it was so cool. So I really find it hard to believe that kids would make fun of someone for being in a commercial. Yeah, I mean, in my school I feel like the. Well, I guess this is like a. No way. It's not failed yet, but I was gonna say, I, the most popular girl in my school was like, in pageants. Yeah, you know, And she literally was beautiful and
popular. So and like, the guy that was in the plays, everyone had crushes on him, you know? So, like, is that true? I know, like the school. Everybody's always saying that, yeah. Maybe it's all about perception though. Like people are only like aware of other people's perception of them. So maybe to her like if someone. Was not the nicest to her. She thinks like, oh, it's because I'm on TV. Yeah, maybe.
I'm sure. Like even the people I'm talking about, maybe a couple people made fun of them or something, and then they, you know, can't forget it. Sad. Is this microphone picking up sound? Oh wait, should be. Then at 13, she was cast on Days of Our Lives, which she starred on from 2004 to 2007. Mmhmm. During that time she also was 1/6 chick in. Teen going on 30. Oh really? Yeah, which I actually watched last week. So she's just in the background. As you know.
She also was on Pretty Little Liars, which we talked about. That's really like what she's known for. But she also did the Spring Breakers movie. Oh. Yeah, I saw that. Oh really? I haven't seen it. And like a bring it on film. And she's done other stuff too. But she's known for Pretty Little Liars and before dating Cara, she has been. Linked to JJ Thorne. I think he's a singer. I don't know. Ryan Good. I don't know who that is. Cord Overstreet from Glee. Who did he play?
Was his name Sam? He was blonde. He came in like later. Sounds. Familiar. Yeah. James Franco, supposedly. Oh, he's in Spring Breakers. Yeah. So that would make sense. Tyler Blackburn. Yeah. So that makes me like seem Ashley, in this automatically that like, yeah, if Kristen. Is good friends with her. She must be cool. Oh, yeah. I didn't ask. So different. Yeah, it is different. Yeah. So then we got Cara, Miss Cara, Jocelyn Delevingne, born in 1992 in London, England. Her. OK, that's cool. I know I've already, I've already like, hinted this to you, but if there's any. Definition for like a nepotism baby, it's Cara Delevingne and you. Any one of the connections that she has in her family is enough to be super famous and successful like she is.
But it just is endless. Like if you're looking at her family tree, like there's always another branch where there's like another super famous influential person. It's crazy. It's like there's honestly way too much to even, but I'll like, give you the basics. So her great, great grandfather was someone named Sir Edward Holton, the media tycoon, and he owned what is now known as the Daily Mail. So there's that.
And then her maternal grandfather, his name is Jocelyn Stevens. He owned Queen Magazine, which he bought at just 25 years old. Which today is known as Harper's Bazaar. Oh. Wow. And he hired A photographer named Anthony Armstrong Jones, who became the future husband of Princess Margaret. And through that he met his soon to be wife Kara's grandmother, Janie Sheffield. Who was the lady in waiting for Princess Margaret. What so her grandparents like, hung around with.
Like royalty like all the time. Like they would just like go golfing and stuff and have parties with like Princess Margaret and like. She's basically like Princess Diana. Yeah, you know, Yeah, like that kind of social circle. Yeah, seriously. Like and and just the fact that they own like all these tabloids and magazines like they owned kind of like, you know, the media and and then this is all on her mom's side.
And so together, her grandparents, they're super rich and we're really like in the royalty circle. As I mentioned, they had five kids and then they divorced 23 years later, her grandparents. And so they have five kids. One of her their kids is Pandora, who's Cara's mom, and she worked as a personal shopper at Selfridges, which she landed because. OKI didn't actually explain the same. OK, cut that off.
So Kara's grandparents divorced after 23 years, and then her grandfather went on to date a woman named Vivian Duffield for almost 30 years, and she was the heiress of Selfridges in England. So. Kara's mom, Pandora, was worked as a personal shopper growing up at Selfridges through that connection. And her mom was like, also super famous or not famous but like was in the circles of like, royalty in England.
And she was often like photographed out with Sarah Ferguson and just like, you know, like as the friend going out and about, oh. My. God unrelated to her family, her godfather also. Is Nicholas Coleridge, who is it executive at Conde Nast? So he basically owns like? Is in control of everything under Conde Nast like he is. They do vote. Yeah, so he's like Anna Winter's boss, her godfather. So obviously it's quite easy for Cara Delevine to make it into the magazine. That's so true.
Oh. My. Godmother is also actress Joan Collins, who's like a Dame, I think. Same. I'm so jealous. Yeah, and you think like, okay, this is her mom said Her dad's side is like, must be the like, more like, you know, normal now her dad. So he's a property developer. He's the son of publishing socialite Angela Delevingne, whose father was the chief secretary of Ireland. And her mother was the head of The Washington Times. Copy developer That's like Chuck Bass. Yeah, yeah.
So there. She's rich in like every single Ave. of her life. I will say there is struggle in her family. Her mom was addicted to heroin. Oh my. God. But before Cara was born. No, I mean, even though people are extremely wealthy, do you think that that can cause a lot of? Problems. No, it really does. It does. And her mom had bipolar disorder as well, so she grew up like not necessarily in like the happiest environment she had said.
Everyone has something they go through with their family. My life I feel was very stressful because there was quite a lot of chaos. Not being sure people were OK or not, that is. Tough. And she had. Well, she still has them older sisters, Poppy and Chloe. They're also models. I've. Heard of them. Yeah, definitely didn't have the eyebrows that Kara the launcher into success, but Kara grew up literally super, super red. She was lived in a multimillion dollar estate in Belgravia.
She attended B Dali School, which is a boarding school in Hampshire, England. But at 17 she dropped out. So Daily Mail originally reported, like, back in, like 2011 that she dropped out to pursue a career in modeling because soon after that she signed with Burberry. But interviews years later, she attributed dropping out to
mental health problems. So I don't know, like if it's a little bit of both, maybe, maybe, she said I dropped out and I really just wanted to be able to prove that I wasn't the deadbeat that I thought I was. When you have mental health struggles, you can't see anything. It blinds you. And she also has said that she suffered with anxiety and depression, like especially at that age she was struggling to understand her sexuality, I think as a part of it. I think sometimes it can be many
things. Yeah, at the same. Time she might be like this isn't really working out for me and I want to do modeling. So, yeah, exactly. Yeah. Well, it's like. It's not working out for me. I don't like school. I could just be a model, yeah. Why wouldn't you? Exactly so. But her first modeling job was actually at age 10 for Vogue Italy.
So already she had a Vogue shoe. And then in 2011, there was a huge influx of articles about Cara and her sisters, largely in the Daily Mail. Which, you know, her family has so much pull of the Daily Mail. So you could kind of see how her success was like literally handed to her. Like they would all be, all these articles were like, who are the dynasty sisters? Like who are these Delevingne sisters up and coming and people would literally come in like who the fuck is this? Oh my God.
Yeah, they create. I mean, this is how Pearl works for everybody, but like, they just created. Celebrities out of them. Yeah, seriously. Made them socialites. Yeah. My God, it is like Gossip Girl. Kind of like, yeah, just kind of forced her to become the ick girl with how much the tabloids wrote about her for like, no reason. I really feel like she played such a huge role and I don't know if it was like her decision or whatever, but like transformed. Beauty.
Yeah, in the early 2010. So, like, yeah, the eyebrows thing. Huge. Yeah, I mean. Skinny eyebrows was like in small eyebrows for the longest time. Then all of a sudden it's like. Getting brow pencils and. You know? Yeah. And I feel like we are still kind of in that. Yeah. And I'm thankful because we have huge eyebrows. I don't. Wanna go back to? That no. It's probably only a matter of time.
I had a. Friend Kristen, who she's, I mean, she's still my friend, but back in the day when we were that age, she had the most beautiful thick. Like black eyebrows, but she had blonde hair and she was so, so beautiful and she was so insecure about it. And she literally dyed her hair brown to mash her eyebrows. And like, she and I remember one time like we would do little photo shoots. And, like, get dressed up.
Yeah. And I even made her eyebrows a little bit thicker so they'd be, like, even more striking. And she got so mad at me. Really. Yeah. But I hope that, like, she feels differently. I mean, I haven't asked her. Yeah, I hope so about her eyebrows, because I think they're gorgeous. That is a beautiful combination. Yeah. Like when my first and I know coming to mind was this guy that I was friends with in high school and he had like blondish hair but dark eyebrows.
Yeah, I feel like. That was a reason why he was, like, attractive. Yeah, it makes your eyes pop. Yeah. I mean, my eyebrows are too bushy though. Like, if I did nothing to them, they're like crazy. But. That needs to become more. I know fucking boys like the boy brows. I have Eugene Levy like eyebrows, naturally. So some people don't even you don't even like pluck yours, right? I do like a little bit, but like, not really. I'm horrible at it. Just once in a while.
Be like, OK, there's some stray hairs. I need to go, but mine are truly double the size that they are now. If I don't touch them, it's terrible. But yeah, thank you Kara. Like that actually really made a difference for so many people, so. I feel like you can still have small eyebrows. Like, you know what I mean? I don't think if you have thin eyebrows, it's like. Exactly what you're doing. But but there's nothing worse than having to, like, remove. Yeah, like half your eyebrows.
It's painful. I actually used to like pre Cara. I did pluck my eyebrows a lot and my eyebrow looks so small and. Things. They were like 1 inch like, I don't know. I mean, some people would literally shave off their eyebrows and like, draw it on. Yeah, I. Know, you know. So that like really made a difference. We gotta get give credit or credits due. But yeah, she like not. She's not only a model, she's also started acting around that time.
She was in Anna Karenina, Paper Towns, Kids in Love, etcetera. So she's. Girls, many talents. She also. She had some scandals, though. In 2013 she was photographed dropping cocaine outside of her. Apt. I remember that, yeah. And people online said that she's a pretty regular cocaine user. How did her family, like, not stop that? I don't know They didn't need to publish that unless they wanted it. Maybe they, you know, I bet they stopped a lot of things.
Maybe that one just. Yeah, that's true, Yeah. Maybe it was already out there or something. Yeah, I should look up like who? Who originally reported that. That'd be crazy if it was like the Daily Mail, because. Then that is like Gossip Girl. It's like, whoa, wait, why is spoiler? Yeah, skip ahead the next couple of seconds if you haven't watched it. But why is Dan posting about himself or his sister or his girlfriend? Yeah, that's. So true. Hey, all press is good press,
you know? So, like, what's going to happen? Like, she's not going to get arrested. True. Actually, maybe she has been arrested. Maybe she wanted the good girl. Well, I don't know if she ever had a good girl image, but like, yeah, to have more of a party girl vibe. Yeah, and I think she does, like I would say, Cara seems. Pretty edgy before. Before dating Kara. I mean Ashley, she dated Saint Vincent, Jack O'Connell, Michelle Rodriguez.
Actually think she was dating Michelle Rodriguez recently. Harry Styles very briefly rumored Jake Bug and Miley Cyrus. And she officially came out as pansexual in 2017. Yeah, so. Actually didn't know she. I did Miley. I think just briefly, like I think it probably was when Miley and Liam were broken up after bangers. That's quite a duo. I know. Yeah. Oh, my God. I know. I think that's too much. You need to have a balance of personalities.
Yeah. OK. And now I'm going to reveal some scandalous stuff. So just some context. Who knows if this is true, but there have been blind items online about Cara. Like she's supposedly had a threesome with Elon Musk and Amber Heard. And while Amber Heard was, this is all allegedly. But while Amber Heard was like married to Johnny Depp, so that like Amber Heard cheated on Johnny Depp with Elon Musk and Cara Delevingne, supposedly there's rumors of it online. I don't know if it's true.
But it's not crazy do. You think it could be true? I think it's true. I know that the podcast Fluently Forward thinks it's true. The girl, Shannon on that. It's not outside the realm of possibility seems. Wait, has there been any? I don't know if you know this, like interaction between her and Elon or anything like online or Let. Me see you. Don't have to know this. Should I look it up? I mean, he does seem to like, hook up with people a lot.
So Oh yeah, he's a little slut. It's been reported in Newsweek even that they had a three-way of care. So like, OK, it's like a very Google. No, it's not like on Reddit. Like, we really can. A lot of places have. Even Bollywood Life has reported on this. This is random, but I feel like a lot of. Indian publications seem to know a lot of gossip. I don't know how. Have you noticed that? No, I don't know. That is interesting. Because I would.
I don't know how they know this, but I would have the for the Twilight podcast emails sent to me about Robin, Kristen and stuff. And a lot of them were like Bollywood Life and India Times or something. There's supposedly pictures of them, I think in an elevator together here. Hmm. Oh my gosh, we're so gossip. Ohh, it's posted by the Daily Mail. Hmm. Oh my. Guys, I'm looking at a picture. I can tell that's Amber Heard or Cara Delevingne. It's a picture of a blonde woman in, like a robe.
And Elon Musk, is it? Does look like. Him, Yeah. Apparently this is in Johnny Depp's. OK, this is Amber Heard. I don't know where Cara comes into play here. I would not sleep with Elon Musk. Yeah, I don't think. I would I just like it makes me like question like. Maybe he's, like, really charming I. Don't know, yeah, maybe would entice. Her. Anyway. Anyway, so that's just like some
contacts. It doesn't have anything to do with her and Ashley, but I think it's good to keep it in mind for later on. Ohh. Just to know. Interesting, but. With this podcast, we are going to try to have a little bit of tunnel vision, focusing on the couple itself. So like, we're not going to really get into like them and their other lovers. That's a different episode, Different episode. But yeah, so Cara and Ashley,
how did they come to be? They they met 2018 on the set of a film that they did together called Her Smell. Yeah. I've heard of that. Movie Think it's about a band or something? Yeah. Has Elizabeth Moss when Cairo met Ashley? Yep, that's where they met. So they're both in this film and then they're photographed together just hanging out. In May 2018 are photographed holding hands at Lucky Strike and Soho. But cool, the press doesn't like.
Say that they're together. They think like maybe they're just gal pals, you know? Pictures also came out of the two of them at a parking meter where Kara has her arms wrapped around Ashley. Also, that month, a fan tweeted that they were at SNL and saw the two of them making out together, so it seems kind of official. Also, DJ Cole Collette posted an Instagram picture of the two of them on. Instagram a few days later hanging out. Yeah, sorry, I just really but.
I guess, I guess at this point like still people might feel like. Yeah, there are a few articles now that are like are they dating but they're really not sure. And then also Ashley posted a selfie of them together that is like blurry and it just says after fifty tries we got a blurry 1. Then of June, they posed together in somebody's Instagram story. I don't know. Wait. What year is this? 2018 So kind of a while ago, I just graduated college.
Cara Doesn't Instagram Live to say that she's taking over Pop Sugar's Instagram? No, actually, I'm sorry, Ashley doesn't Instagram Live. To say that she's taking over Pop Sugar's Instagram for a paid promotion for some gummy products actually does a lot of like, paid promotion stuff and Oh yeah, so interesting. And Cara writes, you know how when someone doesn't Instagram live, other people can like, write in the yeah, the comments. So Cara writes a lot of things
in the comments. Like she says I want you as my gummy. Oh wow. And Ashley nervously laughs and says you're the worst. And then during the live, Kara writes in the chat, Do you miss me? And Ashley giggles and says yes. Oh my God. And then someone asked Ashley what her favorite thing to do in her free time is, and Kara writes me, I know it's obviously been together. Then Kara also writes, What else do you like to do in your free time? I don't think Ashley responded
to that though. Yeah, Cara does seem very forward. Yeah, like Ashley was a little nervous or. Something. Yeah, definitely. And they're also photographed leaving a Britney Spears concert in New York together. Okay. So in August 2018, Ashley posts an Instagram selfie wearing a necklace that says the letters C and then the letter A on it. So Kara and Ashley in one thing. Yeah, And I didn't. In California they're Oh yeah, double s up. But I didn't realize that their,
like, couple name is a BCD. Wait. How? Ashley Benson? Oh yeah. Ashley Benson, Cara Delevingne, ABCD It's cool, yeah. Also in August, Cara has a little birthday party for herself. Ashley goes to that, and then they're photographed kissing. At the airport in London. Together. So they're together. Yeah, they've been really. They've been together since May, May or April. September. Cara posted a photo of her wearing a gold dress. This is interesting.
And Ashley commented mine on the picture of Cara. And then another comment that says I can see your sushi emoji. But then hours later, Ashley posts an Instagram story saying that she was hacked and those comments are deleted. She's like, I just got off the plane. I was hacked. So it wasn't her who posted that. It's calm. Is that? Really all a hacker would do. I know that's what I don't got, I. Might be just like so lame and ignorant but. What exactly is meant by the sushi?
Well, I assume that. Sushi. I don't. I wouldn't use sushi for this. But I assume that's like your pussy, right? That's what I was thinking. To do I feel like honestly. What else could I guess? Yeah, I mean, I think, right, Yeah. But I wouldn't necessarily use sushi as an emoji for I feel like Taco is what people do, right? Yeah. The eggplants, obviously. Yeah, you know. But that's interesting. Like, was she hacked? I don't know if she. Was hacked.

So then in October they go to a magic mic show. And also Speaking of magic, Ashley posted a picture of a neon sign that said you are magic and Cara commented yes you are on it. So very flirty displays of affection, which is sweet. Like I feel like people miss that in a way that.
Is sweet, I know Cara does seem very. Yeah, yeah. Where is Ashley's? More private, Like a source who knows if it's true told U.S. magazine that Ashley is very happy but prefers to keep things on the down low. And she did go on record saying, like, I just don't like to like talk about my relationships. Then they're just, you know, photograph for the rest of the
year, like out and about. They spend Christmas together in London. And Ashley's birthday is in December, so Kara rents it out seemingly the entire National History Museum in London. Oh my God, and posted a picture of a double bed in the museum surrounding Christmas trees and candles. Oh my God. Two days after Ashley's birthday. So people think that was like a birthday present for her. That is so extra. I know, I know. And I wonder. If.
Did they sleep in the bed? Did they do stuff in the bed? Did they spend the night in the museum? How was that there? I don't know. That must be so expensive. She really was spoiling her girl. Oh my God, so. I can't whistle hobo hobo. So the relationship really is like, they're in the honeymoon stage, OK, now it's 2019, they
go to the mall. Maldives with friends and Someone posts a picture of Ashley grabbing Kara's by February. Paparazzi snaps a photo of them kissing in West Hollywood. March, they go to or. Kara is on RuPaul's podcast and she talks a lot about sex and how much she loves sex and would rather stay inside and have sex and go to a club. And she says that she's a dominant top and sometimes struggles to receive. Interesting. But she said she likes to
receive but just doesn't know. Like isn't always comfortable receiving. Interesting. I know she like, literally. It's just so funny because Ashley's like, I'm private. I'm a private person. And Ashley, Carol opposite, Yeah, completely. She didn't name Ashley at all in this podcast, but she really didn't hold back at all talking about her private life. My God. Yeah, that's interesting.

Meanwhile, Ashley posts I was surprised on my 30th birthday. Morocco has always been a place I've wanted to visit. I faced so many fears and took on new adventures with my best friend by my side. And yeah, she posted a lot of pictures of them in Morocco together. Yeah, they're like in a hot air balloon.

So it seems like based off of like posts, they're quarantining together, like hanging out
together. You guys might remember that they actually appeared in GAIL Gadot's Imagine music video. They sing that you may say that I'm a dreamer. Line didn't. Remember. That with Kaya Gerber, which they also post a lot of tik toks with Kaya. I thought it was so strange, like not that it matters, but like that they're I always hang out with Kaya Gerber. Because she's way younger. She's way younger. At this time, 2020. Kaya Gerber is 18 years old, Kara is 27 and Ashley is 30
years old. And I like, I know that they're like models and stuff, but. I just here at 26, like I wouldn't even hang out with an 18 year. Old Yeah, I know. So odd. Like, maybe if they're your sister, but. Yeah, just like hanging out. Like, yeah, what are you talking about, 30? Yeah. 30 years. Old, I know. I don't know what to say, yeah. It's just. Interesting. Kind of, yeah. And you just wonder, like, what do you do with an 18 year old? Like are they drinking and

But yeah so they're very like posting stuff online during this. Like it seems like they just got TikTok they posted TikTok of them lip syncing. Do you know the clip of Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick where Courtney is like. A BCDEFGI have to go. No. OK, yeah, it doesn't really make sense.
And Scott's like, what did you say? And she's just like a BCDEFG and so they posted them like lip syncing that, but I think it's just interesting because a BCD is their coupling, you think? Those on purpose. I don't know, maybe it could be. Do people call them like a BCD? Yeah, yeah, so I just thought. That's an interesting coincidence, you know. And they posted a few more of them, like doing other Kardashian stuff.
April Ashley posted Instagram promoting a cover of the song Creep that she recorded with G Eazy He. Dated Lana for a minute. Did he really? Yeah. I don't know much about G Eazy, but so Kara does not like her comment on this post. Interesting. Wait, who recorded Kara or Ashley? Ashley. Did I say Cara? No, I just. Don't OK, yeah, Ashley posted this. Later on Cara gives an interview where she said that this time period, the pandemic was the most trying time for her.
Which is probably because, OK, I didn't explain this. Why Cara and Ashley? Broke up before the song or after? I don't know. It's interesting timing, so. A source just said Cara and Ashley always had their ups and downs before, but now. But it's over now. Their relationship just ran its course. I. Feel like a lot of people broke up during the pandemic. They did, yeah. So Cara later makes it seem like it's like maybe for just like claustrophobia.
And but she also said that that made the breakup harder, 'cause like she had less distractions. But is that really the reason? Because Ashley is then photographed in May with J Eazy, who she is now dating. Still. Yeah, she's still. With. Him. Yeah. So it's just kind of weird that she recorded a song with him in April. Yeah. The same month that her and Kara broke up. Yeah. And the next month she's like. Out. She's dating her. Yeah, So rumor starts spreading that she cheated on Kara.
But then Kara posed an Instagram story that says. It's more important now than ever to spread love, not hate. Everyone hating on Ashley Benson, please stop. You don't know the truth. Only her and I do. And that's exactly how it should be. Oh, that's sweet of. Her I Know and Ashley reshared this order Instagram with a pink heart emoji. I mean, people don't know that she's hated. Like sometimes people just, it's it's weird, but sometimes people do starting someone. Right away, yeah.
And then Ashley likes a fan post saying can't Ashley have friends now? Stop saying Ashley cheated or even Cara. They just need friends right now more than ever. Yeah, I know that's very wholesome. I know I didn't see and Ashley Ashley was appreciative of that. So now we're in December. Now there's a blind item though that's again this all alleged
that says. About this blind item She is best known for her role on a very popular young adult oriented television show that is no longer on the air. Frankly, it's amazing that she even has time to work with the amount of dating she does. Her last five or six relationships have all been with celebrities. Well, at least one of those relationship was rather beardy in nature. There were a couple of real and serious relationships in there as well, The most recent real
relationship. Was that with a famous fashion model she dated for a couple of years. Unfortunately, the model cheated on her and they broke up. So now it's like, OK, people thought Ashley cheated on Kara, but maybe Kara cheated on Ashley and we don't know, but we don't know the reason I said that the Elon Musk thing might come back into play. Amber Heard cheated on Johnny Depp with Kara. Supposedly allegedly. At this time period. No, no, but beforehand.
So makes you think like Oh well, carrot doesn't have an issue with cheating and there are rumors that Cara is a notorious cheater, but we don't know. My mind is just boggled with all these people. I know, yeah. There's too many people that play a lot of blonde people too. Yeah, so true. A lot of blonde people.
So anyways, March 2021, Ashley gives an interview for Cosmo and she isn't directly asked about her sexuality, but she's asked about the Gate storyline and Pretty Little Liars, which is like at this point years ago. So what storyline? A gay storyline? Is there? A gay? I said Gate. No. Yeah, Shay Mitchell's character is a lesbian. OK, so yeah, so Ashley Benson has asked about that. So obviously it's like trying to get her to talk about being gay. She says.
I'm not quite sure how many shows had that before ours. It's important, especially in this day and age, to just be true your true self and not feel judged by how your heart feels and who you are as a human being and who your soul connects with. I certainly feel that way about myself. It's who I connect with. It's not about gender, anything like that. And I think that's really important for people to understand.
There's no reason that somebody should get bullied or talked about or shut off for who they love. I think acceptance right now it's everything, and the more we can educate people about these topics, the better it will be for everyone. It was like, I don't know, There were some shows, I guess Degrassi and I don't know, But I do feel like it was very new, that, like, there was a show about four girls and one of them was gay, you know? Yeah, it was a pretty big deal at the time.
So even though it wasn't even that long ago, it's crazy. Yeah, seriously, actually. Like, I feel like in a show prior would have been a much bigger deal too. I mean, I actually didn't see Pretty Little Liars.
They treated it. But also that month Ashley was on Paris Hilton's podcast and says that she just wrote and directed a project, which actually don't really know what that is over the past year, which helped her get through a breakup and said it was annoying going through yet another breakup publicly with someone else who was famous. I think she was actually talking about J Eazy who I think they. Temporarily broke up, but got back together.
I think they're very often on, but you know, by by saying another breakup, she's also kind of talking about Ashley or Cara. Sucks. Yeah. And she said she, like, hates that part of fame, but like, it's like what she signed up for. Also April that year, Ashley likes a picture of Cara on Instagram. In May of that year, Kara posts a picture of herself crying on Instagram with the caption. If you need to cry, just cry and know you are not alone.
Your tears will water your growing garden if you can fully understand why it's raining. And Ashley likes the picture. And she also likes the picture of Kara hanging out with friends in May. In June, Kara says in Cosmo. I don't feel like I've ever left a relationship so fucked up that. It's been like I never want to speak to that person again. I just love all people I was ever with and want the best for them, you know what I mean? I want to see them grow, see them happy.
So that's. Very sweet. I know, yeah. So I really, truly feel like there's no bad blood. Then Cara posts another picture of herself cuddling with a dog and the caption is Big spoon, Little Spoon. And Ashley likes the picture. You know, this is a while after they dated. So really, like, I don't think that, like, they really had a bad breakup. Even if one of them cheated. I think they, like it really did just run its course. There's nothing salacious. That's nice.
Yeah. That's very hard to achieve, even though Cara does. I mean, I don't know her, we don't know these people, but like, she does seem like a little crazy party. Or maybe, I don't know, maybe she's cheated. Like, we don't know. But she does seem to have like a really big heart. She does like, I feel like, you know, if she were to cheat or something, it's like kind of out of love. Just for everybody. Everybody for humankind, like it's not a malicious thing, yeah.
I do think she seems probably like a nice person, and Ashley seems nice too. I love that she's friends with Kristen Surib. OK, Speaking of, I don't want to say this though, there was a blind item in May 2 months ago from when we're recording this now that says this Foreign born carries from London. Foreign born model slash Bad actress. I mean kind of mean. I'm not saying that the blind item is saying.
It says says she partied this week with an A list actress who used to be in that awful book series turned franchise and they ended up in bed together. So some people think that's Kristen Stewart, but obviously I don't think it's Kristen Stewart because Kristen Stewart is engaged. Yeah. Could be just totally made-up. Totally made-up, but also, but I guess I wouldn't say Ashley's an A Lister but could you interpret that as an A list actress?
Used to be an awful book series turned franchise like Pretty Little Liars. Was a book. That's. True series that turned into a series. But would someone call her a list? No, I don't know. I mean, this could truly be anybody, but people think it. I don't know if she's gay or whatever queer. Yeah, I mean, people do think it's Kara and Kristen, but I don't want to spread that rumor because it's not true. Yeah, it's not true. Debunked. But you're just sharing what you heard.

I mean, you can interpret it however you want. They get a smile. That's it.
They have. I know it's it's sad because it's like for him, like his heaven would be with. Her. Oh my God. But I guess I've also heard that like, everybody's heaven is like what they would want it to be. But I would feel kind of weird if, like, it's not even. I know, like it's my Are we not all in the same heaven? Together, we're just all dangerous. Oh my gosh. So. We'll see. We'll see, yeah. Or maybe we won't, but then it won't matter. Yeah, So in conclusion, it's nice that Kara and Ashley are on. Good. Terms. Exactly, exactly. I mean that's all you can do. I think they really were in love, and maybe it was just like a COVID breakup. I know that's sad. That really tested a lot of people. Yeah. Like there's a lot of couples I want to do that have deleted stuff I do. Really respect that. I yeah. I like young people. Keep their. Pictures up? Yeah. I mean, I can understand taking it down. Yeah, at the same time, but. I've done both. I think when you're a public figure, like people already saw it, people have already saved it. So you're taking it down like it's not like erasing it. keep all. I mean, sometimes you don't know what people have deleted some things, but when they keep everything like all their old pictures, it just feels so real to me and shows that they're like. It's so nonchalant. Like, yeah, I don't care if you see my exactly 2009 pictures or whatever, you know, they're. Not hiding anything. Yeah, I have taken even with like pictures of friends. Like I've just taken them down before if I'm not friends with them anymore.
So I understand. I kind of OK, this is weird. Today I was, I don't know, I shouldn't have done this, but I don't know why. I went on my Facebook and just started looking through all my old pictures and it was actually so cool. I mean, I guess you can just do this with your own photo collection or like. Even printed photos, like it doesn't need to be online. But so cool to go through the time and like, just see how things change and I don't know, yeah.
I know. I was actually paying a lot of attention to fashion because I've been like, having a core life crisis since, like things from when we're younger, like back in. I know, yeah. But you know what's so interesting to me I didn't realize that? We still wore like the sorry this is not any of these couples, but like we still wore the Cami look like into 2011. Yeah, isn't that crazy? I know. Actually, I believe it. I. Always thought that was way earlier like that it kind of stopped.
But literally even you stop pictures of you. We were doing that in 20. 11 It was such a slow, I feel like because it was such an integral part of like to our wardrobe, like it was such a slow fade out, yeah. 2011, I feel like and maybe it's the same for like deculator, maybe every decade, the first couple years of different, but like it changed
so much because. That year, so transitional I saw on. Facebook that I was wearing like low rise skinny jeans but like sometimes they were still a little flair but like low rise with the cami. But later that year I was wearing like high waisted floral shirt shorts like. No, no, it was just like. In a T-shirt with no hammy like. It was really so transitional that year. Yeah. And that was a crazy year. Yeah. That was when Kara De Levine became the IT girl.
The eyebrows. Yeah. I did want to say like a follow up about, like, Kara De Levine is like, she's definitely gone through a major. Downfall. I think her public perception like not that people like hate her, but she was so cool, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, and I feel like now that people know she's like such a nepotism baby, like that makes
people not like her as much. And she's kind of going through, like the Katy Perry thing, where like she's just perceived as like annoying and like making weird faces and kind of like. I don't know. Just a past like the best at the Billboard Music Awards. She was there and like she kept popping into like shots and pictures with like Doja Cat and like the stallion and. She's making crazy faces.
Yeah, just making crazy faces and like, I think the like, quirky, relatable girl act has gotten old for her and now people just find her annoying. I kind. Of hate that, though, it's anyone that. I don't know. It's like being themselves too much is then annoying. And like, maybe they are, but. Yeah, what? Does annoying even mean? I know, yeah. I think also people don't didn't really like her Met gal look that said Peg. The patriarchy. And it's like you're literally
like a part of the patriarchy. You're like. Wait, how is she a part of? The Well, I guess like she's. You know. Well, she's part of the like. Elite, elite, Elite. So it's. But I mean isn't it good that she has those opinions at the same time, like isn't it good that she's like? I know it's tough. Yeah, because I mean, at the same time, it's like, yeah, she's a nepotism baby, but like, what is she gonna do? I was. Gonna say that couple minutes ago, yeah.

Yeah, because, I mean, it's kind of good that she still works. I do think too a lot of really.
Wealthy, rich people, Not all, but like sometimes I think they do donate to things and. Yeah. You know, give back, but people don't really know. Yeah, exactly. Not publicize that much. Yeah. I don't know. Oh, yeah. She, I should have mentioned on Ru Paul's podcast, she did talk about like all these organizations that she, like, works with and that she, like, really loves to be like a humanitarian and did a lot for
like. Women in countries like, where they didn't have, like, sanitary products, yeah, So she like, really does give back. I do think she's a good person. At the end of the day, she's.
