You know what, this is our last episode of June and then we're going on a little Hiatus for still gonna do patreon episode.

So you guys are still in the. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but it kind of feels like it's like the last day of school in a way. So I know I'm going to be drinking in this episode. Yeah, with it. We are today is a fun. One Mel's and charge the sun. Yeah, we're doing kind of a lighter episodes today. Another marriage story, this is between funny guy. Baron Cohen and, you know what, also, equally, funny, lady Isla Fisher. They're really fun. They're so cute together.

The three words that I would use to describe them are playful affectionate always holding hands on the red carpet like, oh, they're on the red carpet. It looks like they're on there like second date or something. Like, they're so cute. It looks like they're like teenagers. Going to prom and enduring, don't we love the good. Good couple. Yeah, this A couple gives me hope that there is somebody out there that you know love can last. Yeah they do seem like a really

fun couple so but who are they? So Sacha Baron Cohen. He was born on October 13th, 1970 one that makes him a Libra. Libra anything about this but he was born in Hampstead is a Libra? Oh interesting. Any Libras in the house? Livers in the house. He was born in Hammersmith London England. To Daniela know me so movement instructor, that's kind of fun, movement and struggling to like dance. Maybe that's what I'm picturing. And Gerald Cowan.

A clothing store owner and he has two older brothers. Aaron who's now a composer and musician? And cool. Amen. Hmm, very similar names was a computer science lecture. Oh wow. And he grew up in a pretty Jewish Family. He attended the haberdashers boys. School. And during those years, he showed a lot of talent performing and participating and plays and musicals. I bet he later studied history at Christ's College in

Cambridge, it was a good school. I think that's really smart where he became involved in the University's comedy scene. And while there he joined the Cambridge Footlights, a renowned comedy troupe, that has produced many notable Comedians. And after completing his studies, he pursued a career in comedy and acting. Initially with small theater Productions and comedy clubs, and then in the 90s, he gained recognition for coming up with his character. Ali G. Uh-huh.

Who's like the satirical rapper television host. Like he's almost like a white Suburban rapper Who's like really like a Hip-Hop star. Like it's like making fun of people like that. Yeah and like he would interview unsuspecting guests in character and that led to The creation of the TV show. Ali G show, aired from 2000 to 2004. And then from there, he also started coming up with all these different satire characters, like Borat Bruno. Yeah.

In those characters have all had movies made about them and he is I just gonna say he's so funny like he really is someone who puts everything into the characters. Even like he seemingly has no fear. Like, I love. Like Jim Carrey in that way. Like yeah, just goes there. You can be as weird as he needs to be. Yeah.

And for some I mean I know it's so interesting too because a lot of these characters like it's so funny but like they also some of the work that he's done is like rooted in activism especially with his later films, like the recent Borat where it's like he's being like outrageous on purpose to like expose like other people's behavior racism and stuff and he goes to like really dangerous places like In the Middle East.

And like, we'll have to wear like a bulletproof vest and stuff or like he's talking to, like really powerful people who's been slowed like many times and yeah, he is just Fearless. Like I remember on the red carpet one time with the Oscars when he was dressed as the dictator like pretended to pour ashes on Ryan Seacrest and I'm Ryan Seacrest was so mad. He's a really interesting guy to me. Yeah. What's it with when he's Bora? He wears that like green.

It's like basically like a little thing that just like goes over. He knows. Yeah, I I have I saw, I think I saw a brat, but I was like pretty young. Mmm. So, I don't remember it too. Well, well, then there's a sequel that came out like, yeah, I didn't see it. He's also done like actual scripted stuff yet to like he was in Les Miserables. Oh, how could I forget. Yeah. Master master of the house. Keeper ready to hurl. Leave them off of. So old to he's so good at night. I actually wanted.

I was thinking about how we're doing this episode is make me want to watch Les Miz. He's so attractive to me to, I find really good looking. Alright, and we'll have to stop the episode right there. Thank you so much for listening to the teaser. If you want to hear the full episode in many other bonus episodes you can find them on patreon, you can search significant lovers on the website or download the patreon app.
