That come on. I love that song She's Shake. I remember what I'm gonna fit. Me and my friends were going to a party actually at your apartment. Oh sophomore year and we were all in the Uber and we were talking about that song randomly and then literally a minute later the song came on the radio
God exists. We all literally freaked out, run screaming. I mean that is weird because that's song was kind of Old by that point. Yeah. That in this was 2015 I think it really gets played that much. No it was very of its time such a good song. Oh my God. Shake shake. They were kind of a one-hit wonder though. I don't know any other song. Remember they had another song that was like a girl's name.
Look it up. When you Google Metro station the nearest metro station comes up Metro stations songs. Are they still a band? Yeah. Okay. Kelsey Kelsey the songs. Kelsey. Okay, so yeah. So who is Trace Cyrus? So he was born to Neil Timothy health. And Tish Cyrus if I don't know who Billy Ray's, not his dad. No. So his parents were Neil and Tish. He's born on February 24th, 1989 in Ashland Kentucky, which I
just saw. We're looking at our stats, not to be creepy but there's someone in Ashland Kentucky. Let's go away. Hello and his dad. Oh no, he his name actually Okay, his name. I'm sorry, his name was Neil Timothy Hilson when he was born. Who is Dad. His dad is named Baxter, Neil house sin. Okay? And he also has a sister Brandi. So this was really very yeah, Brandis like two years older than him.
So Titian Baxter were married, but then his parents divorced the year that he was born and Tish was a very young mom like to, she was 19 when she married this man, and Baxter was a drummer and And actually, so like he also was in the music scene and then four years later, Tish began dating Billy Ray Billy Ray Cyrus, and she right away got pregnant with him with my leave and smiley scandalous. Billy Ray was also expecting a baby with a waitress at the time.
So he had two women pregnant at 19. I did not know that and he I don't think anybody knew that so people know it's cold. Cody, is his other child, who's the same age as Miley and he has no relationship with that baby. Which is kind of sad that is sad. Because like, then he ends up being like this, Dad figure. Like, they literally are even on a TV show. Yeah, but so like, I was wondering. So, like what happened to traces? Real dad and this feels incredibly invasive.
Like I feel bad sharing it, but I think I will anyway because it's public knowledge. So the custody battle between Tish and her ex-husband Baxter is completely publicized. Yeah, I think all court documents. You can can see a really I read the fever orders ones. Oh yeah, I don't think all. I don't think I'll custody battles are. I think you can though? Like if it's, I think you can go to your local.
I don't know if it's a police station or whatever and ask for it and you can get it. Yeah, because it's like using government, you know? Yeah. Father, tax papers, taxpayers are entitled to access true. Yeah, that makes sense. Anyway. Yeah, so like they had a really messy custody battle years
later. I can't race was nine years old, his father filed petition to have visitation rights, granted for him because I thought this guy must have been a deadbeat father, something, but he was really trying to be a part of trace and Brandi's life. But Tish contested seeing that the kids didn't Want to visit him at all, like, oh, that must
be really bad. The courts determined that at least Trace, like really didn't want to visit his dad, and the reason was, because his dad refused to call him Trace. First of all, he called him Neal. Mmm. And he would, I guess forcibly take him to get his hair cut and Trace had a lot of anxiety, and he also had ADHD and he just would cry a lot, and he hated his dad. Because he didn't want to get
his hair cut. And I can understand like that is pretty traumatic for a kid, but it makes me sad because like the judge in the case, he really he was like I can't force the kid not to see his dad, but he was like, I don't think like I don't see any evidence that like the dad is doing anything worse than just making him get his haircut.
Yeah. And he was like I don't think that's actually that big of a deal but obviously it's a big deal to the kid and so Doesn't give the father any official visitation rights but he does encourage Tish to at least set up phone calls between the dad and the kids but he also seems to think that Tish and tisha's Mom were purposely turning the
kids against her ex-husband. I was thinking like here is Tish with a more famous guy Billy Ray Cyrus he has This hit song like I feel like she just kind of wants like Billy Ray to be the father. Maybe Billy Ray didn't want him around or something and yeah she just thought it'd be easier if. Yeah, he's gone Quinn. The dad. I mean do you think that at that point? Like he's got his he might lose his kids, would he be willing to stop it with the haircut thing? He testified and I'll get it.
He testified that the haircuts were consensual. He was like, he wanted his haircut and he did say that he, I think he also say that he calls him Tres, Tew To, but where did Trace come from? I don't know. Hmm, he just wanted to be caught dead there. A family of nicknames? I know they are trees to smile. Yeah. All right, I will have to stop the episode right there.
