Yeah, we had not on purpose, getting on purpose. It's just so, you know. But yeah. She's busy. I've been busy.
We were sick. Yeah, I'm still like I'm fine now. But like my voice is not back to normal. So I might be a little raspy. But I was telling you now that I always felt like Lindsay Lohan. Had kind of raspy boys, interesting voice and the gunk. It's cool that you're gonna have a voice. Maybe like that today. Yeah, I think so. Might sound like I'm crying a little bit. Big news. I quit my job guys. Yep. So by the time you're listening to, this will be my last week at my job.
We are becoming full time. Podcast kidding, not yet. That much money like my parents house. Yeah, that's if we were willing to sacrifice that we can do it, they would buy my food and stuff. But yeah, if anyone's a hiring manager, if anyone's a recruiter and they're listening to this, I have experience with like project management and Publishing. Saying. And yes, yes, I'm open to ideas, Mel does so much research for this podcast. She does like, 99% of our social media.
She's only nine of it. She, she's amazing. So, and you can hear her awesome personality in this episode, but also gets a little raunchy. Not safe for work. So I feel like some people probably listen to the first couple of minutes and then, but here's the thing it's like this is what I've said to you before like everybody has that side of their person, not everybody but it's like everybody loves off and they're like somebody else. So it's like yeah like I'm in my
corporate solve all the time. Yeah. So that's so true Mal. I was thinking since it is our first episode of the New Year it's kind of like a new Park at us thinking. Maybe at the end of the episode, we could just quickly talk about like our favorite episodes so far. Yeah. The grease favorite that we hosted me? Yeah. So there's apartments and we're trying a different room today though to record. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. So should we get into it? Yeah, let's go. So Today, we're talking about, we're talking about Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson. Who's that who's that?
Well, Lindsay Lohan and is an American actress and Samantha Ronson is a musician and DJ and I have to tell you guys something. Yeah. Isn't this great? This is great because everybody, I think some of you might not even believe this. Yeah. But I Where are my life? I swear on Mel's life, I swear on my cat's life, you can ask Charlie my boyfriend. Look him up. He was there. I swear this happened. So I have been doing research on Lindsay and Samantha for like,
the past month or whatever. And this was the next episode of the, we were going to record for that podcast. And I recently went to Upstate New York with my boyfriend Charlie and we went to this random Farmstand like outside of Of Hudson New York. We it was literally just like on and when we pulled over just to take a picture of the sign because like really old fashioned and cute, but then we were like, oh, should we go inside? I don't know. I don't really need anything but
whatever. Yeah, we could go in. So, he went his Farm Stand. We were the only people there. And then in walks, I swear to God, Samantha Ronson. That is so crazy. What are these hugs? Like, you know, of all the places In the world. I know the exact time that you were there. Yeah, she walks it. So you just saw her walk in. Yeah, I just saw her walk in. Did your jaw like I thought I was gonna die. Like, I felt so scared. Actually. I was like really, really,
really, really good. I was like hallucinate. Yeah. I think scared is the most. I can't describe how I felt because I was literally literally thinking about them that day. Like, in the car, doesn't go out the window layer. Like what am I going to say on the episode? I think we were going to record it the next day. Maybe I can try. Yeah. We were yeah. But then maybe you were saying you were, I was like yeah I don't know.
So we were literally going to record it the next day and it was just freaky to me like we're researching this couple and then I see her like what it was and wasn't even wasn't even like in New York City or La it like you know a club like where you might expect to see someone like that. It was just this little Small Farm Stand. You know, it's so weird. It was her. She walked in. She had the short. She has short bleach, blond hair, she's wearing skinny jeans and like sneakers.
And I'm not, and so careful in to think about saying something to her. Charlie said, I should say something to her. Yeah. So I didn't say anything and I'm kind of a shame, it didn't. But I thought I was scared and really freaked out by like the coincidence and just II felt like, I don't know, who know my God. I couldn't believe this was happening and I'm sure people don't, I'm sure people don't walk up to her that often. Yeah, it's not like that famous.
Yeah, so yeah, I was just kind of observing and I was just pretending to look at some cheese and then I kept looking at her and she like made eye contact. Yeah. And she this is what happened. This is what I observed. She got some cider donuts. She went up to the cashier. And said, like, gotta get him or something and then he says something back and then she was like, where do you guys get? These, were they baked and then he said, and then that's basically it.
I like her curiosity. Yeah, I know she seemed really friendly. I feel so geeky, I'm not even. You just walked up to her. You're like, hey, this is really weird, but I'm currently researching you I've been researching you and I have a few questions if you wanted to. Yeah, it's survival. How did you and Lindsay meet? Because I couldn't figure that out. No, I oh my gosh Samantha. If you're listening, I'm sorry.
This is creepy. No, she wanted to be there, it's creepy that he's talking, you know, but II do feel creepy. That was like oh my God, like observing her and is currently researching her do is we read out the like there's been so many weird coincidences with this podcast. It's insane is why I do. Think there's a higher power.

I know I do because there's like, literally let's walk through it like Well, 111, this doesn't sound that big but like, I was just listening to some of our old episodes today, just to, like, get back in the swing of things. And I remember like, with the Lynn is more. Is that Dave, Coulier one like that was pretty low stakes episode, but there was news about that. Like, right? When we recorded it, like, two days before, it was like really
weird. And then, like 20 years, there was an overlap with her more Alanis Morissette. Oh yeah, Carradine. Gotten Elena's tattoo. Yeah. Then with like Charles and Camilla. When we were like when we were recording it right before episode came out, Charles became king. Yeah. I mean died who else? And you were not going to record the oh yes in Sudeikis one. And then like two weeks later the whole Nanny stuff came out that she came out.
Yeah, I kind of canceled that idea and it's just crazy. So weird, this is like and to me, that's like a sign. From Lake God, if you believe in that or like the universe, it, like, this is episode that you were supposed to come here, you know? Yeah. Yeah. It's just crazy. I don't know what like if if you're thinking a lot about someone is weird that they the show up in your life, especially someone that you've never even met you mr. President. That's manifesting.
Well, I don't know you're gonna see Lizzy. I need Crown. He's scary huh? That would be freaky to see Lindsay Lohan in In public. Um, yeah, I can't believe it when I go home, I was stayed up way, too, late, reading, all these articles about like coincidences. And there have been, I feel like I've had a couple other coincidences in my life but there's been some crazy coincidences throughout human history and it's like, wow I do feel like everything is connected and we welcome to that.
That's really interesting. Yeah, it is. I totally believe in signs me to there's been so many crazy things like twins separated at Birth, that they Live the same life basically. Yeah. Like you know there's just all these crazy coincidences that scare me but amazing too. And I don't know, this is just, um, I was so freaked out. I honestly felt like there was like my life before this happened after. Yeah. Yeah. Honestly. I feel like that was like, I
don't know. Like a revelation like that. Like, oh, okay, gotta this is. Yeah, this is crazy. So thank you so much. She seems. Okay, I'm gonna get into the Kabul, the relationship and Samantha. Hope you're not listening. I feel bad that know why we're not going to say anything bad about, you know, getting into her personal life. And we so weird to listen to a podcast about myself in a relationship. Oh my God, probably so many things would be like, that's not true.
Yeah, but I just I was a I know that Lindsay Lohan, pretty much everyone knows who she is. Samantha Ronson. I didn't really know much about her before this, but I love her. I love that. It's so cool. I think. And just seeing her in real life. She's, I mean, yeah, it was like 10 second not ten seconds. It was like a minute, but she seemed really cool and nice. So she's a DJ right? Yeah. She's a DJ. Yeah. So yeah. Do you remember when 10 hand and Samantha Ronson?
And I think it was like, Not a big deal which is like kind of surprising for that time period. Like I feel like people just were really accepting as they should be but like yeah people were in like, oh, wow. Like Lindsay's guy like no one really cared, you know. I think not. Everybody was I accepting base. No really. But yeah. When the way I remember it is because we were like in Middle School.
Yeah, I remember being like a little confused because I don't know, I just think back then I didn't fully understand people being bisexual or whatever and I was like, wait what? It. But my perception of it is because that was like the height of Lindsay's like partying era to. So like my protection of it though was like that. They were bad influences for each other. Yeah, we'll get into that, more good. That isn't interesting.
I've been telling some people that this is the episode I'm doing next and some people like our age. Don't remember that they ever dated. Oh really, what? My mom remembers though. So yeah. My mom does yeah I feel like the Lindsay's life was so chaotic that back then was so chaotic, her dating life was like the least of anyone's like interests literally. That's what Samantha said 10.
She said that like something like the everything in her life was so crazy that possibly being gay or whatever was like the least crazy the yeah yeah. Lindsay Lohan. Oh my gosh. She so she has been kind of out of the spotlight for like the past decade. I would say she's like popped in and out. Yeah. But she's only holiday movie. Actually just came out with this new Christmas movie. I washed it. Did you watch it not yet?
I wasn't gonna watch him and Charlie was I heard this music playing in the other room and it was Christmas. Music is like what the heck is that? And he was watching it by myself. Like what the hell? So I sat down and watched it, um, It's cute. It's not the best mood though. You've never are but it's like it's cool to see her again. I don't know. I really liked her when I was young. We I think we both did.
We loved her are used to see every single Lindsay Lohan movie Beloved Mean Girls Parent Trap Freaky Friday. Herbie Fully loaded with your boyfriend. Said that that was the most iconic Lindsay Lohan movie. Yeah. You were you were like no. Okay, this is I think it's a fact is not not. Yeah. I think that's factually. Inaccurate. Confessions of a drama queen? Yeah, I even thought like just my luck. Oh yeah. I've seen that one. Got a clue one more there. Vic is one more for you.

Yeah, I can't find that movie anywhere just stream. Hmm, yeah, that's interesting.
I think that didn't even come up in my research at all, but I guess I was feeling like when she's older. Yeah. So, So I guess it's time to get into the romance and the drama and I hope you're not listening. Yeah. This this couple I think is the craziest couple I have covered so far. Really? Yeah, I think we have a lot to learn. We are talking broken windows talking jail time. Oh no, it's crazy. Yeah. What are your three words?
My three words, I came up with if I had to describe Lindsay and Samantha and three words would be dramatic sweet, huh. And turbulent. Okay. Mmm. Sounds right. Yes. Yes. Yes. It's very crazy. So what I found interesting is a lot of Publications or when you just Google like how long did they date? I feel like everywhere says one year but to me it seems like they were together kind of off and on for a couple years from like Thousand Seven to 2011. Yeah.
The other lot longer than people, I feel like Google simplifies things. Yeah, I know. Yeah but even like when I read articles they'll say like oh they're together for a year but I think they're actually together much longer. Yeah, Samantha let us know if that's true. Yeah, yeah, so after I saw her in the forest and we went back in the car. Okay. This was crazy cousin Samantha when her car and the car was like next.
Oh my God. Don't look, but I swear to God, that is Samantha Ronson in that car, that's so weird. And then he's like, you should go say something. I was like, No One's Gonna Go tap on the window, whatever. And for he did say, I shouldn't mention that I was recording and that's what we say. I'm a big baby. I know I wasn't DJ. Yeah, that wouldn't really be. I don't know. I didn't say, yeah. I feel like I was freaking out. She's a famous person.
But yeah, it's not someone that people would say. Like, I'm a big fan of. Yeah. You know, I was losing my mind. I couldn't say anything. Remember, the one time we were recognized? Yeah, we were recognized. Yeah, that was the coolest thing. I've, yeah, that was the last night also proof that God exists. Unless yeah, that was my God exists Liz, right Liz? Yeah. In Williamsburg. Yeah, that was so nice. What are the odds? I know you don't have that big of an audience so that was just

We did get recognized at the Twilight festive exact that was kind of like a dick smell the
first compliment. No one really recognize does that was kind of. That was actually more shocking, I needed that but that's okay. So Lindsay, Lohan and Samantha Ronson Lindsay's. It interesting person to me, I found her kind of difficult to Grass. Yeah, she seems like a bubbly flirty and funny person, but I also think that just after watching all these interviews with her and things that seems like famous made her pretty
private. And she often like shuts down and certain questions or won't answer things not in a mean way. It seems like she's like develop boundaries and reason. Yeah, she needs that. Yeah. But anyway, Lindsay Lohan, she was born, July 2nd 1983. Six in the Bronx and grew up on Long Island. And her father, Michael Lohan. Apparently was also a former child actor, but I couldn't even find. I didn't know that. Yeah, but I couldn't find anything about what he was in. So question mark.
But he had many different careers. He owned a pasta restaurant. He worked as a Trader on Wall Street. I guess her mom, Dina Lohan, anyone remember? Yeah. I guess you used to be a Rockette. And she also worked on Wall Street and later she became Lindsay's manager. Lindsay has three younger siblings, Michael Ally in Dakota AKA Cody and Dakota is about like ten years younger than Lindsay and she seems really
close to Ali, her sister. And I randomly looked up Dakota, I don't know why, and he posts, lots of pictures with Lindsay and he seems really sweet. He's always saying things like Lindsey's. Like my best friend for life. I never smile more than I am when I'm with you. Yeah, half-sibling Orville's impulsive. Well, yeah. So it's cute. This is also really random and not like a fact, which is an observation. I just feel like her siblings.
I'll have like, dark eyes, and dark eyebrows, except for her. Yeah. Her brother, Michael was in The Parent Trap. Yeah, the boy. That's like, I thought this was a girl. Yeah, yeah. They just, I just think they look like a beautiful family, but I got their problems. Yes, that's what I was about to say, but they have a lot of issues at least they Did at the time.
Um her parents divorced in 2007 which is right around the time when her relationship with Samantha started and her father, Michael Lohan was imprisoned for insider trading and he served another year for violating probation, which is something that spoiler Lindsay ends up serving time for herself like father like daughter. Yeah. And he was also arrested for attempted assault on her brother. Michael jr.
That's bad. And it's alleged that Her father is told stories about her to tabloids so much. It's just tragic. Yeah, she has a music video, like confession. Yeah. What's it called? I can't. It's something about like, Father David? Yeah, yeah, it's for the love of a daughter's. I don't know. So sad, there's a lot of news stories about the dad like he had a lot of issues.
Yeah, getting arrested. And yeah, but I can't get into the whole thing because you could do like a whole Episode about the parents, but it's really, really sad. I feel like she didn't have a good support system. Yeah, I've heard things about like her mom also like being her manager, but kind of, you know, using Lindsay. I mean, she was a child actor. Yeah. And she would have really bad fights with her mom, too. And one time they even fought so badly that 911 was called on
them. So I'm really weary of like, any parents who put their kids into show business because I feel like you're just like setting them up to be. Abused. Yeah, it makes me sad because I feel like Lindsey didn't really stand a chance to, you know, have a normal. Yeah, since and, you know, have a healthy relationship to things like alcohol because her parents were just so crazy and using her and she probably had no one to really trust. It's it's sad but it's really
sad. So yeah, as a kid, she started in print and tv ads, when she was 12 years old, she played both leads in the pan. Ant trap. I haven't watched that in forever. I think I watched it last year. So good, and whenever you want him. Yeah, when she really proved to be a great actress at a young age, in 2003 at age 17, she was a star Freaky Friday. And that's around the time for did Aaron Carter. Oh yes. Rest in peace. But I thought it was funny.
I read that. She dated Aaron Carter after he did Hilary Duff it. Supposedly got bored of her. Yeah, there was a whole food with Lindsay and Hilary. She made fun of Hillary on SNL. I remember watching it like live at the time? Yeah she seemed to have some foods with people. Yeah. 2004 she was in Mean Girls her. I would say my most iconic role

I thought she was going to be big like, in the music scene.
I know. Yeah, I don't know what happened. She also sorry is love Baxter but she also dated Builder Valderrama when she was 17 and he was 20. A for, and what's weird is she brought that up many times interview. She was, she's like, I'm 17, he's 24. What can go on there? Nothing really? Like she said that like, okay, I hope he comes. That's kind of his thing. I know many times. I also lost money on Ellen to said, because Ellen says something like you have a boyfriend, right?
And she's like, yeah, I'm getting Wilder Valderrama from That 70s Show. I don't know why it was funny to you. That in case people don't know who he is. Yeah. So yeah that was interesting to me. But then she was in for Herbie Fully Loaded in 2005, then Prairie Home Companion. I also haven't seen that many of them, but then around 2006, just my luck.
This is when her off camera. Exploits started to overshadow her acting two had all these feuds between her and like Paris Hilton and she's starting to become known as a A partier and I think people kind of stopped seeing her as you know just a talented actor. Yeah and I also I thought it was really interesting doing this research. I discovered that she's really into Marilyn Monroe.
She kind of idolizes her and I'm like glad that we did the Maryland episodes if it gave me more of a perspective on this, she had a fashion line I guess around this time and named her leggings in the line 6. 6126 after Marilyn Monroe's birthday. So like 26 being 1926 and she has a to Marilyn Monroe's tattoos on her arm and she even posed nude for a magazine dressed to resemble Marilyn Monroe.
And I saw these pictures of her like, her birthday party with Samantha Ronson and like her cake had Maryland on it. Like, she loves Marilyn and I find it interesting because I see like a lot of similarities between her and Marilyn Monroe. And yeah. And started randomly Megan Fox, who talked about this to Esquire and I just I liked what she said. I agreed with it. Megan Fox. I don't know why she's talking about Lindsay but she said are they weren't Confessions of a
Teenage Drama? Oh really? Yeah, I didn't remember that Megan Fox is in that. She said, I started reading about Marilyn and realize that her life was incredibly difficult. She wasn't powerful at the time. She was sort of like Lindsay. She was an actress who wasn't reliable, who almost wasn't sure about. She'd had all the potential in the world and it was squandered. I'm not interested in following those footsteps and I guess later Megan apologize.
Yeah it seems like it does. I know but the problem I know and insisted she hadn't meant to degrade it criticized Lindsay but I do agree with her like that. It reminds me of. I don't know that once he did have so much potential but then she started to like just like Marilyn like show up late to things and yeah wasn't it getting serious roles like she wanted to to and yeah, yeah. Like Lindsay's is literally a phenomenal actress looks so good. I don't know.
Now if she's that good but like she could have won an Oscar someday. I know maybe she still will baby. I used to think that I I don't know why Hollywood is is way but I feel like they kind of act like you can only have like one of a certain type at a certain time, you know what I mean? Yeah I remember thinking that Emma Stone kind of like replaced Lindsay. Lohan. Oh my God, that's so true. That's so true. She was in like The House Bunny and then like easy a I feel like easy.
I could have been like a Lindsay movie. Yeah. And then Emma became more like of a serious actress which I think was. He always wanted to do? I don't know. That's so true. Hmm. Yeah. Am I even felt like with the Maryland thing? This sounds bad, but I don't mean it in a bad way that I kind of see Samantha as kind of like a Joe DiMaggio in a way, not in the hitting way. Yeah. But in just, the Samantha is
more quiet and like reserves. And I don't know how uncomfortable the tension also older than Lindsay and, like, always there for her if she's older. She looks younger. Yeah, she's older. Um, And then also I just get the sense that she's like, always there for Lindsay. So yeah.
So who is Samantha Ronson? Yeah, is this chick, she is a DJ and she was born in London to the Ronson family, which was formerly one of Britain's, wealthiest families and founders of hair on International a British property development company. That's why she can be a DJ but the family definitely still wealthy but the family Lose 1 billion dollars of their wealth in the property. Crash of the 90s, how a lot of money, they lost a billion
dollars but we're okay. Yeah, I guess I don't mean, I don't know how, okay? But yeah, they were kiddos great. Her parents are Lawrence Ronson, who was a music, manager, and publisher and then real estate developer. Has he done? No, I think he's alive, but I don't know if he still do that. Yeah, her mother and Dexter Jones, Jones is a writer designer and socialite. Samantha has an older brother.
Mark Ronson and Twin Sister. Charlotte Ronson and their family is Ashkenazi Jewish with ancestors from Austria, Russia and Lithuania which I thought was interesting and they were raised conservative Jewish and it seems like Samantha still practices Judaism today. So happy Hanukkah Samantha? Yeah, we're recording this over Hannah. Yeah. But her parents divorced when she was young and her mom and remarried, the guitarist Mick Jones from the band Foreigner and her family moved to New York
City when she was six years old. So her unless he grew up actually like, not far from each other Mick. Jones, her dad herb. Mom's new husband already had two kids. So now she had two steps of siblings then. Anna Mick had two more kids. So now she's two new half-siblings, then I heard my dad, remarried and had three More kids. I was you thought the people will not happen. Now there's ten kids, that's a lot.
I know while growing up in New York, Mark Ronson became childhood friends with Sean Lennon. Wow who we mentioned on this show before and I think do you know the name of Mark Ronson? Yes I was going to say that's very familiar is really successful musician. Yeah he is. That's her brother. Yeah. That's her brother. Her older brother asked. Yeah, he's won seven Grammys including producer of the year for Amy Winehouse's album back to black his song Uptown funk. You probably know.
Yeah. It's actually his song not Bruno Mars. It's like Uptown Funk featuring Bruno. That's a really like that's a classic. I know. Um yeah he did. Amy Winehouse is whole album with her like rehab and that song like Valerie. That's his song, actually what? Yeah, and he also won an Academy Award and golden gloves for writing the songs for stars born like shallow. Are you serious? Yes. And he's done like so many people's records. Like he did Lily Allen.
I didn't know that was her brother, brother. That's crazy. He's done everybody. You could have caught up to her and said, oh my big fan of your brother. That be offensive. I don't know. I could have said something, but I was just too shy. Hmm, I don't blame him. I'm ashamed of myself. No, what do you say? Like, I don't know. Yeah, but he's insanely successful, so that's interesting. And in her twin sister Charlotte is like a fashion designer to
Townsend family. Mmm. So, Samantha said that she was a loner as a kid and She had most of her friends from her twin sister Charlotte and she does seem like a quirky quiet type of person like just watching interviews with her and stuff. She seems to have like a really
sarcastic dry sense of humor. And she collects toys and vintage t-shirts and yeah, she seems really quirky and she writes like lyrics and poems and stuff and yeah, so I believe I can believe that that she was like a loner as a kid. Sometimes I feel like when people say stuff like that I'm like, is that true? Yeah. Oh my God yelling Kendall Jenner says stuff like that. Like I was bitch. Shut up.
Yeah, you probably popular. Yeah, so she went on to play guitar and DJ like following her brother's footsteps. Totally went to the Chapin school on the Upper East Side, which is very prestigious. Kind of like Gwyneth Paltrow ask, but she definitely grew up to have like a different vibe from Mmm. Gwyneth she study. Creative writing and philosophy at NYU. She became a full-time DJ for a living and his DJ'd actually
really high profile events. Like the New Year's Eve celebration in Times Square. Super Bowl, Sundance and Cannes Film Festival, an amazing VMAs. So yeah, she also sings and plays guitar to and she's been in two bands. That's kind of all the background information I have about Samantha that that I'll share today. Obviously there's more more they could be said but I just want to say before I get into the relationship there was some stuff going on with Lindsay around that time that I feel like it's good to keep in mind that when he'd been to a drug rehab program, in 2007.
And was arrested for drunk driving charges. And then she went to rehab a second time and was fitted with an alcohol monitoring monitoring bracelet. And then two weeks, after checking out of that rehab, she was arrested again for trying to run someone over apparently while she was drunk. Oh my god, dude. He entered rehab a third time. She pleaded guilty for misdemeanor cocaine use and driving Under the Influence. She served one day in jail, 10 days of community service.
And three years of Probation and she had to pay a fine and turn alcohol, education program that lasts DUI, but I just mentioned in cocaine. Possession is the first time Samantha Ronson is mentioned in the Press with her. Oh, really? She was with her? Yes. Yeah. So this is the first mention I found out Samantha Ronson.
It was in a Metro UK article from March 29th, 2007, and it says that Lynn He was arrested on Saturday for possession of cocaine after crashing her, Mercedes convertible, but was back on the tiles, the next evening at the 944 magazine party at Teddy's Nightclub at The Roosevelt Hotel sources told In Touch magazine Lohan was defiant about her arrest and can to continue to party. So this actually is blew my mind because you know, that picture of Lindsay that is so famous.

Headrests and yeah Smith was driving Lindsay like the fact that like people see someone like struggling like that and then they take a picture. That's so like it's crazy how
that's accepted. so yeah, I guess that they were already friends at this point so that I don't know when they started hanging out, you know I couldn't figure it out but They were still at least like publicly just known as friends, but I don't know if they actually were romantic at this point, maybe they were, I don't know. But yeah. Um, that's summer 2007, apparently, the two were commenting flirty things on each other's, Myspace accounts.
And then Lindsay had some more issues makes me sad. She In November 15th, 2007 served just 84 minutes at a Los Angeles, County jail, right? I'm not totally sure why, but the surf, I mean, I'm guessing like drinking and driving. Yeah, that one that keeps happening but the sheriff explained that the jail was overcrowded, which is why she was only there for 84 minutes. Also, probably, because she's a
celebrity. Yeah, Jim. This is not related, but I don't even know actually cut this out, but I'll just tell you at least milk. Um, that January 2008. That's when he's Ledger died. Oh yeah. And her own mother said that Lindsay was with him when he died. So really? Yeah, that's weird. I never heard that before. He was dating Mary-Kate Olsen. Wow, we're Ashley. I think Mary-Kate Olsen, I don't know what was going on there, but I don't know. I, I just think Lindsay's life was crazy.
Yeah, yeah, you know honestly like we were To talk about this a couple weeks ago, like to think back on like the time. Like when I partied the most in my life. Yeah. Be like my freshman year of college. Like, I can see how someone could easily get addicted to that. Like if you have like, obviously, like I could have never gotten addicted to that because my parents, like would have killed me. But like her parents like that. Yeah, so true. They probably like, didn't
really care. Like, I don't know, like, not that you cannot parents that are strict and like still like, get, like really caught up in that kind of stuff, but it's probably As long as she was making money. And yeah, and our should everyone around her say yes. Like, she had nobody to like, say no to her. Yeah, it's like about that with you because I I feel like when I do these episodes I always try to like really put myself in it and like empathize.
And I was having trouble relating to Lindsay because I've just this is so not my life but I when I did think of it like okay imagine you're crazy this time in your life. If any of you have ever I don't know. Engaged in any partying, maybe you haven't. Maybe it was just Time you pulled all-nighters or something? I don't know. But yeah. Definitely time in my life there was like one week in particular, my friends and I like got a beach house and we drank every single day.
Yeah, and night and it was crazy. And like we were getting in fights and all this drama happening, it was so stupid and it was super messy, but I was just imagining like okay what if my life just kept going like that? Yeah. I was like, I think like oh why did we stop? You know, because we all felt like we We had to shaping up for college. I want it. You know, have a future. Yeah.
Like, our life depended on us, like just getting our shit together, but Lindsey already had like a ton of money. Probably, she already had been a star in movies. You didn't have that pressure to like get her shit together. You know. That's so true and everyone around her like you said, is doing this to, and when you, I feel like with actors, like she works on a movie for like, a couple months and then she just has a couple months of like,
yeah, thing, no structure. And yeah, No structure and she's so popular. Everybody wants hangout Lynn? Yeah, so everybody is like inviting her to parties. Yeah, I mean if you go to parties every day I think it is it can be really hard to go to party sober so I can see just oh drinking. I I really struggled to go. Yeah, party. So breathing now. Yeah, it's hard. So I don't know when I thought about it that way. It was like, I guess I can see
how. Yeah. And it's an Escape like especially it's a, it's I mean, it's rooted in alcoholism obviously, like If you like need that as an escape from reality like yeah, it's more acceptable. Obviously to be drunk at a party and really drink by yourself. So yeah, so true. When I've had like a really good party like a really good party. I think the next day I want to do that every minute of my life. Yeah. Like I wish I could just be partying 24/7. He probably went to pretty awesome parties.

I do look really happy and smiley holding hands and the article called Samantha her girlfriend in quotations and DJ friend. Yeah. So it seemed like they were still like skeptical yeah. Rest like what's going on here and that you see a lot of that like the weird terms, I almost really because she's partying so much people are being oh well she's making out with a woman like she's That's what girls do when they're drunk. Yeah. Yeah, I think that's true.
I think I saw articles like that, May 29th. So, a couple days later, Samantha and Lindsey were seen in New York together and they were getting lunch with Lindsay sister alley and they looked really giggly and happy and sources were saying that they've been together for about a year at this point. So that's interesting.

There was like, actually she later did say that there were a bunch of Articles saying like that she was doing it for attention or whatever have you ever thought someone was faking
being gay for attention? No. But I know what? No, I'm trying to start a thing myself. Like I feel like there's like maybe once I did think that but I can't think of a particular incident. Yeah. No, I don't think I've I think some people do like, some people do. Like I'm not going to. It's not my place to say anyone yanking it, but some people definitely like, especially when I was in college exaggerate it. I've yeah. Yeah, I think I've known some

That the headline was Lindsay, Lohan, fights with girlfriend in first hour of Valentine's Day and this is by Ryan Tate and it says, Lindsay Lohan's Valentine's Day. I don't know who that is what she said come at me bitch and Lindsay said I felt like I was in Mean Girls but worse that is me going. Yeah I feel like I wasn't being girls but worse me girls was a

So I don't know I feel like There are some couples words like, oh, this seems fake, like, they're calling the paparazzi. You know, seems stage, but them I was like, okay, no, this is the yeah, not stage like this is
crazy. Like people were just camping out outside of Samantha's house. That's sad. She should move. I don't I couldn't figure out why. They were always going to Sam's house. Yeah, there were never at Lindsay's. I don't know. Lindsay might have had like more bodyguards. I mean Samantha's rich though. Yeah. Does she go by Samantha or Sam? I think. Both mmm. Okay. So like a month later, July 21st 2009. There is another video of Lindsay coming to Samantha's and says, open the door, please. They're recording. And then you can actually hear in the video and I feel so like, nosy, and creepy for watching this and knowing this. But you can hear Lindsay yelling you lied. You fucking lied. You want to see it? crazy. They said like you're gonna go stocks am now like stalking them. Yeah. So yeah Lindsay because that is interesting like the properties like talking to them and they both responded. These like you're disgusting, knocks on the door. And yeah, the properties. Like she's sleeping Samantha. Yeah, because I think it's 6 a.m. they are, you can hear in the video is concrete. I feel really creepy that I even watch this, but you can hear Lindsay yelling and being like um, the hide yum.
I feel I thought I had was like, I don't know why you wouldn't keep your voice down if you know that there's like Paparazzi out outside. But like 6:00 a.m. you're tired. Yeah. And then there was a bag of clothes. Yeah. Well, you know a lot about We can only assume it does seem crazy that that would just be there for anyone to see but I guess I mean Samantha's house really doesn't have a big front lawn at all. There's like a little gate and then the door is kind of just like right there.
I have to assume that they're like not back together but like still like Sam even though she's like Collins. Yao is like still like letting Lindsay in. Yeah. Yeah it's not like a fresh cut. Yeah. Then three days later. There's another video of Lindsay shown up at Samantha's house, seemed same gate, same door, everything and then Samantha arrives in her car in parking. Garage is kind of like, outside of the house and Samantha's walking in.
And the paparazzi tells him, she looks pretty and laughs. And then smooth, it says, you think that's funny. So you want to see it? Yeah. Do you feel like if you were that famous? Like obviously that's harassment and it would be like scary and like if you're dating but a part of you would be like, at least people care like, you know, it's like you would feel like at least people care what I'm doing. Yeah. It would be crazy. I feel like it would have to feel a little flattering.

We just saw and after several hours of waiting I guess Lindsay was upset and crying when Sam arrived at 5 a.m.
So I guess, Lindsay been there for two hours and I think before Sam said or Article said that Sam changed the locks on her house. Seems like Lindsay still doesn't have like a way to get in or something. So she's waiting. Sam arrives at 5. A.m. Sam says who's out here and Lindsay cries out your girlfriend and Lindsay. Okay. What is it Lindsay's asking her? Like where she's been? She keeps saying like, where were you? Where were you?
Where were you? And Sam like won't answer but then she said, she was with her sister and Lindsay says, she doesn't believe her. It's like on video. It's Kind of crazy to see but Lindsey has this friend there with her. And Sam says she has to leave. I don't know her and Lindsay's friend come stumbling out of the gate, the front yard and seem so drunk. And then this car alarm is going off and she's trying to turn the car alarm off and Sam. Keep saying, she should call a
cab, she should call a cab. And I think, even the paparazzi guys, like, is she driving? And then once he goes into Samantha's house and leaves her friend out there and then the Friend is awkwardly like stumbles back up to the gate to the door? He's like a total third meal. Yeah. So then August 9th Lindsay's seeing going to Samantha's again this time with her sister Ali and it's kind of funny. They brought bunch of DiGiorno pizzas Pirate's, Booty McDonald's.
Seems like they're having a low-key night, and it's two days after Samantha's, 32nd birthday. So, I don't know if it's like force Samantha's birthday apparently on her actual Birthday. Sam bid had been DJing in Chicago and Lindsay went so it seems like they're really back
together now. Like there were all those video Paparazzi things made it seem like Lindsay to kind of just like, showing up and like maybe they were still talking but still fighting to but here it seems like like they're back together. I think she was just she was like a socialite. She's actually from like the Johnson & Johnson family. Oh, wow, she also, overdosed and died.
So I was just thinking like oh my gosh, it seems like this time it's you know, they're having all this fun partying, you know, presence helped in Brittany. All these people. Now it's like kind of coming to an end. Yeah, you know. It's at the reality of it. Yeah. It's kind of like crazy that like they didn't like that didn't happen.
I know, I know October 16 2009. Beverly Hills judge had extended Lindsay's probation for her drunk driving conviction, a year ago, and give her more time to complete a required Alcohol, counseling program, but she was warned that she would go to jail. If the judge heard that she had not been attending her counseling meetings and they said that they wanted while they wanted her to have a career. They that Lindsay cannot film her nose at the court.
So they're basically saying like you have to, you have to do this or you're going to go to jail. In New York Magazine, December 2009. There were reports that Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson. Then there were new bail, conditions imposed on her, the judge ordered, a drinking ban random weekly drug testing it, the actress would be fitted again of the bracelets detect alcohol, but there are more crazy stories of nights out Lindsay, drunk tripping, and hurting her knee and Lindsay apparently popping into places. She knew Samantha would be working at I guess I was like, oh, that's so true. Like she's a DJ. Yeah, she can like always find

But said she's working hard to overcome her drug addiction and
said regrettably, I did fail. In fact feel my most recent drug test and if I'm asked I'm prepared to appear before the judge Fox next week as a result I do think it's so weird that like people with drug addictions are treated like criminals like it's a disease like it's so crazy that they it's so crazy that anyone is in jail for using drugs. They just sad I do understand though. Like she did have several DUIs and that's, oh, yeah dangerous. That is dangerous. Yeah, I'm guessing.

It seems like she just has like this deeper like husky voice and she sounds like this cool kind of I mean she's older now just like this cool lady who has like a crazy past and like Nash doesn't care. Yeah, I yeah. She's really lucky that. Like nothing worse ever happen. I know. She's so lucky. Especially was like nowadays. Like I feel like people can't party the way they used to act like especially the fentanyl thing like it's scary.

I didn't expect to really like Charles and Camilla. What about, how would you answer that question? I would say, I was most surprised, I think by Nick and Miley Cyrus. Yeah. Yeah, I really didn't think it would be. I don't know that interesting. I was like doubtful because it was so young. I was like okay what is this going to be? But it was actually so cute. Yeah that one I didn't expect the time line was so long to I feel like that's the one that is most likely to get back
together. Yeah, I know we'll see. Who else? I feel like there was like a lot of Revelations that shocked me. Zach. And Vanessa, I was surprised by how involved, Ashley Tisdale was that was surprising. The Taylor Swift ones. I never knew all the details that you found out and especially like the John Mayer one. I mean, that was denied blowing, see that? He was just on that podcast? Call her daddy. Oh, I heard of yeah he didn't really talk about.
He didn't talk about Taylor Swift though, but he did say they're going to say he didn't talk about our book. But he did say, like, he was, like, I get so annoyed of people get. So obsessed with people thinking these songs are about people because like music. Alright? One line about someone and then one line about someone else. And then like everybody just like takes that interesting, what would you say was your favorite episode that I led? And also that for you to move

I didn't expect to like it as much because it's so like current and you know but it had me on the edge of my seat.
Really my car seat because I was listening to it while I was in the car on a long drive but there's so much about It that just completely shocked me. I knew none of the story prior besides, you know, you know, I knew that they were together. I didn't know for how long and knew about the hairstyle stuff
by the. Yeah. Anything about them being married before and just the whole timeline of events and it was just a big surprise me and I just there being so much, I really liked thank you for that nice to hear because it's me Kelly. Um, that was actually, I think my least favorite episode that, I almost or like LED. Yeah. Is interesting. What was your as a listener? What was your least favorite episode? I'm gonna. I think it's the Blake Lively and pain back pain, Badgley, I don't know, I'm just wasn't really invested in them as a couple and they didn't have much. Yeah. About them as a couple. I think that is what people have to tell themselves when they're going through. A messy breakup is, you know, this is hard. But it's a more interesting story. That's true.
You know, you don't want to have a an amicable breakup and then it's boring. No one's going to care about it. That's true. Also, it's kind of like what you guys always say like that was a big relationship for the both of them and now they've gone on And have like bigger relations. Yeah. Exactly. You know. So it's really matters a lot and
you know it's true. Yeah I think my least favorite episode that I personally did was either cared to Levine Ashley Benson because also not much drama and Vanessa crazy dogs. There's some crazy things that no Kara did. Yeah. It's like I feel like early on. I did a lot more of like the little details in people's relationships like they were spotted here. It's about it. They're like that. Only really. Works like if you don't know that they were really dating like BJ & Mindy. Yeah.
Don't you mean which? I think? I really like BJ & Mindy. But I almost feel like people think of us as a BJ. My God. Yeah, because it's like, our first episode and the most popular Listen to, I've kind of grown to not like the Mindy and BJ episode. Okay, I like it. I like it. I like it. storyline. And if they are kind of following what it's like in real life, I don't know what just, yeah, I don't support it or like it and that's something on the episode. I want like, for my hopes for 2023 with that couple that like we just throw a wrench in it and like, and like Vince, like, I don't know, like Mindy starts like a serious really would Jason Sudeikis.
