Lay in Layton, you know, they had crazy names so preppy sounding, but yeah, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley were co-stars on Gossip Girl, the 2007 show
that changed my life. Like 50% of the reason why I live in New York now. But if you haven't seen Gossip Girl, I think they're still interesting people to know about. I mean, Blake Lively's been in a lot of movies. She's with Ryan Reynolds. Now, yeah, everybody knows her. Everyone else her, right? And Penn Badgley you guys watch to you. I love it so much. He is the star of the show you, which he's an amazing actor in it. Yeah. Serial killer, mmm. Would you say is your? Yeah, okay.
I don't know what the threshold is. Yeah, I think What a sexy one day? Yeah, it's very interesting. I do want him to get caught. I know that's a controversial opinion. It's not that I like Joe. Goldberg is just like I feel anxiety about him getting caught and so I got ya my seat because like, I don't want him to, I want to get better, but I think it's too late. I know. I mean, I always root for him to get better. Yeah. A certain point. I know. Can he could he be redeemed?
No. I don't think he's done some really bad stuff like if he went. No, no. No. But I'm sorry. Rachel, our listener who messages about Charles and Camilla are episode. And I know that was a very controversial episode guys. And I know I was like insanely giggly and stuff but I she didn't like share the same affection. I had young but I just want to say that I admired that like I think it's Good to uphold your morals or whatever and you know what I mean? Yeah I think so too.
I think that he can be forgiven. I mean this is a detente. I'll get into the actual episode but I admired that she was like sticking by standing up for Diana and you know yeah me too. I think that's a nice thing about this show is like people are gonna have different opinions on it and we're expecting that and that was I think us to be so forgiving of Charles was like a fringe opinion, it wasn't like a norm. So Yeah, not a shark. There is crazy how everyone has
their own story going. Yeah. And you know what? I was thinking, too. It's like, even though like we're covering couples, I feel like naturally as well. We're covering that couple. I almost feel like I could take on a perspective of like one individual in the couple a little bit more than the other one. I know me too. And like, then I see it in a much more sympathetic lens on that person. And, like, for that episode, I feel like there's definitely More lens on Charles so it's
you're just more sympathetic. Yeah, I know. But when we cover Charles and Diana someday I feel like Diana's perspective will be much more at the Forefront. I know. I feel like I always kind of I don't want to be like too biased. Obviously we are ringer vices into this but like I always pick one person. I'm like a little more obsessed with. Like I feel like last week I was more interesting. Lie, more into Gwyneth. Hmm. Yeah, I'm so relieved.
This week, neither of these people have like a Scandal. We need that. I know guys. Yeah. Just to say about our Brad Pitt. But so, there's some negative stuff that came out about him. Like, after we recorded hey, what you gonna do? Yeah, that's what happens when you talk about celebrities. Yes, that's what we get. So, anyway, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley. Who are the, who are they? Wait, how would you describe this couple? In three words, I wrote down. Is that cheating?
I'm supposed to come. Um, with it in the moment or no. OK, it down. I think it's good to prepare wrote secretive. Okay. Passionate, I wouldn't expect that contrast. Hmm.
