Hope you enjoy. She seems to be very youthful and bubbly though, and maybe it's because she's the daughter of a classic 80s actress, but she also does remind me of like an 80s IT girl. And it's interesting because Jack seems very drawn to that decade. His music seems very inspired by like, Bruce Springsteen in the 80s. And so Margaret Quali kind of seems like the perfect girl for him in that sense, like his
dream girl. Like she seems like she's straight out of that time period, her essence in a way that I think would be very compatible with him. I agree, I think. I feel like part of the reason she seems 80s esque is she seems to have a very natural beauty. She kind of has gap teeth, she has curly hair and I wouldn't say she has, you know, Instagram face or anything. She has a very unique look to herself. Yes, definitely. But you saw in the 80s, like,
what's her name, The redhead? Molly Ringwald. Molly Ringwald. Yeah, yeah. And she dresses kind of inspired by that decade. Like, she does wear a lot of, like, classic but very feminine outfits. She's gorgeous. She's so, so beautiful. The more I researched her, the more I was like, gosh, she is. I could picture her like, on a poster on a boys bedroom somewhere. So how did they meet? We're going to summer 2021.
Margaret and Jack met sometime that summer at a party in New York, either July or early August. And at this point Margaret is 26 and Jack is 37. And take a drink. Because in the September 2024 article of Elle magazine, Margaret revealed that she wrote in her journal after meeting him that night, she wrote, I am going to marry him. Ohh my gosh. They always. Know, they always know. That's insane. I know I, I feel like these people aren't telling us how many times they wrote that and
then didn't marry the person. But it sounds like it was love at first sight. And later Margaret told Elle that she fell head over heels in love with him right away. And she describes a time when she was at a fitting for Chanel fashion for Chanel fashion show. And she's wearing a very dramatic white wedding gown for the fashion show with a veil. And the director of the show, Virginie Viard, I think is how you pronounce it, is helping her get dressed.
And Margaret says, I think I've just met a man I'm going to marry. And Virginie, if I'm right, will you make my wedding dress give me two years? And she also later revealed that she had texted Jack a picture of her in the dress, the wedding dress while holding a mutual friend's baby and wrote. What do you think? Oh my gosh, how soon is this after meeting? Two weeks. Wow. Actually seems like something Lena Dunham would do I.
Know I mean yes. He he cuts a spell on you, I. Guess so. I guess you must have like. That kind of ethics from Lena Dunham because they dated for like 5 years so. I know, and I hate to say this, but I do feel like with Lena Dunham, like she at the society, like makes fun of her for stuff like that and like calls her cringe and embarrassing because she doesn't meet the beauty standard, conventional beauty standard. But with Margaret Quali, it's like, oh, you know, that's so
bold and cheeky and cute. You know, it's sad. Yeah, it's true. I I will say in Margaret Quali's case, I do think it's weird. You think it's weird? The playing field, yeah. I think it can be funny. I don't know, sometimes. Sometimes I have sent a text for him, like am I crossing? Not crossing the line, but like will will he get it, you know? Unfortunately, I do think it entirely depends on how some how attracted somebody is to the.
Total. Like my friend was, I don't want to get into too much of A tangent, but was telling us about a guy giving her a rose on the first date and she thought it was kind of too much. And I was like, it really depends. Like if you think he's really cute, then that's so adorable, but if you don't then it's no, you know? It depends totally how
attractive you are. And it sucks that it's like that, but if someone does something that's like, yeah, I don't know, One time a guy actually did message me and said I'm gonna marry you one day, and I was not that into him. So then that's too much, yeah. But if it was like my crush who I was like obsessed with, I probably would have been like, Oh my God, it's meant to be, you know? Yeah, yeah. Have you guys seen the show Nobody Wants This with Adam Brody and not?
Yet. I've seen the trailer. This actually something something similar happened in the first episode where they like have a date Kristen Bell's character, then later text him, Oh my God, I think I'm pregnant. But it was, it was I think it was from a kiss. They had a really good kiss and she texted like that kiss was so good. I think I'm pregnant. And then her sister's like, that's really weird. Like why did you text that? And she's like, no, it's a joke.
Like he's going to get it. It's funny. And she's been freaking out because he doesn't respond. And she's like, Oh, my God, God, like, is that too much? But then he later does say, like, that was a funny joke, so he got it. But yeah, sometimes you do send a text like that, like in the early stages of dating. And it's you're really sussing out, like, is the person going to get my sense of humor or not? But, yeah.
So the public then first learns about their relationship about a month later when they're spotted kissing and walking arm in arm together in Brooklyn, getting ice cream. And again, like the pictures, I should have sent them to you guys. I didn't save them, but they remind me of the 80s. Like, she's wearing pink tube tops, a very white feminine blouse with black trousers that are kind of loose. And her hair is very curly in a
high ponytail with a scrunchy. And meanwhile he's wearing a light blue graphic T-shirt with blue and white striped linen shorts. Oh I just looked it up, it does look very. Cute. Even her like neon socks. Yeah, then in October, they're photographed by paparazzi walking down the street in Tribeca. Once again, she has her arm around him and she's talking on the phone. And in another picture, he's kissing her on the cheek.
And then a couple days later, they're photographed, this time in LA, kissing outside the Sunset Tower Hotel. So they're very big on PDA. All right, I will have to stop the episode right there.
