So, yeah. Cool are like Miley her relationship that I think of first is obviously mm-hmm. But this relationship was huge. Like actually. Yeah, and both their lives. It was for anyone that was in Middle School or even a little younger older like anyone was a teen or tween around this time huge. And there's a lot of drama. AMA with it as well.
Would you say as big as a canvas or no, I would say no. Because like, I honestly feel like I learned of Miley and Nick like after they dated like I didn't, I always thought they were just like exes. I I wasn't as like in the no. I'm not a Jonas Brothers fan though. Yeah I wasn't really into the Jonas Brothers either. I wasn't a Hannah Montana even though I feel like I was a little too old for ya. Oh, I love you. Yeah. Wish I could see him Montana in
concert. I know that was like, the hot concert in 2007. Yeah. Like it was like hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Still remember, Jen Francisco. Went, oh my God, I still listen to some Hannah Montana. there about 13 years? Oh my God, remember the youngest couple that we ever got below? This is our cover. I'm just gonna ask you that we ever going to do it like that. How could they ever go on to younger? Like, who is dated at, like 11 years old? That would be so funny. I know. So this is kind of like a history-making episode, probably
will not go younger. Before they had even met, who knows if this is like legit but Nick listed Miley as his celebrity crush and an issue of Bob magazine, but magazine in 2006 cute. And I want to give a huge shout-out, to a Twitter called Miley timeline where I got pretty much all this timeline information, is this still an active account, or they like review, they retweet stuff. They were last active in 2020. Okay, like this timeline. Actually gets pretty current. Wow, that's crazy.
What does Nick Jones have to do with anything? I know. So in her Memoir miles to go Miley mentions that she first met Nick, at the Elizabeth Glaser pediatric, AIDS, Foundation, charity benefit event, such a mouth. What is happening Memoir? I know what she wrote this and I think the other nine I want to say it goes into And I know it's so, yeah, I know but with the help of a Ghostwriter she didn't really write it. Let's come miles to go came out June or not Shannon, my sister
had that book. Oh yeah, I've kind of I tried to buy it actually for this episode. Could you not find it or something? I couldn't find like I because I just started this research last Friday so you couldn't find it soon enough and there's no ebook for them. So that's it, you know, time it came out of him. But so they've met on June 11.
Month, 2006 and right away in the book, Miley calls him, her first love, lemon Prince Charming, she says so we were at this benefit and I didn't know anything about the prince except I knew from a friend that he thought I was pretty. He came up to me with a bunch of guy, friends and introduced himself instantly. I wanted them all to go away, just to be with him. He started to shake my hands and I said, I don't do handshakes. I do hugs.
When I hugged me, I noticed his scratchy shirt and blurted out. I hate your shirt. So that was just about the first thing. I said to him, I hate your shirt. Oh my God, I had an Instant Crush. So what did I do? Did I act smooth? Nope, I asked him to karaoke with me and put our names in. For, I want to be like you from The Jungle Book when the song came up, I couldn't find him. So I had to do karaoke All By Myself. Let's say, people were laughing at me, not with me.
Hmm. Wow, she's very bold. Oh, I know Mario going. It's a teenager. She is so outgoing on all these He's interviews. I watched with her. She's like really just like shooting the shit with like people who are like 40 years old. My God now she's so charismatic but yeah. I'll show you a picture. This is the first time they met. Oh they're so young. I know. There's so cute baby. So young. So Miley goes on to write that he was going out with friends later that night and invited
Miley to join. But my mom didn't really 13 going out. I know. Anyway, were you saying what's the Vermont me? You know, they say oh yeah she asked her mom for permission and her mom didn't really want her to because she had a busy day, the next day but then she said she could have her older sister
Brandi, went with her. So Brandi came with her in my Lee says that she took forever to get dressed because she didn't know what to wear and then she decided to wear sweatpants so that it wouldn't look like she was trying too hard. What the heck? And after dinner Nick and Miley talked on the phone late that night until 2:00 4:00 a.m. wow. And in her book, they Says that she says that they bonded over being ferried, Christian, hmm, and Miley took that as a sign, but something like that.
And like because she had such a like, was trying to have such a goody, like two shoes image, like, you know, do the publisher like, say, put that in or, I don't know. I don't know. That's cute, though. You know, you're really in love, I guess, I would say when I mean, they're so young. But when you stay up that late talking to somebody like, that's so cute. I know, I'm not, you know, like, I know you could say like, You
know, they're young. But Miley says, in her book, I know it sounds silly, but my family doesn't set rules around. Love my Mammy met her husband on a Monday and then they got married on Friday when we were together for 27 years. My family doesn't believe there's such thing as being too young or too naive to be in love. All right, I have to stop the episode there.
