In this recap of the second installment of Love Is Blind Season 2’s After the Altar, Daisy and Ellyn tackle the lingerie-wearing, gum-smacking, “opera”-screeching elephant in the room.
In part one of 1,000 of Love Is Blind, Season 2 After the Altar, Iyana puts on a brave face, Nick can barely contain his contempt for Shaina (not to mention Shake), and Natalie is getting a surprise party she appears to be well aware of?
In this recap of the Season 2 reunion show, Daisy and Ellyn discuss aspirational hairstyles, unflattering fashion, and Vanessa’s need for new gays, plus a few things that matter — like how pissed and drunk everyone on stage is and how much they all hate Shake.
It’s the season 2 weddings! Will Nick’s sweat send Danielle into a spiral? Will Iyana finally see the red flags?? Will Shake EVER shut the fuck up??? You might be surprised! But you probably won’t.
In episode 9 of season 2, Shake and Jareteteetee are insufferable, Deepti and Iyanna both have doubts, and Danielle ruins a perfectly lovely charcuterie board by just being herself. Also, we get the first half of the first wedding of the season, and Nick’s antiperspirant really gave out.
In season 2 episode 8, Daisy and Ellyn agree that Natalie definitely learned how to neg from Mama Nan, and that Iyanna’s parents are her age and they are not here for your bullshit, but also may have brought a dying cat to the get together? Shayne announces in front of his mom that Natalie had diarrhea. And Danielle Danielles all over the cake tasting. Also they try on dresses and suits (literally who cares?).
In season 2 episode 7 we find out that Shayne doesn’t JUST want a cape at his wedding, he also wants hot dogs, mac and cheese, and an Old Fashioned cocktail fountain. Nick’s family might send Danielle absolutely over the edge. And if Mallory wasn’t regretting saying yes to Sal before, his out of tune serenade at her will probably do the trick.
In season 2, episode 6 of Love Is Blind, we learn that Shayne only has one thing he REALLY wants for his wedding (spoiler: it’s NOT capri tuxedo pants), Danielle’s mom should spend less time discussing her daughter’s flaws and more time making her husband dinner while he goes fishing, and Shaina was the villain we somehow missed in the first go-around.
In season 2, episode 5, Danielle’s insecurities are as obvious as her contour. Shayne begs Natalie for a compliment but she can’t hear him over her constant negging. And Mallory LOVES her ring, she swears, but like, clearly Sal doesn’t actually want to marry her because it’s not yellow gold. Also, Kyle tells Shaina she’s a rare find, which is understandable because he lives in a tree.
In this recap of season 2, episode 4 of Love is Blind, Daisy and Ellyn practice giving — and receiving — compliments. We learn how phenomenally low the cast members’ bar is (like, at the earth’s core). Shake has diarrhea of the mouth while Danielle has diarrhea of the butt. Enjoy!
Three Love in Paradise? What is even HAPPENING over here? In this episode Ellyn and Daisy begin to seriously wonder if anyone is okay. All the people get engaged. Even those who ABSOLUTELY KNOW they shouldn’t. Don’t say we didn’t warn you. Also, Ellyn implores Daisy not to mention “schmaschmorshun”on their comedy podcast.
Daisy and Ellyn are GOBSMACKED at the absolute stupidity on display in this week's episode. Two out of the blue proposals, a really embarrassing serenade, and Shayne doing it... again.
Welcome to season 2! What are YOU wearing? Daisy and Ellyn have absolutely no recollection of any of these people. Did we even watch this show before? Season 2 brings us Shane, Shayna, Trisha, some JLo wannabe with a wedgie, and everyone's favorite villain, SHAKE. Get ready to meet some deeply insecure people, who really want to go deep...
In the reunion episode of STFU UK we find out who’s still together, who can’t stand each other anymore, and Daisy and Ellyn discuss the finer points of buttered popcorn. NSFW.
In a mashup episode of all the UK weddings, we find out who does and who doesn’t. All the women picked the same dress, and if Fredday says yes, we will quit the podcast.
Episode Nine of STFU UK is a parade of truly awkward, cringe, and downright jaw-dropping family meetings. Come for the pasta bake, stay for the narcissism.
In episode 8 of STFU UK, Tom has a coronary over Tash, Catherine is an asshole, and everyone’s least favorite Who from Whoville, Sam sticks his nose job back into everyone’s lives.
Episode 7 of STFU UK, aka The Recording That Almost Didn't Happen. Ellyn has time blindness, Catherine is NOT HERE FOR YOUR JOKES, and Tom kind of grows on us? Maybe? A little? We reserve the right to change our minds at any time.
In this preview episode of Love Is Blind season 8, Ellyn uses her notes from the trailer and Daisy completely wings it. Also, apparently, SOME PEOPLE don’t find Daisy funny? In episode 6 of STFU UK, there’s trouble in paradise when we learn that Fredday isn’t perfect, Jasmine needs a time out, and Ellyn lives a truly blessed life.
In the 5th installment of LIB UK, Benaiah Twain and Nicole get a second chance at love, Cat has a score to settle, and we get a surprise cameo from Barry Gibb.
In episode four of STFU UK edition, there are only two things to discuss: Sam SUCKS and Fredday can get it five ways to Sunday.
In Episode 3 of STFU UK Edition, Daisy betrays Ellyn’s trust by watching ahead. Ellyn gets nodes imitating Catherine, and both of us are probably getting restraining orders from Fredday.
In the second episode of STFU UK Edition, Ellyn is convinced all the men of England are therapized, and Daisy is convinced Nicole is actually Nancy.
In the premiere episode of Shut the Fuck Up Nick Lachey UK Edition, Daisy does some GREAT accents, Ellyn is insufferable about how much she knows about English people, and Nose Job Sam is a walking red flag.
We made it (finally) to the end of Season One of Love is Blind. We swear we started this season back in the early 90s. Ellyn and Daisy (just barely) survived the Barnetts' sexual over-sharing, Amber’s mean-girling, and Jessica’s redemption arc. We learn that a party crawling with cameras and reality TV star wannabes is not the best place for a first date. Damian is fully out of his mind. And Cameron is a lady in the streets and a freak in the bed.
On Love Is Blind Season 1’s After the Altar Part 2 (because there are approximately 27 parts), Daisy and Ellyn discuss how much Amber sucks and how much Jessica has grown on them. Most importantly, they learn that women’s input on when to start having babies is irrelevant because God!
It’s a return to season 1 for Daisy and Ellyn, as they discuss the first of three blasted after-the-altar episodes. They talk about couples who made it, couples who didn’t and, of course, the lewks they opted to showcase as they gathered two years after the I do’s. (Bonus trivia: Amber took a very long time trying to properly level the phrase “cum dumpster.” You’re welcome.) Join Ellyn and Daisy as emotions are all over the place in this special reunion. Two couples went through with their vows, are they still together...happily? Join Daisy and Ellyn for what has to be their slap-happiest recording to date, during which they discuss what we’ve all been waiting for: the very first weddings episode ever produced for Love Is Blind. Who will say yes at the altar? Who will say no? And how many dramatic pauses will producers insert to make it seem like someone’s on the fence just to force a duh-duh-duhhhhhhh TV moment? Learn this and so much more on this episode of Shut the F*ck Up Nick Lachey.
