This illustrated talk will reveal some moving tales of the active involvement of the RACV in supporting the Australian military. Beginning in 1908 with the initiative of Automobile Club of Victoria Foundation Member, Colonel Harley Tarrant, the RACV’s involvement has included novel fundraising motor gymkhanas, the promotion of alternative fuels during petrol rationing and since the 1920s, valued contributions to ANZAC Day
