Jodi M. Savage always wanted to be a writer but wanted something more practical. So she became an attorney. In this episode, Jodi joins us to discuss her journey as well as her recent essay on MadameNoire. She also talks about being raised by her grandmother because her mother was a drug addict, her lack of resentment towards her mother, learning about boundaries, why its okay to love people from a distance, being diagnosed with breast cancer while her mother had also breast cancer, allowing others to show up for her after being abandoned as a child, and so much more.
