This week we Shoot the Breeze on some high octane WNBL action!
Before we do get into the full throttle start of the WNBL, we take a quick diversion to an exhibition the STB crew and friends attended at ‘Backyard at the Alex’ this week. With great food and company we viewed an exhibtion of pick-up portraits by recent pod guest, photographer Nick Lawrence. Make sure to check out the exhibition, play some pick up hoops and enjoy the awesome burgers!
In this podcast our hosts Paul Camillos and Jacinta Govind ride the proverbial highs and lows of the best women’s hoops in the country. In the first 2 rounds we witnessed eye watering stats, with multiple teams posting 100+ point games, double digit star performances as well as gut wrenching injuries that will set back teams for the season.
We also saw benches played and young talent emerge across the league as teams look to gain an edge in a tough season.
WNBL is the main course dished out, but we’re not kidding about the burgers!
