Episode description

Welcome to SHIPWRECKED & COMATOSE, an in-depth podcast dedicated to the classic BBC science-fiction sitcom, Red Dwarf.

In this special episode in between series 3 and 4, Mark welcomes Fraser, his co-host from the Right in the Childhood podcast, to the show. In this crossover episode, Mark and Fraser take a look at Red Dwarf in the same format as they look at kids TV shows on their Right in the Childhood podcast.

Right in the Childhood is a podcast about nostalgia and kids TV. The show's hosts are two friends from different generations, Mark and Fraser. Mark is on the edge of Gen X and Millennial; Fraser is on the edge of Millennial and Gen Z and they both have a Peter Pan complex! They take it in turns each month to take a look at a treasured TV show from their childhood, share memories, discuss whether the other host has heard of it, rewatch a few episodes and then discuss how it hold up with the hope that it does and that it doesn't hit them... right in the childhood!

Will Fraser, a Zoomer who's never seen Red Dwarf before, enjoy the show? Will he want to watch more after Mark shows him The End (S1E1) and Gunmen of the Apocalypse (S6E3)? Have a listen to find out!
