Hello everybody, welcome back to the podcast. Today, we're going to do at six minute letting go meditation that will help you soften, surrender and let go of control so you can come back to the present moment. If you've been struggling to let go recently, this one's for you. This is not recommended if you are driving. Let's begin. Let's take a nice moment just for you. You don't have to do anything else right now. We want you to just get comfy, sit down, lie down, whatever feels
good for you. Let's really let our body rely and take a nice, slow breath in and a gentle breath out. There is no pressure, no perfect way to do this. We just want you to be here with us right now. Let's do that again, a nice, big, breath in through your nose, hold it for a moment at the top, and then exhal slowly. While you're exhaling, let your shoulders drop and your body relax.
Leck of of any tension in your face, and want you to relax your jaw entirely and unclench and relax your hands. There is no need to hold on to everything right now. You've probably been carrying more than you realize, more thoughts, more expectations, and a lot of emotions, things you haven't had a second to process, and you don't need to fix any of it in this moment.
Just notice what's there.
Maybe something feels heavy, or maybe you've been overthinking something in your life, replaying it in your mind over and over again.
Whatever it is, we're just going to let some of it soften. You don't need to hold on to it so tightly anymore, allow your body to release it through your breath, and.
You don't need to let go of everything just enough to feel just that little bit lighter.
There's no rush right now or in the future. Letting go isn't a single moment. It's a choice that we make over and over again, and right now you're choosing space stillness and peace.
So take another breath in, this time filling your chest with air, and as you breathe out, picture that weight easing off your shoulders.
You're doing so well. Let's take another breath in and breath out.
Now, gently place one hand over your heart if that feels right for you, and just remind yourself, I don't have to carry it all. I am allowed to rest and it is safe to let go.
Let's take one final big breath together in how deeply hold for a moment together and let it all go on the exhale with sound.
Stay here for as long as you need in this place of peace, and when you are ready to move again, wiggle your toes, wiggle your fingers, stretch your legs out, and gently open your eyes.
