Proverbs Week 1 with Russ Ramsey

For the first week of our Proverbs series, Raechel and Amanda open their Bibles alongside pastor, author, and former SRT teammate, Russ Ramsey. As they explore the genre of wisdom literature, Russ explains how Proverbs is not a book of laws but a collection of wise sayings that are “generally true, always wise.” They chat about the significance of the Hebrew word for “happy,” how reading the Bible means the Bible reads us, and the loveliness of Nashville in autumn. The three friends celebrate these tiny morsels of portable theology and how the book of Proverbs teaches us to walk in God’s wisdom.
