Three Patterns of Reformations

NO 1: There is a deviation from God's Truth

1 John 2:15-17

NO 2: God is faithful. He raises us bold men and women who go back to the Truth of Scripture in order to know who God is, who we are, our condition, and how to be right with God.

1 Peter 1:17-21

NO 3: Suffering for standing up for Biblical truth

1 Peter 3:13-18

Examples of this pattern:

- Early Church - Stephen Acts 6,7

- 8th Century - Iconoclasm

- 16-17th Century - Reformation
