Welcome to She Pivots. I'm so excited to share this show with you about women who have had a personal event fuel a life changing pivot. It feels like this has been a long time coming, as I've gone through my own personal pivot over the last few years. Talk about a lady who's taking a new turn in life? Do you want to tell anybody about that? Once we're on the air, Well, I think this whole show is
basically my own pivot. Over the next few months, I'll sit down with women from across the country and across fields to talk with them about their experience as pivoting was probably the biggest pivot in my life. I'm your host, Emily Tish Sussman, family women's Advocate, recovering Politico and Mom and So with this show, you're trying to, would you say, inspire other women to lean in to that moment that
you're kind of experiencing. Yeah. Absolutely, to inspire them and to make them think about the options in front of them differently, like to think about how to take the experience they've had and how to take the life event that they may still be going through or maybe that they're at the tail end of it and see that those things can build on one another to be something
that's incredible. I'm pro pivot. I hope for us that what we get to do every time we pivot is collect a greater bucket of humans, resources creativity to go deploy human creativity and resources into the world, featuring dynamic women who inspire me and I hope will inspire you. What I do is some most interesting question. I don't
know how to answer that in a simple sentence. Pivot celebrates women their stories and how their pivot became their successes, and that calls for us to be very flexible often times, and to pivot a lot. I just kind of went with the flow, and then when I felt like something wasn't working for me, I would just pivot. Is that the name of the show? Join me as I sit down with women who have dared to pivot out of one career and into something new and explore how their
personal lives impacted these decisions. Launching weekly this spring, listen wherever you get your podcasts. I'm still wondering what I'm going to be when I grow up. I think
