Today’s birth story from Sara is a doubleheader. She tells us about her first hospital birth and her second planned - but a little unexpected - home birth! Sara candidly shares with us her rollercoaster of experiences with a miscarriage, lupus diagnosis, a successful pregnancy that led to a hospital birth, a second pregnancy during covid with a toddler in the home, using different types of pregnancy care providers, and homebirth that required her husband to be more “hands-on” in the experience than either of them expected!
