Today, Karly shares with us her special pregnancy and birth story which, despite feeling generally ‘smooth,’ left her with Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG, also known as prolonged and severe morning sickness) and an irritable uterus. She also speaks candidly about her struggles with mental health in early pregnancy, through pregnancy loss and into postpartum, and about how she wishes she had gone into her pregnancy a bit more prepared and knowledgeable about her birth preferences and options.
