Lauren Reece Flaum lived with breast cancer for 17 years. She died on July 2, 2012, but before she passed, she and her daughter Georgia recorded an end-of-life conversation with StoryCorps. In a prequel to next week’s episode, ‘An UnMothered Daughter,’ Sandra and Anita share an intimate excerpt from their conversation. Next week, Georgia joins Sandra and Anita to reflect on her life since she lost her mother.
