So I wanted to do a quick mock draft, just just for the just for the mock draft fans. Man. My I love doing my draft. I fantasy football. I'm doing fifty a day basketball dot matter with a wn B, a NFL, it doesn't really matter. Man. I'm I'm all into it. So just to start off, no trades will be in my in my mock this

is what it is. Shout out to the Bengals for ruining at mock draft. I had to do a little couple changes, UH to it, but hey, we got to it. I'm not gonna hold you too long in this. It is thirty two teams. I won't talk about every single player. It's not like I love and have a deep dive on every single person. There's so many talented UH players in this draft class coming up, so obviously we're gonna start at number one, even though even though I'm not

a fan other raders taking a quarterback here. They are gonna take Forana Mendoza Howson winner champion quarterback out of Indiana as their need, and they signed Kirk Cousins. But this team needs a lot, I mean, weapons and all that kind of stuff. You got Jens, you got Bowers, but the team is not Mendoza away, but it is a starting point. Number two Jets, New York Jets. They have two draft picks in this draft, and I'm going

r vil Reese Edge out of Ohio State. I think he is one of the most versatile players in this draft. I mean, this guy is ranging from pick two to pick five somewhere around there. But I just I just think r vil Reess just gives you something in addition to that defense. And they played really well Chase Young than Boys. Uh. This guy, I mean played all over SNT from the slot, off ball linebacker. I like him.

I like everything about r vill Recon. Shout out to Matt Patricia for or realizing his ceiling, showing and showing how he can develop over the years. He'll match your little running backs. He can guard tight ends and coverage, good instincts and zone I don't know. I think this will be a slam dunk pick for the Jets. Give Aaron Glenn something to build I'm sorry, not Saints, but Jets getting him something to build on, because the after

the trade saws going on. After you trade what's my name, man Quinn Williams down in Dallas, you can't give it the physic coordinator, no talent, you can't do it. So I'm going off every stare with number third pick Cardinals. It's not sexy at all. Not sexy at all, But I'm going Francis uh Ma you Noah, the Miami tackle who can probably move over to guard as well. Cardinals just need to build foundation to build, build your foundation for your future franchise quarterback who whoever they may be.

Scoby Brisset is not the long term answer, but you got Marv Harrison, Michael Wilson looks promising, you got Trey McBride. Any quarterback should be able to step in and go to work, but you gotta protect him. So even though he's not the sexiest pick, offensive line is gonna be deep in his draft and mightnah is one of the best in his class. So I'm going there for Tennessee Titans. This is probably my favorite pick and maybe my favorite player, however you want to say that, I am going, I'm

going Jeremiah Love. Man, this is the best. This is the best, uh probably one of the best players in the draft, if not the best, just from an overall perspective. I know I'm not a fan of paying the running back all this delete money because you can get you a jere My Love who comes out every now and then. But we look at Sakwon Barkley, Jean Robinson, Jamiir Gibbs.

This is the time a guy that can help cam Ward out tremendously in both the passing game and the run game and alleviate some pressure to allow, you know, to allow just you know, just just just to allow pretty much anything from cam warding whether this new offense is going to hold out of an office coordinator Brian d Bo. Give him a guy, man, just give him a guy. He has to going Barkley in New York. So I don't see why Jeremiah Love could not extend or help this offense out after they had so much

money and cash space and fregency. At number five, the Giants make a big move the trade for number ten. So at five they're going sunny styles linebacker Ohio State, just to do it all. Linebacker. Think about Baltimore Ravens, You think about the Rod Consmith's of the world. You think for John Harbaugh. So I'm giving him a guy who can be you know, sidelined a sielone and he dominated at Ohio State. Definitely. If Jemalia Love is probably my number one person, this is my number two sixty five.

He ran a four four six. The testing is off the charts. His combine pretty much got him drafted in the top ten. But not only is he just off the charts, he is probably one of the smartest players in the draft as well. So I Q was gonna play a big role. And I think with the with the Giants and how they're building their team, this is just another person to add to that front four that they have, even though they got rid of Dexa Lawrence.

All Right, number sixth, I'm going Carneal Tate receiver Ohio State. Brown's need the help that receiver. Man, give them a star. The Cardinal Tate dominated and when I see in the house State receiver, I just assume he leaped at this point Cardinell Tate didn't didn't run the forty time, which, hey, it is what it is. Man. I'm not gonna I'm not gonna harp on what that he should have or

shouldn't have. But get give give Shadua Sanders or Deshaun Watson, whoever quarterback is going to be some much needed help because Jared Judy is not it great draft pick in the tight end last year, the rookie uh you got You've got high hopes on Junkins a great rookie class, still got one of the best players in the in the league of Miles Garrett. I think I think Cardinal Tate here gives them everything they need. A six to

two guy who can go get the ball. Being the X receiver dominated matchup and got allowed Judy to be the second guy. I think Cardinal Ta can come in and have an amazing, amazing rookie season with the right with the right type of quarterback and number seven Commanders after Sunny Styles who I had here or who I had going here? At one point my mind draft, they turned their sight so on a month Sword Delaney at corner at of LSU. This guy is he's by a

number one corner in this draft. Fast, he's he's not injured like the other quarterback, but very versatile high IQ defensive back. And I think Commanders can do a lot here. They tried the whole lot of more thing didn't pan out, But this is another smart guy right six foot seven pounds ran a four to three What can you do? Right? But he can play with his own and the man one of my favorite prospects in the draft. I like him going to the Commander's number were at number eight.

David Bailey edged Texas Tech probably can go to one on the crowd and go two, probably go three, but I have him here fall into eight. I mentioned earlier, I was mistaken and as I said about Chase Young, I was thinking about something else, Bailey, Chase Young, Let's go get the quarterback. That defense played pretty good last year. No Lie, and I like, what potentially what they can do uh with this, with this this front four and David Bailey, as he was one of the best players

in the class. Chiefs number nine set them sack so on Monsieur Delaine, but he is gone. So they go Jamal McCoy out of Tennessee, recovering from an a c L injury last season. But they need help. They got rid of They got rid of Sneak a couple of years back. You trade, you trade a corner to the Rams for a lot of money. You won't gonna pay him. You lost your other star in cornerback in Julie Watson, So you need corn. I'm sorry, you got to. You got to cover somebody. So this is where Jared McCoy

comes off the board. Number ten. Giants. You know they say you shouldn't draft safeties that high. Everyone to call it. But Caleb Downs goes here from Ohio States. So now you have Sunny Staffs and Kale Downs, two versatile players on the defense, and we'll worry about We'll worry about offense later. Giants, you got the potentially might sign with to Beckham h you can go get a running back later. Uh old line needs some work, but we can work on that later. Let's go get studs. And now the

defense is going to be very impressive. After after what you draft last year, we drive this year. So I have the I have the Giants going killb Downs. Dolphins in a rebuild mode. If you're gonna play, if you're gonna pay the league Willis's money, can you give him an option? Can you give him an option? And there's go Mikayle Lemon out of USC receiver weird combine, but hey, the man is good so and and is he instantly the number one? Yes? So if you were in a

dynasty league, he go to Dolphins. Whoever go Dolphins? Here is at receiver? Is the pick? Mkayle Lemon showed his ability at at USC. I was I'm a big fan. I think he is number two behind Cornel Tate. He's to me, he's better than Jordan Tyson, who is still on the board. He may not have the elite size or the top end speed, but he's tough, right. He's your libel. He gets to the catch point when you need it to. He consistently shows up to the job.

And at this point, Dolphins, you need somebody who's gonna come be Alibel and McCallum is the guy. All right. The Cowboys here, man, they waited a long time at pick twelve, and they get Ruby Bain Edge out of Miami, a k a t rex arms just like his twin brother in another world, Desmond Bane. I think the Cowboys their best knees are edge and linebacker. Pair something up with quinnin Williams. They had something going with that. So let's let's add Rubin Bain, a stud in the draft.

Here you go at number thirteen, the Rams via Falcons. This trade came along for the of the trade last season where the Falcons draft pick may go to jail anyway. Rams I got them taking Omar Cooper, the receiver who caught the passes from the Howson winner in In Mendoza. I'm going Marik Cooper Jr. I don't know, man, I like him size right after the catch with DeVante, Adams is gonna be leaving next year, probably just because of dude to the age and all that kind of stuff.

You need somebody who has the who can be a immediate starter if need to be with the pooka situation, can play the inside out game, can move, you can Mitch mix and match him in the three receiver set, and I think he fits seamlessly. And when you have Stafford, you have McVeigh. All things, All things are great. So let's go to number When we had number fourteen, you going to the Ravens. I got them getting Spencer Fino

tackle out of Utah. Obviously they need to partake Lamar Jackson and as he ages, I assume he's gonna be staying more pocket passery and Specifanu is one of the best tackles in the game. All right, fifteen, I got Bucks taking tight end of Oregon. Let's just talk about let's just talk about the tight end game. Get Baker more options. You lost Mike Evans, who was a big target.

Let's get Baker Mayfield another big target in Sadiq who's got got the speed, especially for his position, reliable starter, stood potential, could be hopefully a better cow Pits, that's what you hope. But even though he might not be as good as Tyler warn or maybe not as good as Loveling, but from an athletic standpoint, he smoked them runner four to three nine at the come by on time record. Just an explosive athlete, and I think that gives that target to Baker where he lose in Mike

Evans number number sixteen. The Jets via coats for the sauce Gardner. They get Jordan, they get Jordan Tyson here a receiver Arizona State earlier they took a need an edge to take another lead here and receiver at the At the end of the day, you have to give Garrett Wilson some help. You have to give the quarterback the option to who is going to pass the ball to? And I think Jordan Tyson, even though he has the

issues big receiver, can't really go wrong. Gary Watson should obviously gonna demand double teams, but hopefully somebody like Jordan Tyson will leave pressure. Number seventeen, we go another tackle. Monroe feeling out of Georgia not too much here. But the Lions had a good offensive line and yet is cracking down, going getting worse and worse and worse each each and every year, just due to age. And you know,

Frank Ragnar retirement, Decker retire. Obviously you still got one of the best in Snoo Puell well, but at some point you have to keep getting better and have to keep protecting Jered golf as he's one of the most stationary quarterbacks in the league, and people can find the blueprint blits him up the middle and he struggled, So you have to go get Monroe Feeling here to help out on that line. My Minnesota Vikings Harris A. Smith is pondering retirement and it was cut for money purposes.

Of course, if he comes back, he comes back. But I'm going Vikings here. But with Cooper of the board, with Tyson off the board, limit off the off the board, I'm going uh, Kaden Proctor Alabama, another BAMA product, giving somebody really big to protect them, and I think Bracejon is gonna be very happy with that selection. It's the linebacker out of Georgia. I don't know if this is really a reach here, but outside of Sunday styles, a linebacker like star Power goes down a little bit. Cowboys could trade back here. They could pick up a corner here, but with with uh, with uh who I said earlier, with McCoy, with the lane off the board, you got somebody like Colton Hood on the on the board. But I think maybe Allen might be the better option here,

just to give them that rangy linebacker that they desperately need. Steelers, I'm going Iona, the guard out of Penn State, probably the best lineman in the class if I if I put my money on it. However, guards do not get paid like tackles unless you're quitting Nelson, right, But I think Steelers need this help. Like I said, this is building for the future. You don't have a quarterback here. You have to protect. You have to protect, you have to protect. You got the you got DK Metcalf, You're

building the offense. Let's protect. Let's get some protection up front. Chargers. Man, they had a lot of directions. They can go inside, inside, lineman, edge, defensive line, d back. Ultimately, he went TJ. Parker here. I think t J. Parker one of the best players in the UH one of the best players that kind of fell off. He was probably protected the top ten pick prior to the season and then kind of fell

off here. But I got him going to the Chargers and that'll that'll help boost that defense up even more than it was last year with the loss of my mentor Eagles. Another tackle Blake Miller Again, this team, just like the Lions, they're getting older, older and older and older. We have to protect, protect, protect, So keep that in mind. In this draft, the first round is gonna be a lot of un sexy picks, and Blake Miller is one

of them. Out of Clemson Browns. This is the trade from UH Travis Hunter where they thought it gonna be the top ten potentially. No, it was at the bottom of the first round. Browns took their receiver early. Gotta go Kall Luma, another tackle from Utah. Again protect, protect, protect. We gave him some options to throw the ball too, and then we had to protect. Whether that's Rah Drew Sanders, Shaun Wasahston, etc.

ain't a receiver. Yes, Buffalo got Mike Evans. That is not enough. We can't we My favorite thing to do as a GM, especially in football when you have multiple positions. Now you're bringing somebody else who can help on the edge front, apply pressure, start to run, and all those kind of necessary things that forty niners need to get back to doing. You know I'm gonna be a Homer and Brandon a Sister out of South Carolina cornerback there they got a couple of edge guys Ay Young, Cash Howell and then the number two running back Price who played behind Jeremi.
