Speaker 1

All right, oh hello, hello ladies, man, Greatlco.

Speaker 2

Yeah, well what is this ship? Uh? People with jobs?

Speaker 3

People with our job you know, graand will get mad at me for messing it up, But who cares.

Speaker 2

He's not here, correct, I'm not.

Speaker 4

I'm not even gonna say that. He already got me for trying to do that. Broh, Yes, sir, you guys wait, you go ahead?

Speaker 2

Sorry?

Speaker 3

Nah bro like we are here. We are here for the a E W All out post show. I'm here then Waco Kids, Son of mar is gonna score, son of Mars. Uh, I'm here with Kujoe. That guy over there, he's just the voice box today. He's just like Kane. When can you said a thing to put on the side of the neck to talk like that?

Speaker 2

That's Pool Joe today. How you doing through, Joe?

Speaker 4

I'm doing good man. I really enjoyed the pay per view for what it was. Still got a lot of time left on my Saturday night, so I'm pretty happy about that. How are you feeling that?

Speaker 1

Bro?

Speaker 2

I am great. I am fantastic.

Speaker 3

I am better than what I thought I was gonna be because, like when I saw ten Matthews, Ten Matthews is a very very daunte schedule and I don't usually either been on an AW post show in a long, long long time.

Speaker 2

But I love the show. It was a great show, paced very well.

Speaker 3

They did what they had to do, and the guy, they got me hooked, bro, I mean they already got me hooked, but you know what I mean, Like I was like, yo, yes, I was like this is this is it? Like there's quite a few matters on this card where I was like, okay, like this this is wrestling, bro, Like this is what it's all about.

Speaker 4

Yeah. Yeah, So we got a split house here today at Public Enemy tolf of Us will be covering the all Out post Show or the All Out Show, and then the other half will be covering Russell Paluza later. Do you feel like you made the right choice on what show you picked to watch today?

Speaker 3

I made the right choice one hundred percent because I saw some of the matches on Russell Palooza and I'm not gonna go into that because we're here to talk about AW.

Speaker 2

But if you watch this show, you know you have watched.

Speaker 3

The superior show for your day, like you have got like the bank for you, but forty dollars this was definitely worth forty dollars and a little bit more if you bought, if you if you went through HBO Max to the purchases, you got your money's worth two three times over.

Speaker 4

Absolutely. Well, with that being said, let's get right into it. The first match of the night, of course, had to start out with Adam Copeland and Christian Cage versus a team of FTR. What were your thoughts on this match?

Speaker 3

Ben from the beginning, nostalgia, nostalgia, nostalgia.

Speaker 2

And that's not always a bad thing.

Speaker 3

Like sometimes like we get into like these nostalgia fits where we bring back any and everybody to have like a match to do, like the little things they used to do a long time ago.

Speaker 2

And but this right here.

Speaker 3

They had they knew just enough what to do because they already got it together for the match they had at the last show.

Speaker 2

And this one was like, it was great.

Speaker 3

It was about eighteen minutes five seconds from start to finish, like it looked like hope and and it like Hope and Christian didn't miss a beat.

Speaker 2

It looked like they had like they had reunited.

Speaker 3

And I guess with that, like since like what twenty elevens last time the team together, I.

Speaker 4

Think so, I don't know because he like retired then I don't think they formally tagged team or anything.

Speaker 3

But I think they said twenty eleven if I'm not mistaken, they said twenty eleven.

Speaker 2

But you know, it is what it is.

Speaker 3

We won't concern ourselves with fasts and what's talking about wrestling. This shit has made up as we go along anyway. But yeah, this match, like they had like all the ship in it, like uh they had they had Edge.

Speaker 2

Doing a whole tribute to John Cen. Did you see that it? Yeah?

Speaker 4

I did. I thought it was really well done. Maybe it was because it was done in the aw ring versus like a reverse situation of John c f and image to Edge, but yeah, it was a really nice moment. And there's another spot too where he hit the prettier for the kill switch and Christian hit the spear on FTR, So I thought that was really neat too.

Speaker 3

But continue, yeah, man, like with the with the Edge, Like I think the Edge was doing that because John Cena hit the spear and like his master Sammy's and a few weeks ago, like if there was ever someone they wanted like that would be willing to cross back over to hit for that giant. Seeing them atter, I think Edge would be the one that they would let back over there. But you know, contracts, rival promotions like

it is what it is. And this is why I say, like this whole like oh ae W versus w W thing, it's only with the company. It is only with like the people who are like the heads of these companies, because these talents, they don't give a fuck about no brand war.

Speaker 2

They don't care about no oh you want to show you on that show.

Speaker 3

They texting each other all the time, they're hanging out with each other, they call each other on the phone. They don't care about none of this. The only people that care about this are people find the checks. And I get that, and I completely get that, but that's me and.

Speaker 2

Show that too.

Speaker 4

Yeah yeah she did she uh pulled up Beth Copeland, I guess, or you can call her right now, but yeah, pulled up. They I mean they still call her Beth. But I've just seen people say Beth Copeland and I'm still trying to get used to that.

Speaker 2

To me, there you go, it's still real to me.

Speaker 4

That's still a glad soon. But yes, so stokely what was up? Man packed this ass up got him at at there and yeah, Adam and uh Christian got the win. U really surprised me that you said it was eighteen minutes because it didn't really feel like that.

Speaker 3

I don't know if that's like that's the time I got off of Wikipedia. I don't know if this was like if they count like the entrances or what. But it had like like with the Shenanigans and things like that in there, like the spot with Bath, like the like the little painting amage to each other. And also like FTR was like cooking in the ring too, like

all like the little like the everything in between. That match was like like it was sandwich in between, like two pieces of nostalgia and just like pure wrestling in the middle of FTR, they did they did the thing.

Speaker 2

This match.

Speaker 3

This match was like, yes, they're like, uh damn near twenty minutes. But it was good. It's one of those it's one of those where it's like it doesn't feel like it because you're having a fun time.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 4

Absolutely, And I feel like there was a perfect way to open up the show, you know, with two Toronto boys, you know, just doing their thing. You know, everybody still really appreciates them. Not so much about Phoenix because she got absolutely destroyed by FTR with that spike file driver near the end. Wow, safe to say this feud is not over. But the next match we had on all Out this evening was the return of the Matt king Eddie Kingston a big bill or your thoughts on this match?

Speaker 3

Ben this if you watch, like if you're in a different sports like outside of wrestling and stuff like that, we.

Speaker 2

Call it a yet right game. This is the get like but this is a get right match.

Speaker 3

This is what you get like when you're like, Okay, I haven't been here for a while, Like last time I was here, I was losing. So this is the match that It's a tune up match basically, And we talked about it on this week's show. I mean, we go check that out where we speculated like its Eddie Kingston's gonna do anything different? Is he gonna come out, is he gonna have it? Is he gonna be built different? Like like no, he was not built different? Like like, bro, he's like I said, he's forty.

Speaker 2

Something years old. What's the point. What's the use of changing your body?

Speaker 3

Type and doing all this stuff and hot and stuff like teaching the dog the traits or whatever.

Speaker 2

When you when you're like you this far to the game.

Speaker 3

But I thought this was a fun little match, not really a whole lot to it.

Speaker 2

It was.

Speaker 3

It was more or less what I thought it was going to be. Just like Eddie Kingston just be like, look, I'm back. I need to solid like a little match, put or win, put me over to get me on the right track. Do you have any like in depth thoughts about this match or were you just thinking the same?

Speaker 4

Yeah, I mean it was what it was. I think Eddie got a really great reaction and he came back, you know what I'm saying, Like, I don't really think they could have done anything more extraordinary than what they had on this match. You know, it's like a regular like TV match, if you will. But it was a good spot for Eddie.

Speaker 1

You know.

Speaker 4

I'm just glad to see him back after they said four hundred and ninety seven days it's the last time that he had a match, and yeah, man, he looks really good. Even though his body type is like a topic of discussion that be coming up. I think if he wasn't a little fat, he would lose his aura, you know what I'm saying, Like, that's what makes Eddie Eddie, you know, like a little bit of.

Speaker 3

It right, Like you didn't see Samoa Joe with the gout or Kevin Owens or whatever, you'd be like, I know, Kevin Owens slimmed down a little bit, but it's still like, yo, that's where the aura comes from, like what you said?

Speaker 4

Yeah, absolutely, And yeah they had a little postmatch beat down. Bran Keith wasn't so happy that his homie Big Bill was match and then boom the Hook signal the Batman of New York. How are we feeling about? Yeah? Yeah, man, I would have to agree. I don't know if we get a full time like tag team with Hook and Eddie Kingston moving forward forward to defend the honor of

New York. But yeah, a pretty solid piece of business here, nothing too crazy, which is the opposite of the next match we have right here.

Speaker 3

Oh yeah, by the way, that match was That match was seven minutes twenty seconds.

Speaker 4

Way next we have Mark Brisco versus m j F and the Tables and tax match. What are your thoughts on this one?

Speaker 1

Then?

Speaker 3

Bro, this one I didn't have like a whole lot of stock in this match, And that's my fault for not really believing like that.

Speaker 2

That's on me, Shame on me.

Speaker 3

But this was a really solid match, especially for like the like the stipulation that like that like we were like we were going into the match.

Speaker 2

I didn't know if it was like put your opponent through.

Speaker 3

A table or whatever, but they say the rules during the match that it was like a pinfall or submission. But they really showed out with the task like like starting off the match like strong where Mark Risco was like just lay just poured them all out, was like, hey bro getting the ring, you are't no time?

Speaker 4

Yeh yeah? And would I would say that's probably the most amount of thumb tacks I've ever seen in the match, like like bags and bags of that ship. But yeah, like it was really man that that was probably one of my favorite matches in the night. I would have to say, like just this gear alone, Mark Risco has really shown that he belongs exactly where he is, you know, on every spot on every pay per view, and MGEP was really locked into I know there's always like a

debate on whether or not he really like phones. It in or if he really, you know, is into it, but you could tell in this match that was really focused and you know, like the typical like healed stuff that he does was really great here and just man, those spots were just really brutal this whole match, Like every back body drop, every slam, every like you know, use of the thumb tacks was really just creative, I have to say, and just really added to the story

of like, hey man, like MJ, have you've been kind of talking crazy about my bro that is dead. You know what I'm saying, Like I gotta get minds, And that's exactly what Mark did. So shame on us for doubting him.

Speaker 2

But yeah, man, yo, that's on me.

Speaker 3

But I'm like I didn't think that they were gonna let Mark Risco get the get the win because this is like been the story that's happened like like a few times. Like they're like, okay, put him in a high profile match with someone who's clearly like you know, not to be the respectable but like kind of like above him, like on the total pole, and normally he has to do a very good showing. He almost gets there, and it's just like right at the last second, the

rubs pulled out from under him. But MJF as like it's already been said that he was pushing for this match and pushing for this rivalry to happen, especially to get this match on the show. So for him to put over Mark Brisco was really like it was really good because Mark Brisco is like, like I just said, he's like just always like banging his head on that ceiling like and this kind of puts him up above because like, yo, he this MJF is, he's the longest raining a W champion, right I believe?

Speaker 4

So yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3

You like you just had this guy beat the longest raining a W champion and have this like great showing even though it is like a Noah's Bard nos Quad K match. Who gives buck he had he just beat this guy and MJF doesn't look weak like taking this lost.

Speaker 2

Because it's a.

Speaker 3

It's a like a special match or whatever like. And also he had a match last night in CMLL, so he has been working like MJF like like when you said, sometimes it feels like, you know, is he really interested in this or is he just like phoning it in?

But lately like he's been on a tear, like between going to Mexico doing a w he's been doing, getting his acting in, Like he is really like hitting on all cylinders, like he is definitely like showing Aw why he's worth the money and why he was worth all of like the you know everything that they went through to resign him. So like this match definitely one of the better matches, Like definitely one of my favorite matches

on the show. Like if she said like they did, they were finding all different types of ways to use the thumb tax thumb tacks on the chair, thumb tacks on the table, like all of it.

Speaker 2

I love it.

Speaker 4

Yeah, absolutely everything about this was just incredible. I would not mind, you know, going back and rewatching this here very soon again. But speaking of good investments in good business, we are turning over to the Hurt Syndicate versus Ricochet and g o A, now known as the Demand. How are we feeling about this one?

Speaker 3

I'm gonna start off with the name change, Like what was Yates of Agony? Gates of Agonies is a much better, Like I know that was their tagging name.

Speaker 2

I think they could have just adopted that.

Speaker 3

But the Demand, I'm like, just how kind of like, you know, kind of generic. For me, I'm not mad at them getting the official name, but the Demand sounds kind of generic.

Speaker 2

This was like this match was cool, like it was.

Speaker 3

It was what it was, and I like the story that they told was MVPs still wants to get back in the ring. He still wants to do his thing, he still wants to prove I can wrestle with the young people. And during this match, it was like he had his moments where it was like you know what I mean that that video was like I'm still got it. Yeah, yep, he had his moments in a match where he was it was definitely like Okay, I'm still got it.

Speaker 2

But later on when he started when they started.

Speaker 3

Working on his knees and everything like that, it was pretty evident like okay, but like now like I don't got it right now, like he needs help.

Speaker 4

Yeah, it was. It was a great match. Honestly, Like I'm I'm a pretty big fan of the trios matches that they have here in aw and again, like the pearing of Ricochet and g Oe or the Demand I

guess you'll call him now versus the Hurt Syndicate. I thought their styles like clash, but they also like don't in a way like you have your big guys Totallyona, you got your Bobby last Lee, you got your agile guys, you got your Ricochet's, your Shelton's, you know, shout out to Shelton Benjamin especially, like.

Speaker 2

Oh my god, he is a demon.

Speaker 4

Every time he steps in that ring, he always turns it on.

Speaker 1

Man.

Speaker 4

He is incredible and I cannot sing his princess enough. But Ricochet looked really good in this match. Big win for kN and toy Leona. The matchself again, like it was just like big spot after big spot, move after move, suplake up to sup plex, just.

Speaker 3

A double suit, that double German suplex that that Shelton Benjamin hit was like I was like, okay, like he's really really about this, like like he's one of those guys like he didn't get all the shine in the world in w and then when he went to Japan, like that's when I like really I was like, oh,

like you really like that. And I mean I've seen his matchs from like like when I'm growing up, like on Raw and on SmackDown and then that stiff that he had and he's up you where I was like, okay, well, like I know you can move, but it wasn't Intelli Japan.

When I was older and I could really set eyes on what he was doing, I was like, oh, he really liked that, and it's it's a breath of fresh air because like when he when he left WW, when he got released, I was like, damn, bro, he has so much left to offer and now get seeing him get like this second like win in ae W and put on matches like this because he was all over the place in this match he was this was like really just like him showing out, like there was a

spot where he just like hits like this, like like crazy like me, like when he jumped through when he jumped on top of the chair, that sup like spot, Like he was going crazy in the match. But for me, this this, uh, this whole story just revolved around just like MVP trying to keep up with his younger counterparts and prove like oh he could, I could still do it. And then after uh they lost and he took the pen. Yep, yeah,

he took he took the pen. And even like after that, like they're like the way they're looking at Ricochet of the Demand I'll call I still got to use for that. Like him looking at the demand where they were staying in the ring. You can see it in his eyes. He like, bro, I gotta get some young lifeblood back into this like end of the group, because I can't be out here like putting my livelihood.

Speaker 2

On the line. It was my bro, like, yo, I walked. I've been walking with a cane since I got here.

Speaker 4

And he broke it over Ricochet's back last week. So it's like damn, like I really got to chill out up.

Speaker 2

So you know, my man need a walker.

Speaker 3

He's gonna need a walker with the little like tennis balls on the on the bottom of it.

Speaker 4

Not too much or uk now, but you're gonna You're gonna move on to the next match. It was the triple threat for the AEW Unified Championship, uh to Catch the versus Kazuko Kata at Mascara the Rada. How did we How would you feel about this match?

Speaker 1

Oh?

Speaker 2

This match funny? I think it was me. Let me look, this match was twenty one minutes flat. Bro. This was like I said it like on the show.

Speaker 3

I said before, like not to be before, but I said, like this one was gonna probably be my match to night and for what they did in the ring and story wise, like this was to me. It wasn't the match of the night, but it was the story of the night, the ongoing story of the night because we saw Tkeshka and Okada clash and every time they were they every time like they were in the ring together. It was like we're trying to you know, we're trying to we kind of put you, We're trying to do one up on each.

Speaker 2

Other, like Maman Doorado, mamandorata.

Speaker 3

Like he they basically try to make him an afterthought in the match he did like he was cooking too, like but the story was definitely between Ocada and the Keshka and just seeing like okay, like you trying you try to be the new wanted to replace me, like saying like you try to be the one to replace me, like I'm not going nowhere, don't here if you wont the g one or not, bro, Like we're not like throwing me off the mountain.

Speaker 4

Yeah, And what I really liked about this match was it didn't really seem like Okada was threatened by Takeshta whatsoever and not to be like oh, Tekesha is a f luke, or he's like somebody to look over. But you could see in his expressions how frustrated and angry he was at Okada this like this whole match. You know, he's like maybe he feels like he isn't at that level yet, or it's like why are you trying to butt heads? I mean when I'm on my rise and

stuff like that. But yeah, man, they both brought it. Takesha is an incredible wrestler. We already knew that Okada is a great wrestler. We already knew that there's been talk about him like kind of phoning it in in multiman matches, but I didn't really see any of that here, and Mosca Dorada was a perfect candidate to kind of like glue everything together where we can extend the storyline between Takeshta and Okada of like, okay, who is don Kyala is gonna pick who's gonna break out next? Where

does Takesha go from here? Given that Okada was the one that pinned uh Derada in this match, Yeah.

Speaker 3

Like, to me, Takeshka is has like the biggest upside, like when it comes to like talent like young talent and the roster for like for me, it's like for talent that's available right now, it's like younger town just like has like that can you could put the company on their back like and if you like in the next years to come, it's like he's one A Kyle Fletcher is like a like two a like yo, Like they're right there like neck and neck for me, like for who can like be the next like like head

of like the company and who they can like put the like put the rocket on their back and let them like like wave the flag for the company like they're like they're to me, those are the top two. But Okada for phoned and then for multi man matches at this feel like sometimes I feel like Okada to me reminds.

Speaker 2

Me a lot of like Randy Orton.

Speaker 3

Like Randy Orton when when he's interested in something, you can tell he's interested in it, like he will sell, he will pull out moves that he hasn't done, a long time. He will make you look good, he will do what he has to do. But when he's not interested, you get what you get. But for this match, like you could definitely tell Okada was definitely one of the percent locked into this.

Speaker 2

I think like like even.

Speaker 3

Though like uh like we haven't we haven't seen it on screen, but I know like he looking at to Ketch because like, yo, you're you're going to be the next one, like this is like this is for like you're gonna be the one to take the to take the ball and keep running with it because he won the G one this year, And I know they mentioned that they're like yos probably for Okada. They're like Okada probably mad because Ketcha won the G one and the tas like bruh, I kind of won it like four.

Speaker 2

Times, so I don't really think he gives yeah.

Speaker 4

And speaking of tournaments, like the perfect place I would say for Takesha to earn his right to face Okada in a one on one is if he won the Continental Classic. So we'll see if that ends up happening. But what did happen? Finally, after about a year or so of a tease, we have Mercedes fun Day versus Rijo for the TVs Championship. What do we think?

Speaker 2

This?

Speaker 4

To me?

Speaker 3

Like this match was sixteen minutes flat of just like just showcase like with Mercedes and Rio, like you said as a one year tease. We got to see them just like hat like just like Shine Out, like showed that show off their like better moves and stuff like that and try to one up each other.

Speaker 2

They had. It was a really good technical match. It was fine.

Speaker 3

They had some spots for the outside, Like I really thought the the spot where uh what was it where Rio was like trying to do some shit to the outside and say these monate pools the aprons.

Speaker 2

She's like, Bro, I'm not doing this shit no more with you like this. Yeah.

Speaker 3

Uh, I just want like for me, I just want them to have real around a little bit longer, because you know, Rio has some like dips in like her showings, like she might not like and she's always like welcomed by the crowd. They love her whenever she comes through. But it's like, bro, like I like you kind of need to be around more.

Speaker 2

Bro, Yeah, you feel.

Speaker 4

Like something is still missing ever since she came back.

Speaker 3

Yeah, Like for me, like it's all like it's about consistency.

Speaker 2

And I said this on like the this week's show, we.

Speaker 3

Were talking about Andre Day and everything going on with him, Like you gotta be around consistently for me to like latch on, Like I think it's cool for Real to pop up whenever she wants to. I'm never gonna turn down a real match, but you're like, I just need you to be around consistently because there are a lot of women that are on the roster that could benefit

from a match with Rio or rivalry or Real. Like, like I said, she knows what she's doing in the ring, but this match was more so about like Mercedes like showing off, like, Yo, you can bring on like wherever you want to bring on, Like like I'll pack them up, like I'm not dropping this TVs title, Like she lost the Tony Storm a while ago. It's like, Yo, I'm not coming up off this belt, bro, this one right here, I'm not coming up off this belt.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 4

And what I really liked about this match was like it was a rare instance of Mercedes being the bigger wrestler. Like it's very rare that Mercedes is one towering over somebody and being the powerhouse of a match, and that's exactly what she was here. And like this win was like the first pinfall wining like a long time where it felt like she was really dominant. You know, she used the money Maker finisher instead of you know, using a roll up or whatever other creative way to you know,

keep her championship. She wasn't so desperate here, you know. And what we got was again, like you said, like a sixteen minutes of the showcase from both Rio and Mercedes. You know, like nothing felt slow in this match, but it also didn't feel too fast either, Like everything was just like perfect about it. Really good pace and really good action.

Speaker 2

Yeah.

Speaker 3

I wanted to say that, like nothing crazy like spots recorded again, they would get in it active when it came to submissions, it came to the technical stuff. But this this match was cool, like it was. It wasn't too late, when too hot, when too cold. It was just like, you know, it's like it's like a good show.

Speaker 2

Yeah.

Speaker 4

So with that being said, the next match that we have did not end by pinfall, as it was the coffin match between John Moxley and Darby Alan and I guess I would go first on this one, just to give you a little break, I'm saying, just going back

and forth. But yeah, I thought this match was really cool, very violent, you know, as expected between a match with Darby and mox The ending really surprised me because like usually when a wrestler has like a match, a signature match, you know, like they just never lose those type of matches. And Moxley, you know, shocking us all or surprising us all, brought back Pock to help him get the victory here, and I thought that was pretty cool too, bros back

with like short hair that way. Barrett came out for a minute. I'm not even gonna lie, oh, but yeah, man, Like there was some pretty brutal spots think here, just like the I'm sure you have the Mark Crisco match earlier. It. Yeah, they're just kind of freaky in there, you know, just like biting each other, all this blood, you know, kissing each other and whatnot. You know, typical drum. I love that,

you know, like like Max is insane. He was like, yeah, I'll do that, and I'll still like absolutely destroy you in there, so you know, it's all love. And there is a postmatch angled to not a postmatch, but there was like a segment where the death writers had left Max and Darby came back from the dead and lit Moxley on fire. I don't know if you saw.

Speaker 2

That, but yeah, I saw that.

Speaker 3

Like you see like a little a little Marvel post credits scene like that. That was cool because, like you said, the match like they would definitely like tearing each other up. Like uh, they started the match off in the crowd like literally like thirty seconds like probably a minute, like probably minute.

Speaker 2

That happened as the match. Darby is the coffin drop off of like the balcony I don't.

Speaker 3

Know if you called the balcony or whatever. Like he is the coffin drop off of this hit. And they just start running through the crowd and just start cooking like with all that ship, like with the like with the spots like they had, like uh, Darby brought out the fort he was biting.

Speaker 2

He's biting that man's ear. He's like, yo, I gotta lose the ear or you gotta lose the ear.

Speaker 3

Bro, Like we might like this tit for tad bro S thing was definitely tell him like hey, Bro, like I didn't I didn't destroy well, I wasn't putting I was putting nw ogs in the ground, just like letting them get the ship off on me.

Speaker 2

Bro, Like you got to get him back.

Speaker 4

Yeah, And the there's a moment, there's the moment in the match to where Brian Danilson didn't exactly get involved, but he uh revealed to Darby the plastic bag that was used to choke him out. So I thought that was a good piece of war right there. But again that just wasn't enough. There's always one death writer lurking in the shadows whenever you think they're not. So it's good to see pop pack Man he as them to destroy Darby with that crucifix moment to the outside that was.

Speaker 2

Right onto the caste. That ship is nasty.

Speaker 4

Bro. Oh my god, you ain't gotta do that.

Speaker 2

Bro.

Speaker 3

I'm like, bro for real, like like bro, like you need some money, bro, Like.

Speaker 2

What is it about? Who do you owe?

Speaker 4

Well, we owe it to all of the haters of Chris Statlander absolutely nothing, because the next match we have is the ae W Women's World Championship or away between Fireless, Tony Storm, Jamie Hayter, Chris stat Lander, Tecla and as as said and knew a e W Women's World Champion for Statlander, I thought this match was yeah, I picked stat No.

Speaker 2

Oh man, y'all nah you and gram fully ship bro?

Speaker 4

Yeah, we bro, don't even I picked for Statlander because I knew it was time.

Speaker 2

You know, it's time that you got a feeling you just had a sixth sense about this.

Speaker 4

I got you like da you know, he pulled up like who invited bro?

Speaker 2

But he pulled up.

Speaker 4

He was like a Chris like, come on, bro, like you gotta use the same move that you used the last time you won the TVs title or.

Speaker 2

Whatever it was TBS title.

Speaker 4

Uh yeah, Like I don't know. It was a shock victory honestly, the way it all came together. But matches so was really well structured. I know sometime like wrestlers, when they're put in a four way position, it can kind of get clunky really fast. But everybody here got their spots, and everybody looked really good, looked really strong. Jamie Hayter hasn't missed a beat, really glad to seek her back wrestling. And in the title picture, Tekla I

thought wasn't really bad either. And yeah, Chris Statlander and Tony Storm is still as great as they've always been. I really like the interweaving parts of this match where everybody kind of was like had their own like one on one beef with each other for a little bit and yeah again we have a new aw Women's World champion and Chris Stat. It's been four years since she competed for that championship, so war crazy. This was a really great time to pull the trigger. I love Tony's reaction.

I've her just being like not upset, not angry, just like this disbelief, like literal disbelief, like damn, this woman really did that thing.

Speaker 3

The son of a bitch, you know fags like the like the whole like the match, like would you say, like yo, sometimes get clunky. I really like the spot where Tecla was like hitting them like suplexus, like when she had Yeah, I love it for me, like they like she was like she was cooking, like you said, everybody got to hit like their own little spot, had their own little thing. But yeah, this is one of them, like shock or of the Night, Like I did not

think Stat was gonna win. Why I picked Tony Storm and the Max Like the way the matter was set up, like the way the Masters set up, the way the match was going, Like I was like, okay, what is going for the safe option? Put it on Tony because this lead up like they had no pompous circumstance whatsoever. Tony has just been doing her thing, like not focused on like any like rival, like main rival or whatever.

Speaker 2

She's been having like matches and stuff like that.

Speaker 3

She had a match with like Skyblue, and she's like been doing like fun stuff like over the last month. And since this match had no build, that's why I picked Tony. I was like, Okay, if they're gonna put tit on someone else, it'll probably be in a one on one situation a little bit more build. But since this was thrown together and the way that the mattress

going because this match is quick. This match was eleven minutes fifty five seconds, and like you could tell that like they were doing they were trying to get their stuff in, but you could tell they were kind of racing to the.

Speaker 2

Finish, like if that makes sense, like they were trying to a little bit.

Speaker 3

Yeah, it just felt like they were like, okay, like we're trying to get through this so we get out of the show over by the time, well at least the main event by the time, like Russell Balsa either like starts or whatever. And I mean they didn't, I mean, they they failed that mission, but you know, like it was still a great match.

Speaker 2

It's still like a really great show.

Speaker 3

But I'm just like very much interested to see what they do with Chris Statlander from here, Like.

Speaker 2

Is she gonna join uh? Is she going to join the Death Riders? Is she down with them?

Speaker 3

Because, like, like you said, you'd have popped up at the beginning of the match giving her advice, they've been kind of scouting her and trying to get her into the group of persuader to get Do you think that she gets in the group or do you think it's one of those situations where it's like, okay, like, hey, you want to join?

Speaker 2

She turns with that and that's speaking with the group. Now.

Speaker 4

I think Youdah's gonna get punished. I think that Chris is definitely like, hey, like I'm the champion now, I really don't need y'all group. I don't need any of this, you know. But you never know, Like she's kind of going through like the Bailey arc where it's like, okay, like this week she's friends with Willow, this week she's not. But I think at the end of the day she'll be okay, but da will not, especially now that Pod is back in the picture and DG in the picture too.

They're like all right, like why do we really need you to exactly? I think they're gonna bleed him. But but that being said, the next match that we have on the duck, it is the ADW World Tag Team Championship four way ladder match between the Young Bucks, Brogado, Jet Speed and Hedge Sero and Josh Alexander on the don Kallis Family. What were your thoughts on this match?

Speaker 3

Ben, This was like a fun kyler cleanser before the main event. I thought it was like I thought it'd be really cool and really like funded, like the things that they did with the Young Bucks, Like the Young Bucks bought back their entrance even like it might be for one night, spent that five thousand dollars the guy on the tyro and on the music and on the name place and everything like that. And then they had in like a little like note that they have on like the entrance a full and his.

Speaker 2

Money are soon parted. Uh. This was a really fun match.

Speaker 3

Jet Speed really showed why they're like one of the premier tag teams of AEW right now. Like I really would like I picked Jet just be the win, and I really think like because their time is coming soon. That's if like MVP don't try to scout him for the fro the Earth send Kid. But like I think if they if they stay, if they stay together, their time will definitely be coming soon as like champions to

carry on like this next wave. I didn't think that, uh bro I didn't think Brodido would like would would get to win only because they are a makeshift tag team. Like usually with like makeshift tag teams, they're like, okay, well, like we'll keep you together and the next time we can have like, oh, like a traditional tag team.

Speaker 2

We all kind of like pass the belts off to them.

Speaker 3

But I'm glad that they that they won the match because we get to like explore a little bit more time with them to see what they have to offer, because they.

Speaker 2

Are really they're a powerhouse team.

Speaker 3

Like this whole match, like uh uh Brody Brody King was just like he was just killing motherfuckers, Like he dropped speedball through a ladder. He was doing like all types of like crazy shit in this match. What do you think, Oh, yeah.

Speaker 4

This is really fun And I love the placement of it too, just being like right before the maybe event to pick people back up again if they were feeling a little fatigued. I got a credit Tony kond really for putting together so many makeshift tag teams and making them work. And at this point I would say that Mandido and Brodie King are not, you know, a makeshift tag team. I would say they are traditional.

Speaker 1

Now.

Speaker 4

You know, they got the match colors, they got the magic gears. You know, they got their entrance music. Like they're locked in now. You know they're Broddo and they're here to stay, you know what I mean. Like the aw tag Tan divisions really healthy right now. The young Bucks are creative as always in these ladder matches, showing why they're also veterans here. You know, Jet Speed, like you said, are the dynamic tag team that you know this Matt is their match, you know what I mean?

Like when they can do high flying stuff, you know, unique stuff with the ladders, that's where they really shine. And Josh Alexander and Hetchisaro, you know, I really love hetche Saro. Can't really say the same for Josh Alexander, but he ain't bad or anything. They did their think in there and again can't sing enough prisons for Brotito they've just been on fire, especially Bandito tearing it up

over there and bring up honor as well. And I just love the trope of having the big guy like Brodie King like defend his crowd against like a wave of just like a bunch of like smaller dudes just trying to like chip him down, and it's like, Nah, you ain't gonna like you're not gonna kill me, bro, Like it's not happening.

Speaker 3

One you said said yeah, definitely great match. Palate claims like you said, get get the crack hype back up. I'm definitely interested to see what Brodido has an attack and what they had to offer. I definitely can't wait to see them like have like a like a good little like run with the belts.

Speaker 2

But now it's time for the main event.

Speaker 1

Yes, sir.

Speaker 4

The main events of the evening for All Out is ADW World Championship, ADW World Champion hang Man Out of Page versus TNC Champion Kyle What Whatcher. What were your thoughts on this match, Ben.

Speaker 3

Bro This match like I'm I'm I'm not gonna lie to you. This match was thirty eight minutes long. I when I was watching it, I was like Damn. They going on for a long time.

Speaker 2

And I was like.

Speaker 3

Looking at us, watching the spots and everything that they had going on.

Speaker 2

They told like a wonderful story of Hangman.

Speaker 3

The story that they told in the ring was the story that they told for the last the police when they set this match up, like you are, Kyle Fletcher, like you are the future of this company, but the future is not right now, motherfucker, Like get put up back of the line like them they were. They were really showing out. Kyle Fletcher was showing off all of

his moves. He was showing off why he is the future of this company, why he is the lifeblood of this company, why he is in the position that he is in.

Speaker 2

Like he was doing what he he was doing everything that he could.

Speaker 3

But Hangman had to show like y'all brought it, like you're great, but I am just two steps ahead of you. Like they were really pulling out all the stops like they were trying. They were hitting like I think, uh, I think Hangman went for the for the one Winging Angel at one point in this match, like he hit the v trigger.

Speaker 2

Like bro, Like this match was incredible.

Speaker 3

And I thought that they were gonna like I thought this match would have been like a little bit like cut short because they were trying to like not go really head to head with Russell Paluza.

Speaker 2

But this match literally.

Speaker 3

Went through the first two matches of Wressel Paluza Like it started like ten minutes before Wressell Paluza and it didn't end like until like, uh probably maybe like.

Speaker 2

Twenty thirty minutes in.

Speaker 3

I had this match on like side by side during the Johant scene a brock legend match, and let me tell you something, bro I this this match makes that match look like a pile of dog shit, Like I like Graham and Graham and Gresh are gonna review Wressell Paluza like later on the night, but as far as like from for me and my thoughts on that opening match,

that was dog shit. This was immaculate, like thirty eight minutes of just youre just like wrestling, and this this was one of the matches that you're gonna come back to in one year, two years, three years, five years where you're gonna be like, Okay, that's the match where like Kyle Fletcher like solidified himself and like I like I loved it more.

Speaker 2

Your thoughts.

Speaker 4

Yeah, Kyle Fletcher, you know, I reiterate your thoughts like he is the future of the company. Obviouls say he's now the company in a different way that Hangman is. You know, he's still a TMT champion, but yeah, with this loss, he's gonna move forward with the bigger chip on his shoulder and he's gonna really show out, you know. And I can see that day where he will split from the Don Collis family and you know, really rise up and be his own star again. This match was incredible.

Hangman has been on fire when it comes to in ring work as always, and I really like the story of again, like Kyle Whatcher being the young brash one and Hangman being like, look like I been't where you are, Like you are not ready, and I'm gonna prove to you why you're not. And I think a lot of Hangman's opponents are forgetting, Like what they tend to forget is that this is a Hangman that's been through heaven back.

This is a man that literally burned another man's house down forgave him, you know, like went through all this emotional trauma just to get back to the championship, you know, what I'm saying dealing with the death writers, and this is a hangman that is not hesitant. This is a hangman that is like, I know, I gotta fire that shot. I gotta hit that buckshot and I'm gonna do everything that I can to hit it. And Kyle was just

not letting him hit that shit. He's like, you can deadie me all you want, You're not gonna get me.

Speaker 3

Oh I am a soccer air for or like when he goes for the dead eye and this is this is a spot they've done like in three different matches where like okay, well he's gonna go for the dead eye, but his opponent is just like so beat up that they involuntary, like involuntarily like fall and move out of the way, not because they're like oh I'm really like I'm really like that, and the gods the movies just like no, like you beat the shit out of me, like I can't I can't do anything, buttball, I can't

hold myself.

Speaker 2

Up any longer.

Speaker 3

And like you said, like he was hitting dead eyes like onto the table in the ring, off the top rope, like they were really like showcasing like yo, like like you always think like when you think of like hang man, like he's finishing anything like that, Like you always think of like, Okay, well he's gonna hit like the uh, he's gonna he's gonna hit that ship, like he's gonna hit the lariat, Like that's like what you think he's gonna go for. He's gonna hit the buckshot, But you

forget that he has the dead eye too. Like this really reminded me. I was like, he does have the dead he does a backup finisher.

Speaker 4

Yeah, And Kyle did a really great job of reminding people that, like, hey, like he does have the dead I but only because I'm not gonna let him hit

me with the bumpshot lariat. And I really just enjoyed that part of the story where like we had thirty eight minutes of the match and he did not hit that until it was definitively the finish and credits to Kyle too, just laying it in with those corner boots to the back of the head, to the front just repeatedly, over and over and over all those thrust kicks, all them brainbusters. Man, Like wow, just a really great performance again by Kyle Fletcher. Hey man is here to stay

as the face of the company. I'm excited to see what he has next. Do we have any closing thoughts for the main event and the overall show tonight?

Speaker 3

My closing thoughts for the main event is, like you hit the nail on the head. I like, like there's something's been wrestling where I'm just like I feel like an old man about it, you know, where I'm just like the champion.

Speaker 2

Should always enter last. Uh And when it.

Speaker 3

Comes to finishers, like I'm like, people kick out of finisher's way too much nowadays, the way they protect the way that they protected the buff shot lariat in this match, and the way that they protect the buck the buf shot lariot and other matches because normally when he hits the buck shot lariot, that shit is over. Like it's the same thing with Okada's with the rain Makers. If

I hit the rain Maker, this match is over. We're not hitting the rain Maker and like you're kicking out, We're doing that like like what we saw, Like I hate to keep talking about restlues, like on resolues, like I hit nine finishers and you still catch and you like you're still kicking out, Like I like when when they protect that shit. And I'm not always opposed to someone kicking at someone else's finisher, but when you do it, it has to mean something for me, you know what I mean?

Speaker 2

Right, So they really like still that with this match.

Speaker 3

It was like okay, well, like I'm like, you're not gonna hate that shit, Like I'm playing keep away for as long as I can because I know if you hit me with that shit, it is over. I'm gonna give my waiting of the match like one out of like we do one out of ten. I give this in eight point five.

Speaker 4

Yeah, I would agree, I would give it a little bit less like I would just give it a solid eight out of ten. All the matches were well paced, nothing felt too long, nothing felt too short. Maybe they may even but I kind of expected that. I'm glad that not every match was like that. Yeah, I instead like the action was all their stories were great. Again, AW just proving that this new deal that they have here on Max, like it was definitely worth the money

for anybody that bought the pay per view. And yeah, I mean AW is just kind of in a really good spiral now if they're not really like over the top way anything just yet but I'm excited for the next stop, which will be Wressell's Dream.

Speaker 3

Yeah one, the next time we come to you for an aw post show for Wrestle Dream, we like, like this was fun having two post shows everything like that.

Speaker 2

I think like we will next time we will stick to one post show.

Speaker 3

I mean, we want to have to do two post shows because there's like, oh, we're not gonna run any like rival like shows and tell like probably twenty six start back up again. But we'll cross that bridge and we get to it. I have nothing else to say.
