We all have expectations when we talk to people. We expect when we bring a problem, it will be addressed. But when the official came to Jesus he expected Jesus to come with him. Instead Jesus sends him on his way with a promise, "Your son will live." How often to we accept a promise instead of action? How often are our requests answered in ways we don't expect?
