He made a useful run and teed it up for a simply sensational finish. Welcome back to the national side, Jack Bonaventura. Hello and welcome back to our Spotlight. This is episode 96 and we are hosts Matt and Jake. It's been the international break for around a week now. So naturally we have nothing to talk to you guys about. So here we are with another interactive quiz. Exactly, it is October the 19th. So if you're listening to this in the future, things would have changed by then.
But it's interesting to see how things stand at the moment. Yes, correct. Our goal of the week from our intro was Jack Bonaventura's first goal for Italy against our beloved country of Malta. It was a spectacular goal and a great gun to lie. It did put a smile on my face. It's not often that a goal against Malta puts a smile on my face. It normally sends me tumbling down a long dark road of depression. And we're very used to it.
So you can imagine like if we were from a larger nation, things would be even worse. Zilchenko had some nice things to say about Malta in an interview where the interviewer kept calling him Zilchenko. Over and over again, so like he made a mistake once. That's classic us say sometimes with our journalism and all of that. But some really nice words by Zilchenko had a lot of praise for the country of Malta, the hospitality of the... Hospitality. Or the hospitality of the Maltese.
And he even said that he admires the effort that we put in. Yeah, it's not easy to balance a nine to five and a professional football. That's true. You know what I'm fed up of though, bro? All this fucking news about all of these young Italian talented players all being totally addicted to gambling. So when this whole thing came out that they were addicted to gambling, I thought as you mentioned earlier on that it was the equivalent of pleading insanity when committing a murder.
Correct. Well, you've got your back against the wall. You've only worked to reduce your sentence, which is complying and literally pleading insanity. But news has come out now that Fajorli is actually three million euros in debt from many different betting platforms and people have threatened to break his legs and he's had many a meltdown. His mother has suggested therapy many times for him. And part of his one year ban will be, I believe it's a seven month ban, five months of therapy.
And there's also a fine of like 12,500 euros, which I'm sure doesn't help his coin situation. Yeah, that's it's so daft. It's like finding him seriously. I think a ban away from the game is enough. I think that he's getting therapy, which is a good thing. Why the fuck are you putting a fine? Yeah, it's three million in debt. No, it's terrible. But you have to make an example of when rules are rules. Maybe community service dog. He's out there hustling in the streets like your average worker.
That would be the way to do it. True. Christ, that a fucking huge fine like they gave him. It has also come out that Tanaali did bet on Milan while he was actually there, despite betting on games that he didn't actually feature in. So he would bet on, for example, Milan or draw, for example, when he wouldn't even be on the bench for example. And now, apparently, Zanuolo is next to be investigated.
We'll see where this goes. Many names have been rumored that Corona journalist has been leaking a bunch of player names. He mentioned Gatti, Zalewski, so many, so many players. Yes, and that brings us to question number one of our quiz. So get ready guys, because we're about to start. Understand that the questions are going to get harder as we progress. But this is question number one. Ventus Youngster, Nikola Falgioli, has been caught betting on illegal platforms.
In Falgioli's statement, he claimed that he borrowed 40,000 euros in cash on two separate occasions from two teammates. Who were these teammates? I'm going to count down from five and when I get to zero, I think you know what I want you to do. Five, four, three, two, one, zero. The answer is Radu Dragosin and Federico Gatti. Yes, Dragosin, who currently plays at Genoa, was a youngster at Juventus at the same time as Fajoli.
And apparently Fajoli told these guys that he needed money to buy a watch claiming that his mother was responsible for his assets so he didn't have access to them. His debts are the most, two, three million. Supporting the statement that he suffers from a C is gambling addiction, as discussed earlier. Question number two, who currently occupies first place in Seiya? Five, four, three, two, one, zero.
Hopefully you had enough time guys to formulate your answer because she does count down quite quickly. And the answer is Milan, despite losing five-one to Inter. Milan won each of their seven games while Inter lost to Saswolo and drew to Bologna, leaving Milan in first with 21 points and Inter in second with 19 points. Correct. On to question number three guys, who is the current top scorer in Seiya? Five, four, three, two, one, zero. The answer is Lautaro Martinez, who is currently on 10 goals.
He actually becomes the third Inter player in history to reach double figures in just eight matches. Second is Victor Ossiman, who's on six goals. And in third, Tide, there's Dominico Berardi, Nico Gonzalez and Romelu Lukaku with five goals. On to question number four, which three teams are yet to pick up a single victory in Seiya this season? Five, four, three, two, one, zero. The three teams are Udinesi, Salernitana and Kalyari.
The only manager from these guys to have been sacked is Sousa, who has been replaced by Nzagi, of course, while Sothil and Ranieri are still employed, despite not picking up a victory in their first eight games. Correct. And actually Kalyari, the only team coming up from Seiya B that haven't recorded a victory at the season. On to question number five, which team has conceded the fewest goals so far this season? Five, four, three, two, one, zero.
The answer to this is Inter, who have only conceded five goals so far this season. Very good. On the other hand, which team has conceded the most goals? Five, four, three, two, one, zero.
Once again being mentioned for all the wrong reasons, it's Salernitana who have conceded 17 goals in just eight matches, with Sousa claiming that the team's efforts in front of goal were to blame for their poor results, but in fact, these numbers show that it was their defensive solidarity, which was the problem, right? Yeah, maybe the awareness of the coach wasn't all too there as well. Question number seven, guys, which team has struck the woodwork the most this season?
Five, four, three, two, one, zero. Yes, the answer is newly promoted for Zinana, who have struck the woodwork a total of seven times so far this season. We thought their output was actually quite good, but to think that had luck been on their side, they would have had seven more goals this season, that would have been mental. On to question number eight, which team has been awarded the most penalties so far this season? Five, four, three, two, one, zero.
The correct answer is Napoli, who have been awarded six penalties so far this season, scoring four of them. Correct, that was the whole reason I'm sure there was that entire Ossiman Saga over there. Question number nine, we're nearing the end over here, guys. Who are the three teams tied with the most clean sheets in Serie A this season? Five, four, three, two, one, zero. The answer is Juve, Inter and Atalanta. You probably got the first two, maybe you didn't get the third one.
Let us know how you do, guys, in this quiz. By the way, we're always curious to hear about your performance, and these quizzes are too easy, too difficult, we'd like to hear where you stand and your knowledge. Question number ten, which two teams have been shown the most yellow cards in, say, so far this season? Five, four, three, two, one, zero.
The correct answer is Milan and Genoa, who are on 22 yellow cards each in just eight games. That's absolutely crazy. The few are star Inter and Atalanta with 10. The boys in black and blue are not leaving men black and blue. That's true. Milan and Genoa, they probably got all of those yellow cards in their last fixture against each other. That was quite a rough match. It really was. It probably took them over the line, I'm not even taking the piss.
On to our last question, who scored Ampoli's only goal so far this season? Five, four, three, two, one, nearly that, and zero. If you answered Tomasso Baldanzi, you answered correctly. Of course, the answer was not Emmanuel Giorgi, even though it should have been, as he missed many an opportunity to score for Ampoli this season. And Ampoli were another side who saw their coach Paolo Zanetti get sacked for Andrea Zoli.
That is the end of the quiz. 11 questions, so weird. Why didn't we just remove one of them? Because we liked all 11 of them. We chose 11 good questions. Let us know if you got seven out of 11, if you got eight out of 11, whatever. It's really not that big a deal. We'll see you next week, guys, for our usual episode. We'll be there for two hours, as usual, of course. This week was a bit of a quick one. We hope you enjoyed the international break, very more than we did.
