Born in Selbu, Norway on November 22, 1859 Brynhild Paulsdatter Storseth moved to America in the early 1880s where she Americanized & became Belle Peterson. An American Black Widow Serial Killer characterized by her apparent motives involved collecting life insurance, cash and other valuables & eliminating any witnesses. It wasn’t until her 2nd husband that she would become Belle Gunness. She killed between the years of 1880-1909. Her victim count known to be anywhere from 14-40. Her victims not only consisted of Norwegian Immigrant men but unfortunately she is also known to have murdered her “own children”.
