We published an audio/magazine called Sequences for nearly twenty years and at the beginning of 2012 started podcasting on iTunes & more recently on Mixcloud & Soundcloud. We publish two editions each month, approx 3hrs in length. I have been in Electronic music for over 50 years now, from the early experimental sounds of Karl Heinz Stockhausen, the German scene in the 70s with Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Robert Schroeder, etc through to some of the more modern, trance, chill-out, ambient music, although we stay away from techno, house, dance and the more pop-orientated stuff. Why not join our group page on Facebook with nearly 4600 members. If you are a musician/label interested in having some of your music previewed on our podcasts and to a global audience, do get in touch. Sequences Master No 221

It’s been a busy month again outside the music scene and with so many promos coming our way, decided that in the time we had between other projects would compile & release together two separate editions for November, giving us a breather for our last sessions of the year in December. The first podcast, no 221, features melodic uptempo music, progressive, sequential & energetic, with Berlin School-influenced tracks to round off a storming set of sequencing heaven for some of you. In the s...

Sequences Podcast no1

Ten years ago, our podcasts were released on iTunes. We’ve had many requests from listeners who didn’t use iTunes, saying they would like to hear early shows not available on any of the music sites we published on now (Soundcloud is popular). Your voices have been answered with the very first edition. Over time we will bring the missing podcasts up to date on those websites. Sequences was born out of the demise of the very first UK Electronic music audio magazine, Inkeys and the short-lived Synt...

Special Edition: Ron Boots & Friends Podcast No 219

Ron Boots is among the most engaging Electronic Musicians ever exporting music from The Netherlands. Since the late 1980s, his work has been rooted in the Berlin School yet reaches far beyond the basic fundamentals of the genre. Combining elements of Contemporary Instrumental, Film Soundtracks and Spacemusic, Boots' music moves easily between the mainstream and the cosmic. In 1995, together with Kees Aerts, Ron founded the well-respected Groove Unlimited label. This was initially a vehicle for R...

We feature twenty-two new album releases, many names you know already, who have given us excellent sounds throughout their musical careers. Representing their debut on Sequences are Nox, dark ambient edged with industrial and horror recordings. Hailing from India, Sacred Seeds with st...

Sequences Podcast No 212

We have lost two of the most influential composers in the electronic music scene in just over three weeks. Klaus Schulze & Vangelis both had music careers spanning over 50 years. I had the privilege of seeing both musicians performing, only once for Vangelis at the Royal Albert Hall in 1976, supporting his first album for RCA, Heaven & Hell. Klaus Schulze as many of you know was a member of Tangerine Dream, Ash Ra Tempel & Cosmic Jokers before departing on a solo career with a prolif...
