Episode 21: Looking Back on the Shrek Franchise & How It Became What It Was Mocking

SomeBODY once told me Sequel Decay is talking about the Shrek movies, but they ain't the sharpest tools in the shed.  Boy, was that ever forced and not even close to rhythmically in line with the song, but either way, Chris & Stefan are talking about Shrek this week. From its humble beginnings as a subversive parody of Disney and fairy tale tropes with some social commentary on its mind, to becoming as much of a corporate enterprise as what it was parodying. They don't wanna talk about Shrek is Love, Shrek is Life, so don't ask.  They also give some quick updates on the show itself, from hosting the show on Anchor, to a logo and some intro music!
