Episode description

Short tail keywords in SEO are specific long-tail keywords. Short tail keywords have more competition and very high search volume. It is more cost-effective to rank with long-tail keywords because they have a lower keyword difficulty score.

There are a few different types of keywords that can be used in SEO, including phrases and long-tail keywords. Phrases are exactly what they sound like, made up of two or more words that make sense together. The most common type of phrase is known as short-tail keywords. Short tail keywords are most often one-word terms or two-word combinations that total 5-6 words or less. While short-tail terms usually have higher search volume, the phrases can be great for boosting ranking on sites with low amounts of traffic because they have a much lower domain competition and therefore have a better chance at moving up the results page
