The Google Algorithm is constantly updated to reward sites that provide a high quality of experience to users. Website owners are advised to maintain a high quality website, focused on delivering value to the user, in order to avoid any potential algorithm changes.   As Google updates their algorithm, some sites may find they are no longer ranked for former top keywords or keywords they rank for become harder to rank for. What once ranked first on page one of Google for a keyword, now ranks eighth or tenth page results with barely any organic traffic and a traffic loss of over 90% on a site which may have been around for many years.

There are many reasons that Google could drop your rankings . Google is a software program, and like any software program it does not make mistakes. What most people do not understand is, it is an online program which bases its assumptions on facts. The facts could be: Not enough backlinks, Spam Traffic, or Inaccurate Content.
