Canines are our passion. They are our addiction. They are our way of life right down to the very core and without them we would be lost. The canines of this world really are something to behold. They assist us at work, they accompany us at home, and they perform for us in the field. No matter where we go, they are by our side. Canines really are a ride or die, and for that we are grateful.
This podcast will showcase working canines of various breeds and disciplines as we search for those canines and their handlers who are always striving to be the best at what they do. Welcome welcome welcome back to another episode of the Simper Doggin podcast. Guys, I am your host Bryce Matthews and today I am flying solo because this is going to be the shortest podcast ever. Guys here on Simper Doggin you know we keep it real, especially over on Doggin Tuesdays where everything is unfiltered, unedited, raw, uncut, and live. But today I also just want to be real with you that Basham and I are not going to be able to drop an actual episode this week.
Basham has been working his tail off getting a dog ready for the fall superstakes. As I'm recording this right now he has been down there for three nights. He has won early round all three nights. He has yet to make it into the late round. So to advance out of the late round. So we are going to wish him luck as he goes for his fourth and final night tonight here at the fall superstakes hunting a dog called Morgan for Trinity Nickel. Super nice dog out of Captain America.
So we're going to wish Basham luck but that's what he's been doing this week. And then I have been very very busy trying to get things caught up here around the farm and keep old wheels tuned up here for the top 108 of the UKC World Championship. So we are getting ready to bust on down to Marshall Illinois old wheels and I we've put the homework in we've put the time in and now we just got to let the cards fall where they may.
So you know between Basham hunting over there at Super Stakes me getting ready for the world this weekend. Guys we've just been absolutely too busy dogging to record a podcast this week and just want to let you guys know that be real with you be upfront we have no excuses we have nothing to hide. We're just two guys who enjoy doing this we enjoy the camaraderie that we have with everybody. We love putting this stuff out for you guys but we also love our dogs too.
So when life gets in the way whenever these dogs get in the way sometimes other things just have to go to the side and right now this week it was the podcast. So you will be able to join us live next Tuesday for Dog and Tuesday. Basham and I will recap what all we had go on at the Super Stakes and at the World Hunt. Hopefully we will be coming to you as Super Stakes champions and a world champion. That would be absolutely awesome for the Semper Dog and team.
So guys I just want you to know that we do appreciate everything that you guys do for us. We appreciate everybody who tunes in here and listens to us. I can say we're just, Basham and I are very very focused on what we have going on right now at this present time which is the World Hunt and the Super Stakes Championship. So like I said join in with us next Tuesday on our Facebook Live the Semper Dog and Podcast Facebook group will be live for Dog and Tuesday.
We'll recap everything we get to chat with everybody. That is our favorite part of this podcast is getting to hang out with you guys over there and have the live interaction because that's all what this is all about. It's all about the camaraderie.
