Semper Doggen is going out on our own. We are stepping out on a limb. We are going to be venturing off onto this journey without Houndsman XP. We left on good terms with Houndsman XP and Chris Powell. I want to say thank you to Chris for giving me the opportunity to start with him.
The Deep and Lonely podcast was great and Semper Doggen is going to be great. Basher and I just have a few ideas about how we want to grow this and what we want to do. The only way for us to do that and do it to the best of our ability was for us to own everything that we have, which we were going to with Houndsman XP anyways. We need complete control. Control is what we needed on this one. With that being said, Semper Doggen is stepping out on our own and we are our own platform.
Those of you who followed us on the Houndsman XP platform, you're going to need to do us a favor. You're going to need to go to wherever you listen, Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Deezer, wherever you get your podcast and search for Semper Doggen. And once you find Semper Doggen, you're going to have to hit that follow button or the subscribe button because we are no longer going to be showing up on the Houndsman XP feed where you've been used to getting all of our stuff.
It's just going to be for the best of everybody involved that we do this on our own. But we just need to get you guys used to following us on our own pages because we know that some of you guys have followed us on Houndsman XP. You're used to showing up every other Friday on Houndsman XP and that is not going to be the case. So with that being said also, we have created a YouTube channel and we will be uploading all of the podcast in audio form to YouTube.
I know that is one of the biggest things right now is people are starting to listen to podcasts on the YouTube platform. And so we can be found on Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Deezer, YouTube, anywhere you guys get your streaming, that's where you can find Semper Doggen. We're going to be down in Batesville, Mississippi at the Winter Classic this weekend. We have a ton of people already lined up to come down and record with us.

I really enjoyed the camaraderie with them with the Deep and Lonely Show. I really enjoyed everything that had to do with Hounds and XP. I believe in them. I believe in the mission. I believe in what they're doing. I think they're doing a great thing.
I just know that Basham and I had a long hard talk and we just we want to do something huge and if we're going to do it huge, then we just got to do it on our own and we couldn't do it by ourselves. We are here to give back a portion of all of our proceeds from anything that we make off of this is going to help out with our end of year goal, which right now is to buy or contribute to buy a service dog for a disabled veteran. Basham and I are going to be donating all expenses paid to Night Coon Hunt this year to a recipient from Hometown Hero Outdoors.
That's going to be auctioned off at their gala coming up here in March. Whoever wins that, they're going to get to come down to Southern Indiana and do a two night hunt with Basham and I. The other thing I want to tell you guys about, I think this is the last thing, unless I think of something else. The other thing I want to tell you, so we're dropping a podcast every other Friday, but we're also going to drop a podcast every other Wednesday.
And those podcasts are going to be the recordings of these Doggen Tuesdays. The down and dirty impromptu, no holds bar version of Semper Doggen. This is where you guys get to meet us. You get to ask us whatever you want to ask us. You get to interact with us. You get to comment. Do whatever. We're going to take listener questions. This is the down and dirty version. We want to interact with you guys and we want to give you guys something each week.
So we're going to be doing these Facebook lives provided we can get this internet issue figured out. Guys, if we go live here in the next week or so and it's not a Tuesday, probably disregard it because we're trying to work out these bugs. I cannot figure out what's going on right now, but we're going to get it figured out. So every other Friday, you're going to have a full episode of Semper Doggen wherever you listen.
