The team at Froggy Bottom Outdoors is excited to get to know you and will be glad to answer any questions you may have. What is up, I see Basham joined. Now we just need to get him on here. Kyle Dugdale, what's up brother? Jaren Huey, man, long time no see Jaren. I haven't seen you in years. Hope you're doing alright man. Tyler Roten, Mills River Strike 9. Trevor Starkweather, he said what's up, hey buddy. Alright, we're going to accept Basham here. Here we go.
We'll see if Basham can get on here. Will it work? You never know. You just never know. There he is. Dude, can you hear me? Oh, I hear you. Hold on. Yeah, I can hear him. He's there. Wesley Woodward, what's up buddy? Max Schoeneffield, well, Basham was here. There he went. Max Schoeneffield, he's got a pup out of Drive Line and a willy female that we had. I heard that little pup is feisty, a little fireball. Rocky Peace, hello buddy. I've got Tramp scheduled to come back this week.
So Rocky and I, well, I guess it's more like me. I'm going to be getting after it and giving Rocky some updates on that pup. So Dick Brothers, Glenn Price, Billy DeWire, what is up everybody? Glad to have you joining us. This is going to be a quick version of the Doggin Tuesday brought to you by Simper Doggin. If Basham can hear me now, this is going to be a quick version today. We got 30 minutes. We're on the clock. Yeah, the audio is horrible. That's why I jumped off to try to fix it.
Oh, all right. Well, it sounds all right on my end. Looks good. Anyways, hey, we got 30 minutes. Can you do it in 30 minutes? Can you be quick? Oh, I can. Hey, ask the audience real quick. Your audio is with me on. Yeah, I can hear you. I can hear you. I can hear you. I can hear you. I can hear you. I can hear you. I can hear you. I can hear you. I can hear you. I can hear you. I can hear you. Your audio is with me on. Yeah, everybody let me know what the audio is like. You guys let me know.
So hopefully it goes all right. We're connected. We're doing good. Wes, bad on Bryce's end. Dang it. Dude, I don't. Oh, hey, I heard that I might be getting like actual internet put in here, not just a hot pot. Yeah, like I said, both join. It's when we both join. I'm going to do this one more time. Just remember last week, I jumped off, jumped back on. So I'm going to do it one more time. All right. Do it one more time. If not, I'm going to roll because I got this figured out.
I know what I got this weekend. All right. All right. We're just going to roll with it. Here we go. All right. So dogging Tuesday, I got a couple of things I want to say to some people. Number one, I want to say thank you to everybody who's been listening to the actual podcast because I know it's working.
Last week on last week's episode with Michael Mitchell and Lee Wade, we asked you guys to send us an email to semper dogging at gmail.com with the correct answer for the year that John the Baptist, an English dog, won the UKC world hunt. And we had several people send us an email saying that 2013 was the year and they were all correct. It was 2013. But the first person to do it was Brad Gregory.
And I just want to say thank you to Brad for playing along and being the first person that morning to send us that email for his winnings. We shipped him out a semper dog and t-shirt. So he should be expecting that any day now. And it's kind of cool that Brad won so when Froggy Bottom Outdoors opened, he actually heard about us on the podcast, realized he wasn't too far from the store and he actually drove up to the store and met me at the store. Froggy Bottom Outdoors one day.
So Brad and I have had a nice chat, nice conversation. I've got to meet him in person and this has kind of come full circle for him having him win this contest. So Brad, congratulations. Thank you for, you know, shooting us that email with that correct answer. And thank you to everybody else for playing. So I know that you guys are listening. That's a bonus. I'm glad to hear that.
The other way that I know you guys are listening and that things are working and I hope he doesn't mind me doing this, but today, actually today, around one o'clock, two o'clock, I got a call from Mr. Sherman Garrison out of Missouri and he heard the, or actually he took my number off of the last podcast for Froggy Bottom Outdoors, my personal work phone number, which is 765-499-8577. He gave me a call today, had a couple of questions on some boots, on some thermal stuff like that.
And we got Mr. Sherman hooked up with a new pair of hip waders and boots. And that's all because he heard the number on the last, I think it was the last Dog on Tuesday we did. So I know you guys are listening. Thank you guys for supporting the podcast. Thank you guys for supporting Froggy Bottom Outdoors.
If you guys need any hound hunting supplies, you know, whether that's spillproof bowls, leads, collars, garment tracking equipment, briar proof clothing, anything like that, lights, we've got it. So Shane says he needs help guys. He said he's trying to his hardest to make salesman of the month at least once this year. Hey, I had a good day today, Shane. So you've got to keep up after this one.
But no, I really do want to give a sincere thank you to everybody who's been listening to everybody who's been supporting the podcast and Froggy Bottom Outdoors. We could not do it without you guys. You guys, the listener are the backbone to the way that this operates and how everything goes. So I just want to say thank you to you guys. Austin Terrell is watching Aaron Austin guys. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for the support that you guys have given us over here.
I want to say good luck to Stephen Basham this week. I'm going to try to bring him on here one more time. I'm going to say good luck to Basham. He's got a hunt coming up this week. It's a three day event coming up over in Newton, Illinois. So Basham, can you hear me? Am I better? Right now you are. Okay, good. All right. Well, before I let you talk, Shane says thank you to everybody. He says we have been humbled by the support. So all right. Well, Basham says no go.
He said audio when he jumps on is no bueno. It's a Facebook live thing, guys. I don't know what to do about it, but I want to give Basham a shout out and tell him good luck this weekend. Like I said, he's got a three day hunt over in Newton, Illinois. He's going to be going over there and trying his luck at I think it was a $3,000 entry fee hunt that I think he won on a raffle again, if I don't, if I'm not mistaken.
So I know he's taking spot over there and he's taking star and he might take buddy. It just depends on if his luck is any good the first two nights or not. Ben Sheets, Ben's watching. If you guys don't know Ben, go over and check him out at tree talking media. He runs a podcast, the tree talking podcast, and he does a great job. Great photographer. Ben is actually going to be photographing Nikki and I's wedding at autumn Oaks this year.
So you guys go over there, show Ben some love at tree talking media. He does a great job and he gets some really interesting guests over there on that podcast. So I'm all about helping everybody out. Jason Doobie had a statement down at grand American that really stuck with me. He said a rising tide lifts all ships. So I got it stuck with me. If you guys want to support some good podcasts, then tree talking media is another good one. The W podcast, like I said, Jason Doobie, that's a good one.
Heath Hyatt's over there. He's, Heath is doing a great job over there. Now that he's working for W. Shelby Flynn is watching everybody. I want you to say hi to Miss Shelby Flynn. Everybody comment and say hi, Shelby. Shelby is a guest that one day I am going to get on this podcast come hell or high water. She might be one of the most interesting people when it comes to dogs. And I'm just going to give you a little tidbit.
If you guys want to check out some cool dogs, go over on your Facebook and look up black iron borgles. That's B O E R B O E L S. I believe is borgles. I probably just butchered that. Shelby, I apologize. But you guys check out black iron borgles. Shelby raises South African borgles and they are members of the Mastiff breed. And what she's doing on her level is unheard of. She's got people coming from all over the world to buy some of her dogs.
And she is a big supporter of Froggy Bottom Outdoors. She's got guys. She's feeding some next level dog food and really liking it. Having a good having good results on it. You know, we carry that next level over there at Froggy Bottom. She's feeding it. Her dogs look great. She's got some of the best borgles in the nation.
So if you guys want to see some cool dogs and just kind of be impressed, go over there and check out the black iron borgles and we're going to try and get Miss Shelby here on the podcast one of these days. Dylan Asher is watching. Hey buddy, how are you? The horse business. How's the horse business going? I've been curious about that ever since we hunted. I've talked to a couple guys who are in the horse business. They said it's going really well.
So I hope it's hope it's going well on your end as well. Storm Hayes. Thanks for watching my guy. Storm, are you going over to English Days over in Florida this week? I know they got that going on over there and Storm's got a super nice English female named Angel curious if you're going over there and hunting over there to take their money. Billy Dwyer says hi Shelby. Thank you Billy. Thank you. Thank you. Mark Adkin says we have a youth hunt coming up June 22nd.
Bring the kids out to Lincoln County Coon Hunters Association here in West Virginia. So yes, everybody June 22nd put that on your calendar. If you've got a youth head on over there to the Lincoln County Coon Hunters Association in West Virginia. Support that deal. And also speaking of youth events, the Indiana UKC State Youth Event will be on July 13th. I believe that is over in Peru, Indiana. And we are going to have all kinds of stuff going on over there. I believe yes, July 13th.
We've got a couple thousand dollars being given away to the youth. $2,000 in cash money. $2,000 is going to the youth. They can come over there. The show winner is going to get some cash. The night hunt winner is going to get some cash. Think they're doing a round robin. Angie Cable, Nikki Elburn. They've got it going on. They have some help as well. So those ladies are going to put on a fantastic event that's going to be sponsored by the Hoosier Tree Dog Alliance.
Froggy Bottom Outdoors is going to be there. We're going to be set up as a vendor over there. So July 13th, if you guys have a youth and you guys want to have a chance to come out and win some cash to put in those piggy banks, bring them on out to Peru, Indiana, Indiana State UKC Youth Hunt. It's going to be a great time. Basham, I'm not sure on that. Basham said, let them know what the Newton Hunt is for. It's a benefit for Peanut's daughter. I don't know the information on that one, Basham.
So I cannot speak on that because I don't know that information. So if you want to type that out, I'll be glad to read it. Mark Adkin says that that hunt they just talked about over there in West Virginia is a YEP event. So I believe YEP stands for Youth Education Program. And when the youth go over there, they're going to learn something that day. It's put on, usually sometimes they have a DNR officer come in. Sometimes a show lady will do some talking.
It's just a little small educational deal for the youth. It just helps them learn a little bit more about being a Houseman. Raul is on. I met Raul down in Winter Classic in Batesville, Mississippi. Super cool dude. Been a big supporter of Semper Dogg since we started. You guys go follow him on Facebook if you haven't. Raul, I'm not even going to butcher your last name, man. Cabriha, I think, if I'm doing it right. Dude, he's got some plot hounds over there.
He's a super cool Houseman doing a lot of cool things and he's been a great supporter of Semper Dogg. So just want to say thank you to him. Chris Allen's joined us. Chris Smith. Chris, he's in on Froggy Bottom Outdoors. He's in the trenches with us over there. Chris, I know as far as, or just like Shane and I, he appreciates all the support from all you guys. So all right, here we go. Basham says, the hunt in Newton, Illinois is Burl Shoulder's daughter was diagnosed with stage four cancer.
She went to Mexico for treatment and this hunt is to help her with the expenses as she battles the chemo and her journey. So yes, absolutely. That's what that hunt in Newton, Illinois is for. It's for a great cause. And if anybody else is going that way, wants to support any way possible, I'm sure you can get a hold of Basham. He'll be able to direct you with how you can support that hunt if you're not going to it and you just want to support monetarily or even just emotionally.
I'm sure Burl would appreciate that. Jason Daugherty is on here. Jason, I, Jason, I wish I could bring you on. It wouldn't screw up the internet because I want to let you know that I found another trailer Jason that I think we could add on to the hunt that you talked about on your Facebook the other day. If you guys haven't go over to Jason Daugherty's page, look at the trailer hunt that he put on.
Like when I say trailer, I'm talking like a trailer park living home trailer, not a not something you pull behind your truck, a mobile home. And it made me laugh. That post was hysterical. I like the format. I like the rules. But I think I found one up here that I will, I'm going to post on there and see if we can maybe like knock a wall out of each of them and make it a double wide. And then maybe we can, you know, maybe double the entries, double White House, double the entries.
I think it would work. And, you know, Basher need even comment in here. He said, Jason's been on a roll with Jed. Yes, he has those two. The team of Brock McDaniel, Jason Daugherty and old Jed have been, they've been mopping it up. They won both rounds at the Dale Illinois deal and they got in at Michigan. So those two have been on a roll. I'm a big fan of Jed. I like that dog a lot.
Big fan of Bronc and Jason, you know, watching those three do what they've done over the last year has been been super cool. So always supporting them and always rooting them on whenever I see they're there to hunt. So yep, with Jed on a roll, maybe Jason, you can find somebody to handle for you and maybe you could enter the double white hunt with your own dog. This trailer is nice. It's got nice patina to it. It's got some moss growing on the side of it.
I think it's missing a couple of windows, but the front yard's not growing up too bad. So it might be a good place right on the river. Not sure if that's something you're interested in, but I'll hook you up if you are. All right, guys. Well, other than that, I don't have a lot. I just wanted to get on here real quick and say thank you basically just to thank you to everybody for supporting the podcast for supporting Froggy Bottom Outdoors getting on there.
And Shane said, throw in your chicken house and I'm in. Shane, I hate to tell you, you waited too long. And I actually sold that chicken house at six o'clock today. I had a lady drive about 45 minutes and she came up and bought that chicken house. So yeah, you waited too long. I gave you the opportunity and she's a goner. So I do apologize. But yeah, guys, thank you for supporting Froggy Bottom Outdoors. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for supporting Semper Dog.
And we're going to have another episode coming out for you next Friday. I'm actually sitting down Thursday this week and recording with a couple. And then we're sitting to bash them. And I are going to sit down this weekend and record with another guy. So it's going to be we got some good episodes coming up. Also, we cannot forget Joey Goforth, Never Satisfied Off-Road. He is another sponsor of this podcast and we could not do without him.
Never Satisfied Off-Road, guys, if you guys need any parts for your ATVs, UTVs, off-road vehicles, dirt bikes, get a hold of Joey over there at Never Satisfied Off-Road. They can hook you up with parts, accessories, anything like that. They can get you right back where it needs to be. So you're not stranded out whenever you're following these hounds. Joey's just a stand up guy. Great dude. He works his butt off. He's just a good dude in the port of John business.
If you guys don't know Joey, he pumps poop for a living and he makes bank doing it. So good on him. It takes all kinds of kinds to make the world go round. So like I said, thank you everybody for watching. Thanks for the support. We really appreciate it. Stay tuned the next couple of weeks for the podcast. Let us know what you think about them. Let us know if you're enjoying them.
If you want to change something, if you have somebody that you want to get on the podcast, if you want to be on the podcast, let us know. We're having a great time doing this. Bachel and I have always said from day one, this is two buddies who are just hanging out, having fun, enjoying our time talking to people, talking dogs, talking hounds, you know, trying to, to learn about different disciplines, different people, different breeds. It's been pretty heavy coon hunting. That's what we know.
But we do want to reach out and branch out and talk to some more people. So going to be doing that this weekend actually. Not going to give you a spoiler. Not even going to give you a spoiler alert for who it is. I'll give you a clue though. He's from South Dakota. So if you guys can figure it out, then good on you. Joey go forth is watching right now. So Joey, thanks for joining us, buddy. We just gave you a big old shout out over there at never satisfied off road.
We appreciate everything that you do for us. Thank you for being a supporter of simple dog and podcast. And hopefully people will be going over there for all of their off road accessory needs and replacement parts. I can say guys, Joey go forth, never satisfied off road, Shane Smith, Chris Smith, froggy bottom outdoors. Without those guys, this show would not be possible, especially without you guys as well. So you guys, the listeners are top notch. Thank you guys for sending us emails.
Oh, I just thought also speaking of emails, if you guys have noticed and been following along, we haven't had anybody on in a couple episodes for a hometown hero of the week. We need you guys to send us those people who are special in your lives, who are in any type of service, whether that's military, first responder, EMS, police department, firefighter, any of those guys, anybody that's a hometown hero in your life.
Please send us a little one paragraph deal to simple doggon at gmail.com so we can get those people highlighted and featured. We love to give back. We'd love to feature those people. We love to support them and say thank you. But we need you guys to send us to send us some people to say thank you to. And I know everybody that's watching here knows somebody who is in one of those fields that they would like to say thank you to.
So like I said, simple doggon at gmail.com, that's the email you can send it to Shane. Shane says Wyatt. So his son, Wyatt, he just enlisted in the army. He's going in September 9th. I believe it's his ship out date. So Shane, if you could please send an email or slide a note over on my desk, uh, give me a little write up about why it will get him on there and we'll get him featured. We can do that for sure. Um, I think that's all I've got.
I'm getting ready to go meet up with Jason Bowen tonight. Go do a little hunting. Hopefully wheels can stay out of the mulberry trees. Those mulberries came on pretty thick this last week. Kittens were in them and it was not great. So hopefully tonight it looks better. Big fan of my little wheelie bar. He's my buddy, but the mulberries, they kicked his butt last time we went out.
So meeting up with Jason Bowen tonight, going to go out there and see if we can treat a couple of coons and just have a good time doing it. So this summertime hunting is hard. Whenever it gets late, about 10 o'clock here on the Eastern time zone, that coon hunting is rough on a guy in the summertime, especially with all of the stuff we've got going on over here at the farm and, uh, you know, just having a good time doing it. So all right, I'm done rambling guys.
Once again, thank you for everything. We appreciate the support of Semper dogging. Stay tuned next Friday for another episode. We'll be dropping wherever you listen to your podcast. You guys have a fantastic week and we'll catch you on the next dogging Tuesday. We all know that canines can take us to some wild places and some of those are only accessible by an off-road vehicle. No matter how hard you try to maintain your ride, something is bound to break on one of your adventures.
