The world decries capitalism for the evil of monopolies -- those greedy profiteers who would sap the people of their wealth by being the only ones who produce a good or service. But most people fail to realize that so called "natural monopolies" are impossible. The only monopoly you see today aren't from the free market, but from the government. In fact, the longest running, best protected, and most common monopoly are government public utilities, the providers of some of our most necessary services. Join us and Sarah Hunt of Hunt Public Policy as we discuss how the rise of broadband utilities, along with all the others, threaten the foundation of our right to property, and a prosperous society.
