Episode 02 - Melissa Lavasani

Melissa Lavasani was suffering a debilitating bout of depression. She contemplated taking her own life because in her mind, she just wanted to, "give some relief to my family." Finding little relief in the conventional methods of treatment, Melissa turned to a drug that's been making waves in the therapeutic world - psychedelic mushrooms. Within days, Melissa felt relief and was no longer in state of crisis. Her husband noticed her eye contact had returned and that she was carrying her body differently. 

Her results were so profound that she became the chairwoman of Initiative-81 in Washington, D.C. If approved, I-81 would make naturally occurring psychedelic drugs the lowest possible priority for law enforcement.

She's a mom, a government employee, and has been dubbed "The Most Normal Person Ever." She's an incredibly warm person and is a ton of fun to talk to. Hope you enjoy!
