Welcome to Sears beers, knowers, and doers, a podcast about intuition. Do you know what that is? Intuition to me, is that inner sense for knowing that something is true and yet I have no proof, but there's so many definitions and there's so many ways it can come and go even to bring together and share with you. Some amazing guests, you have some amazing life stories and also some insights into how intuition can come. And I'm looking to gather those crows in the trees. I hope you're one of them.
I hope that this podcast inspires you to be more connected to your intuition. And I hope that by doing that, we make the world a better place. Thanks for coming on this journey with me
Before we get started today, I would love to share some tools with you to help with stress and feeling overwhelmed, especially for the energetically sensitive person. Feel free to go to my store on my website at www dot healing, vitality.ca. Thanks so much for coming on this journey with me.
I am so grateful that you have taken the time to come along on this journey with me. And I can't believe we are actually at the end of second season. Time and space has been very weird. I find in the last year with COVID things have gone slowly, but they've also gone quickly. I don't know if any of you are finding that as well, but I do find that it is incredible how time is shape-shifting in that way. This year I've had the pleasure to make some amazing connections around the world.
I refer to it as my light bright board and how I have basically all these light brights now on this light bright bird . And it's simply because I have this venue to ask people to have a conversation. And it's interesting to me that we don't think we can do that without a purpose behind it.
And so this divinely led podcast has given me that purpose that allows me to have conversations with people before the podcast, after the podcast and during the podcast that I share with you guys that has brought me such rich relationships throughout these crazy times, I have had the pleasure to quote unquote, I was going to say steal , but it's not steal .
I've had the pleasure to make connections with a lot of the same podcast guests that somebody who's been a podcast guest of mine, Mr. Work Schiller has had on his podcast and that ability to share podcast guests and bring them to more people in the world and have a different conversation than he's having. I find also enriching because we have the chance to gather different information when we ask different questions.
So I think that's an important lesson actually, because I don't know that we're in the Headspace of asking questions these days. I think that sometimes we are in the Headspace of receiving a lot of information and all that information, sometimes overloads the circuits. I find I've had the privilege of being able to be out in nature a lot in the last year, and also being able to control my access to the information that floods the airwaves.
And I find that trying to support my brain to not get overloaded allows me to still stay connected to my intuition. That's been a lesson that's come out regularly in my podcast . And so I get reminded regularly through my conversations over the last year about being still about the importance of nature about following the nudges about staying in the space that keeps me aware of all the different ways that intuition can come.
And I hope that you two have been noticing those patterns and that you two have also been able to integrate systems and processes into your life to support you in these times. That can feel overwhelming for people, just from the information perspective of things. I know that some people get consumed by the media. The news, I know my own mother would watch the news four times a day, years ago, and she herself has limited it to once a day on television.
And that's self-regulation is a great thing, and I'm not trying to be political at all. It's just an awareness of how much we have instant access to the news now, or to the media or to any information and how our circuits can be blown by that. So taking the opportunity to disconnect from our technology, I think is one of the lessons of COVID for me, because that isolation factor has increased the connectivity through technology with people.
And I use the technology to connect with my podcast guests, interestingly enough, a lot of the times that's how I've found them. So there's this balance, it's a fine balance. And that's an interesting concept to the fine balance. A lot of you understand that I've integrated a lot of horse guests into this podcast because I've had this amazing journey learning about horses and experiencing them in my own life.
And frequently that phrase a fine balance is used by the person who I'm being mentored with. And it's true. Life is a fine balance. I mean, we can take a look at it from so many different angles. We only have the present and there's a fine balance in the chemistry inside of us. There's a fine balance in the world around us, as far as nature's concerned.
And we're seeing that balance be out of balance in a lot of ways currently between the forest fires and other natural disasters that are happening.
And so I think if we can raise our awareness of the gift of the present and raise our awareness of how important maintaining the fine balance and how our intuition actually helps us maintain that fine balance, whether it's realizing that you're dehydrated and going for a drink of water or listening to your body when it needs to rest or being in a situation where you're like, Hmm , I probably should stop for gas.
And then realizing that you're actually needing to go on a longer Trek in your carb before fueling up. And you didn't know that at the time. So that fine balance is just curious to me how we can ignore things. That'll keep , keep us in a fine balance sometimes. And really life goes so much smoother when we, when we play in that realm of the fine balance. So anyways, just, just that hit me recently.
The other thing I'll reflect on, as far as all these podcasts this year, we've had such a diverse group of people who've said yes, which is so lovely. We've had vets and photographers and store owners and mental health advocates and inventors and coaches and energy workers and world travelers and authors and a Senator and music therapist, nonprofit people, horse people, lawyers, trauma experts. And that just shows me how there is nobody immune to intuition.
There is no job that's immune to intuition and there's no age that's immune to intuition. And so if we could all just take them away and reflect on that, that would be lovely. The other idea, I guess, that comes to mind is how willingly people have said yes. And how often I hear how they've enjoyed the conversation. They didn't know necessarily when they said yes, how much they would enjoy the process, but actually allowing people to speak about themselves is a gift I find.
And I would encourage do you guys, just, like I said, at the start of the conversation, I would encourage you guys to engage in conversations with people about themselves, whether it's asking your grandmother about what life was like when they were a kid or asking your parent what life was like when they were a kid or what were some of the biggest struggles in their marriage, or, you know, what were some of the things that made them love their sport ?
You know, there's so much opportunity to learn things you didn't know before when you ask the questions. And that's been one of the most enriching parts of doing this podcast is listening and connecting dots and realizing how much I have in common with my podcast guests, or even how much I can learn from asking those questions.
So if I could challenge you to do something going forward, it would be to pay attention to the fine balance, pay attention to your own intuition and ask questions, ask questions for a couple of different reasons, ask questions, to learn more like follow the breadcrumbs , ask questions, learn more about circumstances. You don't understand and ask questions to the people around you or even people you wish you could just have a conversation with ask them for a conversation.
Cause you just want to learn more about them and not in some creepy stalky way, but just because you're really interested. And you just may be surprised at the response that you get. So again, everybody, thank you so much for coming on this journey with me, it is a delight to be able to offer this out to the world. And it has been so wonderful to share all these amazing people with you and what they're doing in the world. It's really kind of cool.
And people don't have to be doing anything in the world in order to bring the world to a better place. As you can hear from the guests, some people are beers. Some people are doers. Some people are knowers. Some people are Sears. We all have gifts that we bring to the world that make the world a better place. So just be you. It is very important task. We need you. It's real important these days. All right . Thank you so much.
Again, have a wonderful day and we will see you for season three in September. That's a few weeks away. How crazy taking a break for now, though? All the best. Keep shining, keep listening, keep being you until next time. Keep seeing being no one and doing, thank you.
Thank you so much for giving us your time today. We truly appreciate our guests for sharing their stories and insights about how intuition has impacted their lives.
