If impact is the effect we have on people in that moment (I believed them or not) then influence is the onward result as an effect (I will meet them again or not). As many are ramping up their levels of in-person interactions this is the third in our focus on 'evergreen skills' - essential now and for the foreseeable. We share tips for making your message land with impact (one word: poise) and communicating in a way that develops rapport, builds your reputation and ensures an onward positive influence. In a time of flux in the employment market, you just never know when people may pop up again in the future and recall the impact you had on them which influences their perception.
