Episode description

Alexandra Rose shares her journey of how she went from being a junkie to being an entertainment lawyer. After battling a heroin addiction, she got sober at the age of 19 and has been unstoppable ever since.

She dropped out of high school at 16, got her GED, moved away from Massachusetts, got sober in Orange County, attended UCLA, graduated law school, and passed the bar exam just recently on her first attempt. Alexandra is also an open lesbian and talks about her scary and surprising coming-out story. Today, with 11 years of sobriety, she works for one of the top music law firms in the country. Alex considers her life’s purpose is to inspire people to achieve their goals and to never give up. How that new purpose manifests is anyone’s guess, but we know it will be as inspirational as she is.
