Episode description

WARNING: This episode contains descriptions of drug abuse and sexual violence which may may be upsetting for some listeners.

The story you are about to hear on this episode is the struggles of a young middle class woman who felt ostracised by her peers, and so became a sex worker and drug addict.  As a street worker she was viciously attacked by a punter - and seen as less than a victim by the police. Victoria, my guess today, has transformed her life and recently witnessed her attacker convicted and imprisoned not just for the crime he committed against her but also others. Her past has become her strength and she contacted me, by way of a very long email letter and then agreed to share her story, a story that is not only candid but also revealing.
