Hope in Suffering

Long-time SMC member Lenae Nofziger recounts the places in her own life and in scripture where she find hope.  She includes her own bout with depression, the strength of the prophets, the compassion and empathy of Jesus possible because of his own suffering.  Suffering is not part of some cosmic plan by God, but "if suffering were unavoidable even for the son of God, how could anyone else avoid it?"  Through it all, Lenae gives and account of the hope that is in her.
