Episode description

Our host John Drummond's guest this week is Maria Joao Kay.  Originally from Portugal, Marie has lived in Scotland for over 40 years.  She teaches at St Andrews.  She is married to author Billy Kay and they have three children.  In this fascinating discussion she compares the relationship between Spain and Portugal to that of England and Scotland and describes what life was like before the revolution in Portugal which overthrew fascism and afterwards.  An eloquent, heart warming discussion.
