Episode description

It is 1923. A temporary radio station has been set up to sell car radios to the great and good of Glaswegian society. But it's more important than that. This is the first time Scotland has had a proper radio station.

And it's going to change everything...

Graham Stewart lends his expertise as we explore the impact of 2BP on the nascent BBC. His book 'Scotland On Air: A Century of Scottish Broadcasting' will be available here.
