Episode description

Today we discuss one of our famous relative's ... just a joke. In 1828 William Burke and William Hare went on a little killing spree around Edinburgh. Body snatching was extremely common at this time, as a way to make money. The bodies would be sold of to medical students and surgeons struggling to find cadavers. The fresher the corpse the higher the price. It's said they killed sixteen people, but the real number could be lower, or higher.
