Episode description

The city is looking at the possibility of conducting an independent study that would assess the needs of Hamilton’s entertainment venues (including FirstOntario Centre, FirstOntario Concert Hall, and the Convention Centre) and whether or not they need to be renovated or replaced. Carmen’s Group and several other partners are willing to spend up to $250,000 to contribute to that study to get the conversation started.

Is this something that would be good for the city’s downtown core?

Guest: Scott Warren, associate of Carmen’s Group, owner of Hamilton Cardinals

Scott and Don Robertson of the Dundas Real McCoys are back for their usual Monday night sports chat after a three week absence. There’s plenty to discuss, including Tiger Woods’ runner-up finish at the PGA championship and the wide disparity between the amount of prize money given out to men and women at the Rogers Cup.
