As we eagerly await Season 5, the last for Lost Girl, members of three Lost Girl podcasts join to dissect Season 4 and predict what the series' final season will hold. A mix up with two Jam Pony deliveries nearly gets Normal definistrated, while Max attends Logan's cousin's wedding as his date. Do we detect hints of jealousy from Max when one of Logan's ex-girlfriends hits on him at the wedding?
Logan and Max protect a government witness ready to testify against the mayor and his corrupt administration, but when the witness turns out to be Bruno, things don't turn out quite the way the parties expect. It also turns out that the Manticore kids aren't the only super soldiers in town, and Max and the others have more than Lydecker to worry about.
Logan's fear of intimacy gets in the way of Max's attempt to perhaps take their relationship to the next level, and he uses Eyes Only as his primary means of avoidance. They do bring down a child trafficking ring, but at what cost. In perhaps the episodes biggest WTH moment, we see Normal as a normal guy who just wants to connect with a girl, but it turns out to be a bit more complicated than that.
Lydecker steps up the pressure on Max by offering a $50,000 reward, and it takes Logan and Zach working together to extricate her from his pincers. Shippers certainly receive something to talk about in this episode, but it's the dream sequence that leaves most viewers scratching their heads as they attempt to make sense of what they've just seen. We learn that Max's seizures aren't the only issues facing the kids from X-5 group at Manticore. Brin, one of the 12 that escaped ten years ago, calls Zach because she's afraid Lydecker's on to her, but her physical problems may be even worse. In her search find help with her seizures, Max attends a genetic engineering conference. Since the study's focal point is a young boy, she is keenly interested, but comes face to face with her worst nightmare. Donald Lydecker. Meanwhile, Logan struggles with the fact that he's wheelchair bound.
Max finally gets a break and is reunited with Zach, but it doesn't take long to see that they've taken radically different approaches to life after Project Manitcore. Does Max exhibit a little jealousy when Logan's ex-wife comes back into his life?
Sketch gets himself into trouble with the Russian mob, and it's up to Max and Original Cindy to bail him out. More of Max's abilities surface, while Logan works behind the scenes to help a daughter find information about the father who mysteriously disappeared years earlier.
We discuss the episode in which Max's design flaws render her temporarily helpless as she depends on Logan and some unexpected support to once again evade Leideger's reach. Have we seen the last of Walter's scheming ways?

When Al Hawk turns up in New Gotham City, his presences sets into motion a number of complex actions. Hawk's protege wants to take him out, and his son wants to put him in prison. Dinah battles her demons as she must fight the urge to exact revenge for her mother's death.
Barbara's past returns to haunt her as former nemesis Lady Shiva seeks revenge for the death of her little sister eight years prior. Several plot twists add to the story as we find out the Sandy (Lady Shiva) and Helena were BFFs in high school though they haven't seen each other in eight years. Meanwhile, Dinah learns a valuable lesson about the ethics and morality of superpower use when she goes over the line to get a boy to like her.
Sarah offers her unconditional surrender to Rachel and Dyad in order to free Kira, but the move prompts a number of unforeseen consequences. The four sisters unite for the first time, and we learn that Project Leda has split into two factions. Mrs. S trades Helena for Kira, and we've been introduced to not only male clones but also an 8 year old clone who acknowledges Sarah as her big sister.
The race to save Cosima's life takes a positive turn as Ethan Duncan arrives at Dyad and immediately begins to decode the genetic sequences with Scott's help. We see a new side to Donnie Hendrix, and Alison obviously likes what she sees after the two bury Aldous Leekie's body. But perhaps the biggest plot twist involves Kira and Rachel.
Two for the price of one isn't always a bargain, and while it seems the crime fighting trio have some help from a fellow meta-human, the story takes a quick turn. The Huntress/Reese relationship, if you can call it a relationship, hits a bump in the road when Lynn, the local DA, appears on the scene, and we find out that they dated, albeit briefly.
It's been awhile, but we're introduced to a new clone, and like Sarah in the beginning, has no idea of what he's a part. It gets a bit more complicated, but Ethan Duncan comes in from the cold to work at Dyad now that Aldous Leekie's been killed and the hope is that he can produce a cure for Cosima and potentially the others.
Dinah copes with the death of her mother, the Black Canary, while Barbara takes her relationship with Wade to the next level. Helena and Reese continue to spar, but both their lives are on the line as she puts herself out to help him bring in a gang that turns out to be working to fund Dr. Q's plot to take over New Gotham City. Will Helena eventually go too far in her thrill seeking?
Dr. Aldous Leekie is dead, killed by of all people, Donny Hendrix after Donny learns he's been lied to from the beginning. Now what? Ethan Duncan is in play and being guided by Mrs. S as they presumably bring the missing clone science to Cosima and Delphine so they can figure out why the clone are getting sick and find a cure. Is Kira the key? What will Donny and Paul do now? What will Rachel do now that she knows her father's alive and Leekie murdered her mother?
Sarah and Helena embark on a road trip to find the Cold River Institute and perhaps clues to their past. Rehab doesn't sit well with Alison, nor does being alone agree with Felix as he copes with the fact that he's been used as a pawn in Rachel's fight to gain control.
To the surprise of everyone, Dinah's mother, the same mother who abandoned her at age six, shows up in New Gotham City though she has no idea her daughter now lives there. Though Carolyn Lance and Barbara Gordon know each other, the fact that Carolyn is Dinah's mom and also Black Canary throws our trio for a loop.
To get what she wants, Rachel pulls out all the stops, but twin sestras Sarah and Helena refuse to sit idly by. Apparently, the original genome was destroyed in the fire leaving the clones essentially orphaned, but their creator, Dr. Ethan Duncan may be alive after all.
Questions answered; questions raised. Is Daniel finally dead? How much does Mrs S. really know? Will Helena join Team Clone? Is there a Canadian produced genre show that doesn't feature Roger Cross?
