Episode description

On this guest episode Abi talks with Eduardo Rodriguez, a final year phd student at Princeton working in plasma physics. This episode we get into the premise of Danny Boyle's 2007 foray into space, we talk about the realities of a dying star and the potential for 're-igniting' the sun using a nuclear bomb.

Having received his degree in physics from Oxford back in 2017, Eduardo moved to the US to take on his phd, and some surfing when time permits. His research focuses on stellarators, a method of magnetic confinement for fusion experiments, and he's a bit of a film nerd!
