Richard II wird in einer pompösen Zeremonie zum König gekrönt. Die Engländer wollen zeigen, dass alles unter Kontrolle ist, auch wenn nun ein Kind auf dem Thron sitzt. Aber Richard ist noch nicht einmal in Amt und Würden, als der Hundertjährige Krieg in die nächste Runde geht.
